I recently completed my 200 hr. TTC at Rishikesh Yogis Yogshala, and recommend it very highly. I have been practicing yoga (asanas) for 8+ years and was looking for a program to take my practice to the next level and help me to teach / share with others at the same time. This program was recommended to me by 2 of my teachers and turned out to be an excellent choice, so wanted to share my experience.
The RYY program is outstanding -- well organized and structured, taught by very knowledgeable (world class!) teachers with deep expertise, able to accommodate beginners yet expand the practice of seasoned practitioners, has a class size that allowed each of us to engage with the teachers and learn from each other, good food and accommodations. At the same time, it exceeded my expectations in a number of ways (a) the why of yoga – I came away with a much deeper understanding of yoga philosophy that has enabled me to both internalize and communicate working towards peace and harmony (b) it is based on an embodied yoga practice that will build and sustain my practice over the long term (c) an overall experience that truly refreshed and enriched.
The embodied yoga practice that is taught there in addition to traditional practices, is an amazing and distinctive ideology that allows each of us to build and develop our own practice in alignment with our body and mind. It enables us to get the most out of our practice, regardless of different / changing body types, strength and flexibility levels, experience and needs over time.
Many thanks to all the teachers and my fellow students for the wonderful experience. I am planning to be back shortly for the 300 hr. TTC to continue on my yoga journey.

Stepping into this school felt like stepping into a sanctuary of wisdom, knowledge and inspiration. The dedication to excellence and the pursuit of mastery here is truly heartwarming.

I did a 300h teacher training here and I am beyond grateful for the experience! The teachers are not only very knowledgeable, but also very authentic and committed to the yoga path. Their teachings are always profound with a very caring and warm attitude towards the students. I felt very much taken care of and also found the classes respected the individual abilities of the body very much, which helped me feel good and stable in my body all the time. Also the meditation and pranayama classes were so helpful to get into a deeper understanding and elevating step by step the practice. I also loved how the embodied Yoga brought a fluid and health centered approach while still being absolutely rooted in the yoga tradition. In short: I absolutely recommend this school to everyone who is looking for a profound training in a respectful and caring atmosphere.

I love, love, loved this experience! I did a month long teacher training in Rishikesh and it was life changing✨ All of the teachers were incredibly knowledgeable and have a large amount of wisdom to share. I also enjoyed that there were multiple teachers and that every teacher had something unique to give. Uttam opened my eyes to the world or Pranayama. Parveen has such grace in his movements unlike I’ve ever seen before coupled with an immense knowledge of the yogic philosophies. Louis is unmatched! He has taught me a better understanding of the body in such a fun matter. He’s is completely genuine and the real deal! Finally we have Naman, this was a great bonus, I had no clue I would learn kirtan and it was so rewarding. I can now actually sing mantras by heart! I have nothing but positive things to say about these teachers and my experience. ✨💕Namaste

The teachers were very good, they are knowledgeable and answer all the students' questions. The program was super complete, I learned so much! I am already recommending this program to friends and people that are interested in yoga.

I got to spend 23 days at the Rishikesh Yogis Yogshala during the 200-Hour YTT and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the school!
The atmosphere at the school is so warm and inviting, creating the perfect environment for deepening my practice.
The instructors are so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and their guidance made each session incredibly insightful and enjoyable. They provide such in-depth explanations that we learn a lot about our body's response.
What's even more amazing is how all the classes at the yoga school are interconnected. Each class builds upon the previous one, creating a seamless flow of knowledge and practice. This interconnectedness allows you to deepen your understanding and experience of yoga in such a meaningful way.

My time spent in Rishikesh for my 200hr YTT was incredible in every way. The teachers and facilitators were amongst the most generous, kind and knowledgeable humans I've ever encountered. And the most patient (!) giving so much space and support for our group navigating our first India experience there. Every day was an immersive journey into all things yoga — from movement, pranayama to philosophy. I truly can't recommend Yoga Sadhana enough and hope to be back very soon again to continue deepening my yoga journey ♥️

Soy Nahomi Bonilla, soy mexicana y tuve la oportunidad de cursar las Certificaciones de Yoga de 200 y 300 horas y la experiencia fue muy satisfactoria y significativa para mi formación profesional y humana. La planeación didáctico-metodológica es apropiada a los saberes desarrollados en cada una de las certificaciones. La propuesta educativa es innovadora y propositiva, las enseñanzas están equilibradas ya que abarcan las distintas dimensiones del Yoga.
Asimismo, como los aprendizajes se adquieren a través de la experiencia estos son muy significativos para quienes estamos interesados en profundizar en el camino del Yoga. Aunado a lo anterior, el enfoque educativo que los profesores tiene es un enfoque holístico e integral, que toma en cuenta las características y condiciones de cada uno de los estudiantes.
Finalmente, y no menos importante, me gustaría resaltar que los profesores cuentan con una excelente formación ya que pude apreciar que tienen los conocimientos y la experiencia para trasmitir los distintos saberes que una formación de esta naturaleza requiere.

I am grateful to the team for the 200 hour yoga teacher training course (TTC) which was a transformative journey that not only deepened my understanding of yoga but also fostered personal growth and self-awareness.

What truly set this TTC apart was the emphasis on the holistic approach to yoga with yoga philosophy, anatomy, hatha, embodied movement, pranayama and meditation techniques.

The instructors were exceptional—knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to the art and science of yoga. They were not only teachers but also mentors who were deeply invested in the success and well-being of each student.

If you are looking for an authentic and high quality yoga school in Rishikesh, look no further than Rishikesh Yogis and Yoga Sadhana. I completed my 200H YTTC in January 2024 and already looking forward to November to go to the same school for an additional 300H YTTC. The quality of their teachings is top level, delivered in an approachable way for anyone from a beginner to an advanced practitioner. We had 5 different teachers (Parveen, Uttam, Naman, Sourav, and Ritesh), each an expert in their own subject. The teachers are very well known in the yoga world, and they share vastly valuable wisdom with humbleness and grace. They teach yoga from an embodied/functional approach; and if you are not sure what this means, I suggest reaching out to the school and getting information as to their style of teaching in advance.

Rishikesh Yogis Yogshala is an authentic Yoga school where to attend your YTT. Teachers are passionate, kind, very knowledgeable and always present for any need/explanation. The learning methodology is excellent, and it will allow you to learn a lot in a multicultural, professional but also relaxed environment. Do not hesitate, this is the right school where to explore your inner self and learn all that you need to become a yoga teacher. Completing my 200 hours YTT at Yogis Yogshala in Rishikesh, India, under the guidance of Parveen and Uttam was truly transformative. A very well organised 200hrs TTC! All the teachers are very experienced and also very knowledgeable. I had the most amazing experience and learnt so much from each one of the teachers who have helped me with my own spiritual journey and to find peace within myself and with others.
The venue is serene with a very peaceful atmosphere. The warmth of the sun, the sounds of birds, animals and all the people within and around the complex made me feel very welcome!

I attended an incredible yoga course that left me feeling profoundly grateful. The teachers were exceptionally kind, and their teaching method was excellent. Each day felt like a fulfilling journey, and even as a beginner, I found it easy to keep up with the experienced participants. The instructors' vast experience shines through as they beautifully delve into yoga, pranayama, and anatomy. The serene location added to the overall sense of tranquility, making it a truly grateful and fulfilling journey. A truly enriching experience that I highly recommend.

My experience at Yoga Sadhana's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course was nothing short of exceptional. The instructors are not just experts in their respective fields, but they are also profoundly insightful and inspiring individuals. They truly embody the virtues of wisdom, compassion, and strength, both in their teachings and their everyday actions. The course itself was exactly what I had hoped for—a well-rounded, non-dogmatic, and immensely practical curriculum that has fully equipped me to launch my own teaching career and to sit deeper into my own practice. I'm excited to share that I will be leading my very first yoga class next week, just shortly after completing the course.

The faculty's commitment to their students became overwhelmingly evident when I fell ill shortly after the course concluded. I was still in Rishikesh at the time, and they rushed to my aid without hesitation, ensuring I received the medical care and support I needed. To me, this act speaks volumes about the instructors' integrity and reinforces the high caliber of this program.
