As an international student coming from India, finding accommodation in the UK was quite stressful for me at first. I was worried about trusting online viewings and booking a room from another country. However, my experience with Rooms and Pads has been truly reassuring.
Since I was in India, my sister attended the virtual viewing in the UK on my behalf, and I was honestly so relieved to see that the room was exactly the same as shown. There were no surprises, and everything matched the description perfectly.

I had an amazing experience staying in this lovely room in London. The place was spotless, stylishly decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept like a baby every night.
The location is fantastic — close to public transport, shops, and great restaurants, yet quiet enough to relax after a busy day exploring the city. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host was excellent: fast, friendly, and helpful.
I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, tea and coffee, and a guide to the neighborhood. It really felt like a home away from home.
Highly recommended — I would definitely stay here again!

Fabio was very helpful when I moved into my first flat in a London. He was extremely helpful both in sorting out the administrative work for the flat and helping when I first moved into the place. He was consistently very communicative with me throughout the process. And always seemed to go above and beyond to assist me when I had troubles.

Avoid at all costs. They won’t show you the room as the room either doesn’t exist or is terrible. Don’t sign anything before you see the property!!

We provide full property details, photos/videos, contracts, and company information before any payment, and viewings (in person or virtual) are always available. No client is ever required to proceed unless they are fully comfortable.

That a complete scum. They promise you amazing rooms/flats, and then you find a horrible, expensive place. I saw the amazing flat pics, I asked them to give me really nice place, I payed £255 in advance, and they didn't want me to see that flat before signing the contract(I live in London)I insist, and I find a horrible place. Noone give me back my money, I asked many time. So,please,don't ever work with them. (I'm still trying to get my money back((

However, we would like to clarify the facts for transparency.
The property in question was fully advertised with real photos and detailed information. The room was available for viewing prior to move-in, and no client is ever required to proceed if they are not comfortable.
In this particular case, the concern raised at check-in was that the room “felt smaller than expected.” We understand that perception can differ from photographs, which is why we provide photos, videos, measurements, and in-person viewings whenever requested.
Regarding payments: the £255 paid was a holding deposit, which reserves the room and removes it from the market in line with UK letting regulations. As clearly stated in the signed agreement, holding deposits are non-refundable if the tenant chooses not to proceed after reservation.
We do not advertise properties that do not exist, and we do not retain funds outside of agreed contractual terms.
