Absolute waste of time and money. Getting your shoes repaired makes perfect sense in so many ways, but the Revivo service is a joke. Apparently my shoes were repaired and posted back to me via a cheap... Zobacz więcej

Utterly terrible customer service, I am nearly a month waiting for a phone call and a resolution to the issue of buying and returning two pairs of faulty boots where the sole came away from the main shoe within one wear each. Having bough Vivo before I hoped this would be a good experience but I don't think I have ever had such consistently bad service.
I've been wearing vivo shoes for around 17 years or so. I bought my first pair from a Terra Plana store in Brighton, and for many years they have been the only brand I and my family wear.
I had a vegan Scott boot that had developed a hole in the heal of the left foot (it happens to all my shoes) and I finally decided after a couple of years to get it fixed.
I was nervous given the negative reviews and horror stories that some reviewers have had, but I took the plunge and paid for the full upgrade at £80. I did this mid-November, got a mail confirming receipt by the boot repair company on 22 Nov and received them on 4th December. Really quick, no hassle, and it's great to have these old boots back in great condition. I have other pairs I'll send in and will leave a review after each future experience.
Had my trusty loved 2022 Magna Forest ESC refurbished (new sole etc).
Easy send off link with Royal Mail collect and label from front door, acknowledged receipt email from Revivo received.
Turnaround time was less than 2 weeks delivered. On inspection the fantastic new Michelin sole was well replaced, stitched and glued well. A new Revivo insert added.
Being super picky - the broken material 'heel pull-on-strap' was repaired/restitched rather than straps replaced, and the laces replaced but not with the original Magna Forest style (which are superior and different to brown standard Vivo boot laces).
Anyhow, these are honestly tiny issues in the big picture of what the brand is doing wrt sustainability - despite the challenges and expectations of putting themselves in this refurbishing market where many clients want miraculously almost a new pair of shoes back for a refurbished price. It's a difficult space to play in for any brand, so kudos to them!!
For me £80 pounds was well spent and gave my absolute favourites a new lease of life.
Well done Vivo and Revivo!
After many photos sent to Revivo to check that my precious Vivo boots were appropriate for the resole service I was reassured and sent my boots off and then received them back. After the resole service they are now in a very poor condition and unwearable. There are many gaps where the soles are not glued to the upper. The upper leather has been cut above where the sole attaches so that there are areas where the top layer of leather has been removed and there is now the suede layer exposed. The sole attachment at the heel is completely different on each boot, one neat, one with rough leather edges. Areas of stitching on the upper have been cut through and left with loose threads. Revivo have suggested I return the boots to the same company for them to repair them for free. I am waiting for the details of what and how they propose to repair the boots - this would be the same company, The Boot Repair Company, who have damaged the boots in the first place! There seems to be no quality control by the company, no apology for the awful quality of work - be very wary!
My advice is to absolutely avoid Revivo at all costs - such a shame since I've been buying Vivo Barefoot for many years, and had always associated the brand with high quality. The customer service is terrible.
I ordered a pair of 38s for my son, and we were sent the wrong size - two sizes too small! Instead of admitting their mistake and trying to remedy the situation straightaway, they just told me to send them back and wait up to 14 days for a refund. So, in the meantime, I have one disappointed child whilst the correct size that we had actually ordered sells out - or I pay out twice...not ok, Revivo - why on earth did you send the wrong size out?.. seems like I'm not the only one with this experience.
After reading the reviews I was very worried about using this company to re sole my favourite Vivo Boots (now 12 years old with disintegrating soles but otherwise in great nick).
So I rang them to see if the customer service is okay. And it was - I got straight through to a very nice person, clearly UK based, who reassured me that all would be okay and that they are not inundated with complaints.
So I am going to send in my beloved boots and will update here on how things go.
Forgot to update here - Apols. The boots came back very quickly with new soles and laces and looking fine. Wore them all winter 24 and was very happy that they appear to have a new lease of life. Will certainly use again. Many thanks Revivo.
Truly the worse customer service ever, you are just literally unable to contact anyone. They sell shoes that cost way more than an average shoe, you pay shipment, return and you don't get customer service. Really, what does the customer get? Only the happy path is worth it, as soon as you have a question or minimum concern, you won't be able to talk to anyone or being helped.
I’ve had two pairs of boots resoled and refreshed over the past year. The first ones came back great and I’m very happy with them.
The second pair came back with piping missing, the soles not glued on correctly and stitching loose!
They were returned after a back and forth for days with customer services.
When they returned they were better but still missing the piping and glue residue around the uppers. The soles started to come away again after two wears.
After the usual back and forth with customer services they agreed to refund me or have them repaired again.
I asked for a refund, to which they said they would contact me once the refund had been processed.
Today I received an email stating that my case had been closed!!!!
I absolutely love vivobarefoot footwear but I feel the “ticket” system for customer services fails on all grounds, the revivo service falls short by a long way too. My advice? By vivos but perhaps don’t bother tryingng to get them repaired by “their team of trusted repairers”
As for the refund?? Who knows, I won’t hold my breath
I have had vivo trainers for a couple of years and decided to pay for the full repair option, £80. It was easy to send the trainers, you get a label to return the trainers.
My trainers had a worn sole and material inside was torn/worn in several locations.
I waited over 4 weeks for my trainers to be returned and the standard and quality of the repair is very disappointing. The sole on both trainers is not fully sealed and has detached in several locations. Doesn't look like a professional repair. looks like someone has spent 2mins repairing these.
The material inside was repaired at the heal section, but the material used is nothing like what is on the original shoe, very strange.
There are rips on inside of my trainers that have not been fixed. Doesn't appear to have been cleaned as stated on website.
Overall really disappointed with the poor quality of repair.
I would not recommend using revivo service to repair.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!
I have bought 3 pairs of shoes/ boots from revivo and have been delighted every time.
I have had no issues with sizing, (I check on vivo barefoot what the sizing for the particular shoe/ boot is and order accordingly).
I have bought various different conditions and have been unable to find any signs of ware.
One time my order was cancelled as it was out of stock but I just ordered the next condition available.
I think this is a great Idea and I love all my purchases keep up the good work.
I have bought five pairs of vivobarefoot in the last month . My lodger who wears them recommended them due to my fallen arch in my right foot which I had been wearing Vionics with Arch support for several years . I am so grateful for this recommendation as my right foot is now out of constant pain from my fallen arch and the trainers, boots and shoes I've bought are all super comfortable and look great on . I would definitely recommend vivobarefoot and revivobarefoot .
Utterly inferior product with a £70 price tag. Pull the plug on this business idea Revivo- you ain't kidding anyone.
Their products are goods and original,i usually order and then i pay after delivery, thats why i trust this online shopping,
Glad its not just me!
Ordered the boots I'd been after for ages.
Just received an email telling me they'd cancelled my order and refunded me. No reasons given, but urging me to reorder! Website showing they still have the boots in my size and selected colour, but not a clue as to why they cancelled my order.
Why no contact number for customer service? Is there any customer service?
Bitterly disappointed as need these boots for work, and was so looking forward to receiving them any day now.
What an absolute shambles.
A total shower
Wrong boots received, no contact number for customer services
£17 to get them and send them back
Beware of the return costs
£102 spent, £84.95 refunded
You have to use thier courier at over £10 to return boots.
I should have read all of the other negative reviews before wasting my time and money
Stick to a reputable company
I paid £80 for a full repair. I wore them about 10 times but over 6 months as I have many pairs and the sole already separated from the main shoe. Out of warranty so they offered me a bull**** voucher off a purchase of new shoes rather than fixing the problem. What a waste of £80
Ordered my usual Vivobarefoot size, but shoes were much bigger and needed to be returned. Returns process is a nightmare - DHL, costs £10.35 (more than I paid in postage in the first place?! how does that work!) and they won't collect ('Courier pickup cannot be scheduled for an import shipment') so I have to trek to my nearest DHL location to drop it off. So it's cost me a total of £17.35 in postage for some shoes that were bigger than they should be in the first place. Customer service also haven't got back to me when I questioned this, over a week ago. Wanted to do the environmentally friendly thing and buy shoes that had been revived but this whole experience is absolutely not worth it, such a shame.
I wanted to share my positive experience. So, I had to contact the customer support team, because DHL informed me that I was supposed to pay 148€ in duty fees right before delivery. I contacted revivo right away and they solved the issue in about a week.
After I got the shoes and I had to return them and get a different size. The return process was straightforward and easy to follow, I used their DHL option which costs around 26€ (discounted from the refund, which is something they can improve). I received my new shoes in about a week after ordering again and the refund for the first pair in about 10 days after returning them.
The shoes themselves were in “excellent” state and look like they were brand new.
Over all a good experience. Thanks to Fardosa and Tharsini from the support team.
I’m afraid my ongoing experience with Revivo reflects many of the reviews here: extremely poor. The chat function is an untrained bot that provides no meaningful information. WhatsApp messages are routinely ignored. The Revivo contact form lists a phone number that connects you to a German speaker, who alas did not work for Revivo. Returns are opaque, costly, and tedious. I really do not think I will purchase from the company again given how poor the service is, which is a great shame as I love the shoes. Given their cost, Revivo should do much much better.
Quality was terrible and the size sent was wrong. Bare in mind P&P was expensive to receive the shoes, I then found there was no choice but to use the "discounted" DHL service which is £10.50 to return the shoes!! I sent 3 emails over 3 weeks asking for the return address (and to use royal mail- cheaper and tracked!) And NOTHING. They have no customer service. Still stuck with the wrong shoes. Horrible. Nice idea, but it's just a way for a company to resell your old second hand shoes to make loads of money out of you.
