I’ve ordered two books in the past and they were amazing, I can’t say anything bad about them but this occasion most of the photos were okay but there were 8 photos that are blurry and when I made the book the quality was very good on the pictures so I don’t understand how this happened

I've just received a new photo book and it is stunning.

However, my new photo book was to replace one where I wasn't happy with the image quality. Saal was kind enough to give me a voucher to replace it. I prepared the new one, using photos of a higher resolution. I noticed that the price was double that of the first book but thought that the first had been on special offer. I'd promised to get my daughter a wedding photo book with hi-res images, so paid the extra, on placing the order. It transpired that I'd inadvertently selected a higher all round quality book, in error. This was the same evening that I had placed the order. Unfortunately, Saal told me that I would have to proceed, or cancel and then start the order again. This was because it's an automated process. I had spent 5 or 6 hours preparing this new book, so didn't want to start again, so just went ahead.

Somehow, I had managed to select the wrong specification for this new book. It is exactly the same dimensions, with the same number of pages as the first book. The only difference is that each page is thicker.
This happened because, on the first book, the system warnings didn't show that the resolution of some images was too low. It would have been great if the layout of the first book had been saved, for me to edit with the hi-res photos, but it wasn't.

I made the error of selecting this much more expensive book because there are so many options to choose from. I thought I'd selected the top quality one the first time, but clearly hadn't.

The people at Saal have been really helpful, kind and supportive. But on this occasion, THE COMPUTER SAID NO. Having said all that, my daughter loves it. That's what counts.

Blown away, I thought it would turn out rubbish as I have never done this before! Im amazed st the quality. And everyone who has seen it is amazed as well.

Easy to use the book making manager

The tutorials were helpful and the software was easy to use after a little practice. Delivery was on time and the photo album itself was brilliant. Showed the album to friends who were very impressed with the quality. Should have ordered more pages.

Really enjoy the Saal Digital app, super intuitive for putting together a photo book. I put a large book of wildlife photography together and I’m extremely happy with the results. Very professional looking, great quality, will use again.

Excellent quality Photobook. Once over the learning curve of creating the book using all the features available, I find it very flexible and creative and the final quality of colours and paper is the best of any company I've used before. My only slight criticism is the somewhat confusing pricing structure and discount codes that are constantly available but changing every few days.

I’m ordering a book from here for the second time. The first time it wasn’t too bad. This time it’s a gift for my partner, who is also a photographer. The color reproduction on the prints is simply awful. Skin tones look pink in every photo. I have no idea how I’m supposed to give THIS as a gift. I added one star for the fast delivery. Disappointed.
Upd: I contacted support and received a voucher.

I enjoyed the format to create my photo book. It’s the first one I ever made. I wanted a really high quality photo book for a wedding album gift. It arrived quickly and was excellent quality. Thanks.

You provide a quality product that is designed on easy to use software, swiftly. However my latest book was slightly damaged on one corner of the cover, even though the packaging was undamaged.

This is the fourth time I've copped a book here and I haven't been disappointed since. The software for building your book is great. I did it all in one night & apart from some size errors on my part, I couldn't be happier.

Good communication re delivery, well packaged and high quality photobook!

I ordered a photo book. Took 5 days before being sent out which is more than advertised. When I tried to chase it was difficult as you can only email them, no phone number to speak to anyone. They ignored my emails until I posted a bad review. Whole process took 9 days.Disappointed in final product, pages weren’t flat but all wavy and bumpy, maybe from glue?. Didn’t give the professional finish, bearing in mind cost around £100.
