Easy to navigate software with helpful pointers when mistakes are evident. Uncomplicated ordering and quick delivery. I ordered a book on Sunday and it was delivered to the UK on Wednesday morning. The quality of the printing was outstanding, thank you to everyone involved at Saal.

On our return from a fabulous holiday in Vietnam i decided to document it with a photo book. I found uploading the pictures fine unless I wanted to change one, or the configuration. Then it became a bit clunky. It was expensive, but for the holiday of a lifetime, I thought it’ll be worth it. Overall, it was, but there are a few things I’m not happy about with. There’s a duplicate! I know it’s my fault, but surely you have a system that notifies me I’ve made a duplication. Also, you assess the photos I’m uploading and tell me, yes, good quality. However the reproduction of some are a little blurry. And you could have suggested maybe a better way to frame some pictures. So, for the money I paid, I was expecting a better quality book.
Update 14/05/26. Saal have contacted me and addressed the concerns I had with my photo book. They have offered to re do the book at no charge. So I’m very happy with that outcome.

A great website for personalised items. Easy to order and great quality of products. Delivery is quick and tracking updated regularly.

Their photo books are not the cheapest but the quality is outstanding. The software was well designed and easy to use. Delivery was in days not weeks and I was surprised how much I loved the delivered product.

Cover : brush metal print + leatherette. Delivery was very fast. Ordered on Friday and received on Monday. I love the photo book. All the photo was bright and beautiful. The front cover with the metal is the best.i will give it 100%. The quality is of the professional line photo book is also 100%. I love what I received and recommend Saal digital to everyone. I had the chance to try out Saal Digital's professional line with a voucher from a Facebook ad. I must say I am truly impressed with the quality of the photo book and the speedy delivery.

The software was okay to use and once I got the hang of organising the templates to my liking it was pretty easy. There's just one thing I'd like to add to this. It would be so much better if the picture were less cropped. There were a couple of high def pictures I had to abandon because of this. Resizing the pictures to try to keep the same ratio instead of fixed cropping and the software would be perfect.

From the print quality to the acrylic cover and other materials used the photobook looks and feels luxurious.
I must admit if not for the voucher I wouldn't have bought it full price, but with a discount/voucher I would absolutely go for it again.
I have tried a couple of other UK based photo printing companies but so far Saal digital is a standout. It's perfect for printing special occasion photos and even more impressive as a gift for family and friends.

I had an excellent experience with my, first time, using Saal Digital to print a book.
The software is easy to navigate and set up options.
The 'drag and drop' facility means you can get a lot done in a relatively short time.
The speed of upload is very fast!
For the book itself I am delighted with the quality of images and screen to print matching, I really liked the 'lay flat' binding which allows images across the full width. Delivery was impressively quick from ordering and the packaging was very good and protective.

I chose Saal for my photobook over other companies for a couple of reasons. 1/ the software to create the book worked really well and was far less faffy than others I tried. 2/ The options for size and quality were ideal for my needs. At full price I wouldn’t have made the purchase and put up with more faffy competitors, but the discount offered made the decision easy. Once created and submitted the book arrived very quickly and the quality was very impressive.

The photobooks that I have ordered have been produced to a very high standard and delivered well packaged in a very fast time frame. The reason it is not a 5 star rating is that the dis count voucher of £30 turned out to be £5 in reality when applied to the product. This was confusing and terms should be much clearer. That of course is my opinion.

The site is quite clunky, especially if you want a few pics per page, page formatting is not as easy on much cheaper sites. Pricing was very confusing, with different prices showing on different pages through the order, with no reason for the change. I had a voucher for £100 which was why I tried this company, but there was only £90 taken off the total. I went ahead as by that point I had invested a lot of time and effort. The book is beautiful and quality is very good but only worth the effort for a vey special album

I’d say this overall is a good product, I’m surprised by the size and the quality tbh, leather on the inside, and premium feel to the photos, I’d say the only thing letting it down was the blurriness on a couple pages, I’d rather have the image fit to page than stressed, but the photos with that extra definition does really pop, would be more than happy to try them again in the future but for now, the blurry photo is enough for me to look at other options for a portfolio,

This was by far the easiest photo book interface we tried when we were putting together our daughter's wedding album. Once we got the hang of not using the templates we really had so much freedom in how we could lay out each page. We actually enjoyed the design process!
When the album arrived we were absolutely thrilled. It is a real keepsake and cost us a lot less than an album we'd had professionally for our other daughter 5 years earlier. Delivery was about 10 days but that's because of the Easter Bank Holidays. We'd definitely go back to Saal.

The photo book was of excellent quality - the photos were very clear and vibrant. We have created many photo books over the years and this is by far the best.

There was a slight problem with the corner of the cover but customer service dealt with this in a satisfactory and speedy manner
