The company didn’t tell me they’d farm the move out to a third party. The movers they hired, Easy Movers from the Chicago area, lost, damaged or destroyed (stole ?) over $5,000 of my property. They assumed no responsibility and told me my only recourse was with the company I didn’t hire! Of course that company has done nothing to locate my missing items or process my claim. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you value your property and want it delivered.

I am posting this publicly. I was told by Christopher Mitchell a Senior Relocation Specialist that we would be able to get a full refund if we told them within a few weeks of the pick up date. I called and cancelled our move because the Military is moving us. I was told to send accounting an email because they handle all refunds. I sent them an email on Nov 8th at 11:09am after I sent Chris an email on Nov 4th. I only found out when I talked to costumer service that I couldn't get in contact with Chris by phone or email because after they make the deal, the relocation specialist numbers and email are blocked from the costumer reaching back out to them.

So, from Nov 8th, I have made 4-5 phone calls and an email regarding my refund. Every phone call the costumer service agent said someone will contact me by the end of the day, Today is Nov 16th and I have still yet to get in contact with anyone from this company. This is very poor costumer service and a horrible way for a business to operate. I find it deeply sad that this is how this company treats it's potential clients and a 20 year retired military vet. I will call again after I right this review. If I do not hear anything from them, I will be contacting my bank and the BBB about them. I will be talking to a lawyer filing civil suit.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LYING COMPANY!!!

Representative made false statements over the phone that contradicted what was in the fine print. I called back to cancel immediately, was told accounting would refund me. I kept calling and they kept telling me the same thing for days. Today they claimed they did not have to refund me because they "booked a carrier" when I asked for the name of the carrier, they told me in order to receive that information, I would need a subpoena. They also do not have a list of carriers on their website which is a violation of law. I encourage anyone else who has experienced similar, to please file complaints with FTC, AG, DOT, BBB, Police Dept.

Never book with them; they are not trustworthy.

Here is my story: I was googling to find a mover. Search results returned 2movers.com as one of the results. I called the number listed on their website, and I reached Relocation Nation Moving customer center. Not sure how my call ended up there.

During my call, they convinced me to pay $1200 and reserve the move and told me that I could cancel the reservation within the next 48 hrs for a full refund for any reason. They also made me digitally sign some documents.

Due to an unexpected reason, I had to cancel the reservation in the next 3 hours. And when I contacted, the rep told me that the accounting team would contact me and issue a full refund.

A day later, their accounting team emailed and told me they would not issue a refund because they had the carrier assigned for my move minutes after the payment was processed.

I agree it was my mistake not reading the return policy and just trusting the salesperson, but a good business will never trick you nor charge you for a service they did not do.

BEWARE! Frauds! absolutely the worst company to hire if you expect any service or receive any of your belongings. They gave us an estimate of 5k, after making 3K in payments at time of booking they showed up on moving day and wanted 9K additional, regardless that we had measured and confirmed everything on our list with them 3 times before the move. We lost most of my deceased mother's belongings and I was informed by Olivia who claimed she was the owner of the company that as my mother-in-law was dead she would not miss it! We lost heirlooms as we did not have the highjacked amount readily available. We lost everything, they moved 15 small boxes and 2 dressers for 5k. It's been 15 days and we have no idea where our remaining belonging are and no one will assist in their customer service department. On an already difficult experience, they have made it even more traumatic and have no plan to help in any way. Stay AWAY

Absolute worst. Moved my daughter to across country from East Coast to West. Absolute nightmare. Even though we had under 260 cu ft of items (measured & photographed) they insisted we had to pay for 300 cu ft adding additional cost. (After items were loaded on the contracted movers truck). Then they charged us extra for putting a blanket on a mirror that arrived broken anyway. Knowing that an 18 wheeler would not fit down the street as previously disclosed to mover, they ignored, and sent it anyway. Only to collect additional $300 charge for moving in a smaller truck which we initially requested. They lost a large box containing kitchen items ie coffee maker, blender, etc. Absolutely horrible, horrible experience. Look elsewhere.

This company is the worst example of mismanagement, lying, scamming and shady business practices that I have ever seen in my life. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! I was promised repeatedly by customer representative that my items would be delivered in 2 weeks and 3 weeks at the most. I am moving 1500 cubic feet and paying $12,500, for expedited service. I was promised repeatedly (by 4 separate people) that my things would get delivered in 2 weeks. It has now been almost 6 weeks, and no one knows where my things are, and no one can tell me when they will be delivered. I have been lied to for 6 weeks, every week that my things are being loaded and will be on their way. They STOLE my things, and there is no evidence that I will ever give them back.

I read all the negative reviews. I discussed them with the broker. He did a good job convincing me the horror stories could not happen to me. I signed the dotted line The pick up date and container size changed 2 times. The price doubled. The delivery time frame went from 1 week to 30 business days. my stuff was picked up in Ca. on 9/12 and still has not even left the state with no delivery time frame being provided at this time. Every horror story reported has happened to me I am out a significant amount of money and am without our things. Sleeping on the floor of the apartment with no furniture, no cooking items, nothing. They are saying things may not be delivered until the end of October. The only explanation they offer...the original van broke an axle, we don't have any more vans that size so you need to pay for a bigger van unless you can wait 3 weeks. We have no control over when items get delivered. they have 30 business days. (they told me initially as we rented an entire van 6 days, then 21 business days now 30 business days) Just incredible that they are ok treating people this way and are ok taking our money and leaving us hanging. I read the reviews....I let them convince me it would all be ok. It isn't ok. It will never be ok to be treated this way. For life to be put on hold, for belongings to be held hostage. I encourage you all to read the reviews and believe them.

Please NEVER even try to do any business with them, Brandon, Bill the manager, and Jessica the inventory specialist, Mia the customer service is there to put you in a trap and would never ever give you the service they promise at the beginning to get you into their business trap. BE AWARE of this company. When I booked my service with them they said the medium size box will be 2ft x 2ft x 2ft, I can pack it into that size of the box. When the inventory specialist calls you they start making their own size and shape, by that time you are already in their trap. Forget about the situation when they come to pick up your items. Another story will come into place and another trap. AND all traps are related to money, money, and money. They know ALL possible ways how to squeeze money out of your pocket. Even they try to make money when dropping off.

Beware! Called and spoke to a representative from this company and received a quote for moving. Stated I needed to sign and pay deposit to hold price. Was told there was a 48 hour cancellation policy. Signed and paid $1900 deposit but tried to cancel a day later. Their cancelation policy states that they have a 48 hour cancelation policy, but where they scam you is the sentence that states that if they assign a moving company within that 48 hours it is considered "services rendered" and you lose on deposit if you try and cancel. When I tried to cancel 24 hours after paying deposit they said that they had already assigned my move to a mover and therefore I was unable to get my money back. When I asked for proof of this assignment (because they did not notify me that the move had been assigned) they gave me a company name and customer service number. I called this number and they did not have any information on me or my move. When I called back to customer service at Relocation Nation, they said "they had a signature and everything" of the assignment to this company but would not email me proof of said signature/assignment. I am now out $1900 and they have no remorse for what they are doing to people.

Worst company I have had for moving. They give my contract to third party company and refuse to take responsibility. They hide hidden cost , like on day of moving they told us certain items will have extra charged like recliner etc.It has been close to month I still dont have a date of delivery. And I am worried that my stuff will be demaged when it will arrive.

As far as I can tell this is a fake company. I received 2 different estimates from them for moving. When I texted this company back that I was going with someone else I was texted back that I was stupid, they said I was getting scammed and to call them back for rescue services. Look for them on google maps.

This company is a CON they bring you in with a good deal. 5 days before they were to move me they called and said that the amount was wrong and that it would be more then double the price. Which left me with no option. I asked to cancel and return my $2500.00 deposit they (Jessica) told me its non refundable just read your contract. Please don’t be fooled by these people they want to CON you.

Please do not use this company!!! They literally promised me the world and got me so excited about my move from Los Angeles to Frisco, TX. Only to give me the smallest window of time for the move at the last minute. They are not a moving company they are a broker. One of the reps even told me they were a moving company and not a broker - that was lie on moving day. Their dispatch reps are coarse and unflexible and generally very unprofessional. They lied about who I should contact if I had any issues. The guy literally faked a meeting to be unavailable. They were totally unwilling to work with my schedule. I put down a $500.00 deposit and because I could not work it into the schedule they provided I lost it. Please don't use this company and read your contract and don't pay them using a check portal...

These people are thieves and scammers. They will tell you that they will move you on a certain date and never show up. Then they'll keep your deposit claiming it's non refundable. Any of these 5 star reviews I'd bet my money on that they are fake.

Nothing but LIES!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Mike Anderson promised he would be our moving specialist and there to answer any questions for us along the way. That was Lie #1 because we never heard from Mike again after we signed the contract, despite repeated phone calls. Lie # 2, And perhaps the biggest one of all, The move would take 3 to 10 days but up to maybe two weeks… This was two months ago and we still don’t have our belongings! Lie #3… our stuff would be moved onto a truck and then headed across the country, our belongings were taken to a warehouse which has been undisclosed it’s probably easier to find area 51 than it is to find our belongings. Lie # 4… every time we call we say we will have an update on where our stuff is at this never happens!!! Lie #5 the Quality control inventory specialist would get an updated accurate list of our belongings to be moved, within 48 hours of the move… Somehow we’ve added our inventory to 50% and they need several thousand dollars more. You see you get locked in at the price per cubic foot they quote you at… since they can’t change the price they will just add more and more cubic feet To increase the cost of the move. Don’t waste your time with this company they’ll feed you nothing but lies. If you read any reviews that tell you they had a great experience, it most likely is a FAKE review. Find me on Facebook and message me, lets put this SCAM to an END!

Consumer beware! This company is unfathomably unprofessional. Save your money and hire someone else. They are not a moving company, they are a moving broker that is making money for being a middle man. When their assistance is needed during a job they set up, you will be ghosted. Left to fend for yourself paying extra to make things happen and possible when your on site and they aren't. They may ignore any means of communication. Never mind if and when the names and threats start when you finally reach them. Please use the neighbors kids or something, anyone else really.

These guys were excellent! I had very little time to arrange my move, and I was afraid that I would not be able to find anyone on such short note. Not only they were able to do the job on short notice - they were fast, careful, and professional all around. They went above and beyond and even strengthen down some loose screws in one of my tables. I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

STOP NOW GO Elsewhere, Literally ANYWHERE Else..
I have a multitude of Complaints TO start with the 1st phone call full of Lies and deception My Rep Hugo said anything even pointed out in the contract that the price couldn't go up. Everything about their site says they are the moving company, They are not they are a Broker and will give your contract to Anyone, Even without a license or authority to move your belongings.

I was told 5-14 Days for Delivery however could be sooner than 5 days Not later than 14. My belongings were picked up JUNE 29th, Today AUG 7th I still do not have my belongings. They dodge my calls and the company that was hired just received their license JULY 26th, Almost a month after my things were picked up. The company that has my belongings keeps disconnecting their phone numbers.

Day of Inventory- Tried to Up charge 2000 to add in couches that HUGO stated he added at no cost, I had to remove several items from my inventory to get the extra cost down to 538$. As I was only Budgeted for the cost I signed for, the cost That was pointed out in the contract as it could not go up. Was 4$ per Sq foot. Inventory day I was charged 538 for only 20 Sq ft extra.

Next day Movers Came - Stated they needed an additional 2200$ to take just what was on my inventory, That Relocation Nation did not account for the extra Sq ft it takes to wrap up and box the belongings. Also that my original bid was way undershot with SQFT. I assume this was on purpose as when I asked to cancel they were going to Keep my Deposit of 1847$. Having no other choice I had to continue, The moving company then left priceless items behind that I cannot replace.

Hugo Misrepresented the Insurance at up to 10,000 per item, In fact it is only .60c per lb up to 10,000$. I was not given a wt receipt, They threw in an estimated wt at loading and if my items do not come ill only receive their Best guess...

Everything about my move has been an issue, I have reported multiple complaints and written customer care as per contract states and only been told "you signed the Contract " I am out thousands of dollars replacing items needed for survival as I along with 3 teenagers have been camping out in our home for over a month waiting on our furniture, Not to mention physical pain as a direct result of not having appropriate place to sleep. This along with countless hours wasted attempting to get this company to only do what they stated they would in the beginning.

There's so much more from horrible customer service to being hung up on, LIED to, yelled at, and the list goes on.

Save yourself the headache, Heartache, and tears. Go SOMEWHERE else.

This is a moving broker, NOT a moving company. That whole industry is well-known for scamming. Case in point: Relocation Nation claims to have a "refund" policy, but in the contract fine print, they say a refund is actually just a credit.

They were horrible to deal with.
