We went to see A quiet place 2 in Chorley. It seemed nice and clean and decent seats and screen. However half way through the film 2 of the staff came in and if they were watching the film that would have been fine but one chubby bloke sat next to me and my friend then went back down after about 10 seconds and then they both stared up at us for about 15 minutes. Very off putting, couldn’t keep up with the plot as they made us feel like we were in a zoo and I felt like shouting “what are you staring at!!!” Not going to go again because now I feel like I need to watch the film again because their staring put me off so much!

Superb local cinema and a real nice experience for the family.

I love the chorley cinema the staff are always helpful and I go as much as I can its great to have a cinema in chorley. The seat are good and its reasonably price so I get snacks ass well . I hope they stay open thought this covid

Pick and mix, ridiculously priced stale!!! Huge disagreement withe assistant .Paid online for tickets and childs ages were questioned,this had never been a problem before!! child gave his date of birth but still shook her head.The 2 assistants stood debating childs age, was then told they would let it go this time and printed off tickets.I reminded her that the child was mine and i knew age, i was then told i was rude and said they couldnt now watch the film.It was like something out of the playground.After much debate, i asked for refund which took a long long time as they couldnt operate the till.

To keep it short and sweet, no parking, at all, as in they don’t have a car park, the closest car park has a 2 hour max stay no return, so I had to leave my movie early to avoid a fine. Film started at 12:10 collected tickets at 12, got directed to our screen, walked in to find people in our seats and adverts already started, after a few minutes someone advised us this wasn’t an advert, it was a movie that had started 30 minutes late, so after that embarrassment we had to wait outside the screen for 30 minutes. The “sweet” popcorn was just normal, the Pepsi was literally soda water with a splash of Pepsi, so yeah a waste of £60. All 3 of my children were disappointed. How ever, what I did see of the film was good so thumbs up for having a working screen at least 👍

Great Value with super cheap tickets on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. The seats are uncomfortable though.

Just been to see the latest Star Wars saga at the NEW Chorley Reel Cinema. Staff were great. Food warm and fresh, good prices And the cinema had that brand new feel and smell about it. In fact it had a REEL good feel about it (see what I did there)... It’s great Chorley now has a cinema again, I just hope people use it in the long term. All in all a good night.

One of our children was taken ill 10 minutes into a performance. We dashed out as you do and managed not to contaminate any of fixtures or fittings. Asked the manager for an empty popcorn box to catch any puke on way home but they are part of stock. I offered to buy one but said not got a price. What do you want it for... to catch Puke on way home. Dire customer service...

I purchased 15 pounds worth of sweets from pick n mix which were all rock hard we asked for a refund as we tried several which were all hard and there were a lot left ! My response : “ we don’t give refunds “
No apology etc
So basically don’t buy sweets at the Fareham one !

Took my daughter to Burnley Reel Cinema as a birthday celebration. Bought and paid for tickets and went to the screen, only to be stopped and asked if my daughter had photographic ID. It was a 15 movie and she’d just turned 15 the day before.

Told them didnt have ID and they refused us entry. When asked for a refund and why they’d allowed us to actually pay for the tickets if they thought she didnt look old enough, the manager Claire said all I can do is swap your ticket for a different movie. Refund refused outright even though they refused us service which we paid for.

Be all and end all, Im contacting my bank to report their debit charge as fraud and requesting a chargeback.

Had to walk out of the reel cinema in port Talbot twice Jordan the assistant manager said I was lying and making things up cause I complained to head office and he said I'm only afta compensation.he made me feel uneasy and I was intimidated by him.never watched my film that I payed for and been refused a refund

Went to redeem my Sweet Sunday codes after selecting to redeem the codes for Reel cinema and could not enter my codes on the Reel website. The Sweet Sunday website let's me choose the Reel cinema I am going to so it can provide me with the codes needed to book tickets on Reel's website but on the website there is not button to redeem the codes given. Why advertise and then not support the feature? Reel only have a gift cars button and no code button. Why?

Reel Cinema in Fareham, Hants, has three machines for ticket purchases. One has been out of action for months. I tried using both of the other machines today and both failed. The first one stalled after inserting my card and entering my PIN. It sat there just saying: do not remove card. The second failed to even register that I had inserted my card at all. The contactless pads on the machines have never worked.

No one else could make the machines work either and so a huge queue built upstairs and the woefully inadequate level of staffing meant everyone was getting frustrated.

This is a real pity, because otherwise the cinema is perfectly acceptable. However, if your first experiences trying to buy a ticket either through a machine that doesn’t work or from a counter with hardly any staff, it puts you off going back again.

Reel Cinema , Quinton, West Midlands, used to be fairly priced considering it is a tired old cinema but have really hiked up ticket prices lately for no real reason , will not be back, shame .

Real down to earth, good value for money cinema. Lots of deals, especially for families. Not the fancy, premier experience but if you just want to go and see a film in relative comfort and eat reasonably priced popcorn - then result!

The scalar cinema has a lot of steps to get into the foyer if your disabled is it impossible to get in I phoned them up and ask is there another way in for disabled person to get in. Thay the said no there isn't I said what about the fire exit non that we can use they didn't seem bothered at all. there is a fire escape that you can use at the bottom the cinema to get in if they wanted to help you but obviously they don't want disabled people. We will have to go to a different cinema they're not bothered.
