Unfortunately the first appointment with RS Connect was cancelled after a morning waiting in with no notice or I'd give a five. However Joel gets a six. He arrived 8AM prompt. Gave me some excellent advice the RAC should take note of. Waited for a solution, then did a first class job of fitting. Very personable and efficient young man. I'd definitely use RSC again, but their office needs a little procedure audit.

Gentleman who came to install the dashcams was pleasant, and did an excellent job. Everything neat and tidy.

We’ve used RS Connect twice now - for an install of a dashcam and an uninstall recently (as our lease car is due to be replaced). They’re easy to deal with and turn up when promised. All staff are friendly and polite, both in the call centre and the fitters. Will be using them again to refit the dashcam once our new lease car is delivered.

Marc was brilliant. Really friendly and professional. Explained the tracker and what needed to be done and how to use.

From the first contact by Charlotte giving a complete quotation to fit my own dashcam after my enquiry, and subsequently, when I phoned her to book the appointment, everything was handled in a clear and friendly way.
The engineer, John, text me this morning to confirm
he would arrive at 9am, which he did, and gave me the
impression of being totally experienced and that there would be no problems fitting the dashcam into mt Corsa.
And that is exactly what he did. The installation is absolutely perfect. Unless it was pointed out to you, you would not know there was a camera present. there is no sign of any wiring, and the use of the hard wire kit, which Charlotte said I needed to buy, (universal pack, only £6.00, just make sure it has the correct connector to fit in your camera), meant that there is no unsightly cable plugged into the lighter socket.
Well worth the fitting fee.

⭐ 1-Star Review: Extremely Poor Customer Service and Unprofessional Handling

We had an appointment with RS Connect arranged through Nextbase, and the entire experience was incredibly disappointing. The day before, they emailed to say the engineer would arrive in the morning. By midday, with no update, we called and were told we were “next.” Hours later—at 4pm—they finally rang to say the engineer was sick and couldn’t attend.

Instead of trying to accommodate the fact that we had already taken a day off work, they pushed us to the back of the queue and offered an inflexible appointment six days later. When we explained the inconvenience, their response was essentially, “We didn’t ask you to take a day off.” That attitude alone says everything about their approach to customer service.

They then acted as though offering an appointment three weeks later was doing us a favour. At no point did they take responsibility or show any willingness to help resolve the situation. They even told us that because we didn’t have a direct contract with them, we should complain to Nextbase instead—which we did.

To make matters worse, they followed up with another rude email claiming they had offered earlier dates, which simply wasn’t true. It came across as a defensive attempt to shift blame rather than acknowledge their own poor communication and understaffing.

Overall, RS Connect demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, flexibility, and customer care. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with them.

Arranged an appointment with them after completing a proforma. Good price for their service and arrived on time and fitted dashcam and then ran through how to work it and maintain it. Very helpful and great service and would throughly recommend using this company

Arrived in time and did an amazing job. He Hadn’t fitted the type of cameras we have before but took his time and got it fitted without too much trouble.
Would definitely recommend these to fit your dash cam!

Marc fitted our hard wired front and rear dash cams today. His attention to detail was superb and he went above and beyond to make sure the cables were hidden and trunked through the car. Would definitely recommend him for being knowledgeable, friendly and for giving advice about our dashcam.

Engineer was very helpful and took care of the specific requirements with my vehicle. Clean installation with everything back as it should be.

MARC the fitter was very polite and considerate to how he fitted the tracker. He had hood product knowledge and fully explained everthing in good detail. It was raining quite heavy outside and was aware of rain getting inside the campervan, so he made sure that everything was wiped down. It was cold outside, and he welcomef a cuppa and biscuit. His service was excellent and he even arribed bang on the agreed time. Nothing bad to say here.... thankyou
