right listen here they asked for id even tho we are 15 make that make sense then the man accused my brick heck of messing about for waking out the toilet offers us a new film without our freind but he didn’t want us to go so i will not be returning to your 1 start review cinema x

You can judge an organisation by how it treats customers when things go wrong - in this case when a customer makes a mistake. I booked tickets for a show at Fareham when I intended Farnham (and went to Farnham!). The staff at Farnham were very nice but unable to refund or exchange the tickets. They directed me to speak to Fareham who are refunding the tickets. Full marks for service - I will certainly use Reel again.

(I recently also visited Borehamwood where the staff were great and the film presentation likewise. Not the swankiest chain, but great people in my experience, good value and films well presented.)

The most amateur Cinema I've ever been too, I visited once in Bishop Auckland I swore I'd never go again..
First visit... Sold seats that weren't even there, I asked for a wheelchair space and one for me next to it, when I went into the cinema to find the seats on the ticket weren't even there so I sat in a space where I could put a wheelchair, I sat through all the ads to then have someone come in and I had their seat, I went to the foyer explained what happened, to be moved to another showing to sit through ads again, and the gentleman I care for angry he was moved about and disturbed, staff watched me struggle with a wheelchair and cinema snacks, I calmed down and thought maybe opening day jitters.
Second visit..... I took a gentleman I care for I asked for upfront seating I asked to leave snacks at the foyer as I needed to use the toilet I then checked the seats to find them up some steps (you could visibly see stairs weren't an option), I went back for the snacks I had to fill my drink the lids don't fit the cups properly and when applying it the flimsy cup split down the middle, after refilling my drink and very gently trying to get the lid on, picked up the drink linked arms with who I was with popcorn ect and struggled to get to the showing walking past 2 staff members no help offered. I won't be back, would rather drive to MetroCentre.

Website is atrocious for booking tickets on, simply doesnt work. Have to log in, can't continue as guest. Can't select seats as the seat layout fails to load. Best to go to another cinema, Reel aren't interested in providing a working service.

Staff were very rude and couldn’t accommodate us for arriving late for a showing stating it would irate other customers.. so what do people do where they want to go in and out for the toilet or are they not allowed as it’s disruptive ?

Chippenham Reel Cinema - not impressed or happy with the 2 Wheelchair spaces in screen 5. There are no seats next to wheelchair spaces, so my husband (in a wheelchair) basically was sat on his own.
Couldn’t have him sat by me in the back as there is a great big pillar in way, so he wouldn’t be able to 2 thirds of the screen.
We won’t be coming to this screen again.
Very disappointed.

Really comfy seats. Bright and modern foyer area. Hiwever when compared to vue it is on the pricey side.

Absolutely disappointing experience at Reel Cinema Chippenham. The upstairs screens have zero disabled access – no lift, no ramp, just a steep flight of stairs. My wife uses a wheelchair and we were basically told "sorry, those screens are inaccessible" with a shrug.
For a modern cinema in 2026, this is unacceptable and frankly discriminatory. We'll be taking our business (and our money) to venues that actually care about including all customers. Avoid the upstairs auditoriums if anyone in your group has mobility issues.

Went to The Reel today and the lady who served us was very pleasant and helpful. I think her name was Kayleen. While we were waiting to go in to see the film she was busy cleaning the floor and tidying up, making it a welcome place to be.

Went to reel port Talbot today ticket prices £21, had my own sweets and drink but was refused entry unless I returned them to car, cinema was empty, strange that 😂😂😂

Terrible service, we went to the cinemas on Sunday to watch a film and were waiting to be served for 15 minutes the staff kept walking past and ignoring our request to be served. We then asked the lady with ginger hair if she would serve us now and she spoke to us in a very rude manner. Would not recommend!

I intended to buy 2 cinema tickets online with Reel. I couldn’t do it because they insisted on having my full name, email address, home address and telephone number BEFORE I could pay for them. This is very concerning and unnecessary.

Went to Reel in Morecambe this afternoon. A freezing cold January day and there was no heating in the auditorium. A domestic fan heater was brought in which unsurprisingly made no difference. This place should not even have been open with no heating. We were extremely cold when we left after over 2 hours. Terrible experience though the film was ok.

Visited the Reel cinema in Burnley tonight and what an awful visit. Walked in and 3 members of staff on their mobile phones behind the service desk…. I asked one of them for some help and he half heartedly told me. I’d booked drinks and popcorn included and when we went in the drinks were flat and the popcorn soft. I went out and asked for a refund and the same attendant Taylor laughed in my face. He was sniggering with 2 other girls. I asked for the manager and he just pointed at him. He came over and I asked Taylor why he was laughing at me. They all just stood there. I was told by Taylor I couldn’t have a refund as I’d entered the cinema. I told him the trailers hadn’t even started yet. Eventually got a refund and we left with Taylor still sniggering with his crew …. The manager had no authority over him at all. Awful experience and still can’t believe they were all on their mobile phones as we entered the cinema. Awful people.

We went to see Materialists in Reel Cinema Blackpool, Cork City (Aug 18th, Screen 7, 6.25pm). The wheelchair space was right at the very front, far too close to the screen, and my friend couldn’t even turn his chair to the screen because of a steel barrier set in front. It was extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing for him.

When we asked if the film could be moved to a bigger screen, we were told it wasn’t possible. For someone who rarely gets out, this was very upsetting.

Wheelchair users deserve dignity and comfort, not to be stuck right under the screen with no room to move. Reel Cinemas Ltd really needs to review its facilities — this setup is not inclusive or fair.

Why am I getting billed for $22.48 on Jan. 20, 2025; $14.92 on Dec. 23; 2024; $14.62 on Dec. 09, 2024, etc.

Stop accessing my bank account for these amounts.

I am contacting my lawyer for these fraudulent withdrawals.

Freezing cold. Thin uncomfortable seats. All of the toilets were blocked.
First time I’ve being here in years, usually go to odeon but came here as cheaper. Now I know why it’s so cheap!! Won’t be coming again

Went for the first time yesterday with my Husband to see Beetlejuice 2 at Reel Cinema in Chorley.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the cinema itself was immaculately clean and the seats were really comfy with lots of leg room.

Food and drink was really reasonably priced, we ordered pizza and they delivered it to your seat! Excellent service!

The Arrogance.
Booked to watch a movie with my daughter. I arrived late, I was trying to get my qr code to show the cashier, when all he kept saying was let's move you to another booking. I was like no need I've paid and were happy to go in. His reply was how do you like the sound of twisters. I'm still trying to find this code and all he was saying was twisters in the week. Long story short I was refused entry as my daughter appeared too young. She has been to the cinema loads of times to watch 15 class movies and today she was stopped and we didn't have id. I was refused a refund and a receipt to prove I've been refused entry. This left me getting rather upset and then the manager changed his mind and put it on a plane till receipt. Not great but it was something. They really need to have a printable receipt or records book for this type of problem. Still I managed to get the telephone number of Aiden in charge of Chippenham who was most helpful and polite and agreed it could have been handled better. The best of it was whilst waiting for a lift home we watched 3 very young kids 11 or 12 at most discussing a plain on how to get in for free. Absolutely Brilliant they don't get ID and get past everyone for free. Genius kids. I was laughing at this so hard. Hopefully they got to see their movie. I was there for another 15 minutes before I left and they didn't come out.
