Our Italian adventure began with watching Davide’s videos from our home in Maine in 2023. We were captivated by the prospect of moving to Italy with a team specificially designed to make the move easy! His YouTube videos led to a video conference and then to video tours of rental properties. We selected a property to rent and arrived and found the house all set up for us - fully furnished and with signature Italian snacks in the fridge for us! A few months into renting and we were ready to buy and again, SWL found us a house which met our requirements. The renovations were carried out by their team of professionals and to make a too-long story shorter - we will celebrate our second anniversary in Salento later this month. Our move here with SWL was the right decision and we would not change a thing! Thank you Davide, Anna Maria and team! We love you all!

After we bought our beautiful apartment in Lecce we realized we were going to need help, so we turned to Salento With Love. We had seen a few of Davide's videos on YouTube so I called him, and after a coffee and lengthy conversation in his office in Galatone, we agreed to meet again at the apartment and go over what needed to be done. We had water supply issues, drainage issues, and some issues with our neighbor, who would require some delicate handling if we were to do anything to improve the property. Davide introduced me to a reliable lawyer to help smooth our path. Then, together, we devised a plan for bringing the apartment back to its former glory.
The legal work and subsequent plumbing work were indeed more complex than we could have handled on our own. The primary reason is communication. Davide and his team all studied in the UK and are fluent--not merely conversationally, but technically, which is critical when bridging the gap between trade specialists and foreign clients. Then there is the expertise Davide brings to the table. He know real estate, as well as architecture. He is a man of expansive knowledge and good taste. And of course there is the immense passion and tirelessness he brings to his work. Our place is still being worked on as I write this, with the end in site. We will continue to rely on Salento with Love to manage our bills and keep an eye on things for us while we are away. Overseas property ownership need not be so daunting or risk-filled.

Salento with Love is a full service agency that specialises in foreigners purchasing property in Southern Puglia, Italy.

We first went to them in 2022 when we were starting to think about purchasing a home and wanted to rent for an extended period 1st to see how we liked living in the area before starting to look to purchase. After the sale, they managed the renovations and provided property management support giving us piece of mind while we are away.
