RED Driving School

Max Laing was my instructor and I honestly can’t thank him enough; I started my lessons at the start of august as pretty much a beginner driver; essentially only knowing how to drive around quiet cul-de-sacs, my test date was originally on the 29th august & Max was really accommodating making sure I got all my lessons in before test day & also working around my childcare arrangements. Despite being test ready I did unfortunately fail my first test due to nerves and a rather grumpy examiner, however Max reassured me that I was still ready & I have just passed with 4 minors on the 29th september!

I was especially worried about who my instructor would be and what they would be like due to being neurodivergent & having social anxiety, but Max was calm throughout and always explained where I was making mistakes without knocking my confidence.

I had a great experience being instructed by Modupe. She was very thorough and attentive during every lesson and provided me with valuable advice that ultimately helped me pass my driving test first time.

I passed my driving test in Wednesbury first time today! 🎉

A massive thank you to Anuj for being so patient, thorough and supportive throughout my lessons. I’m a very nervous driver, but he really helped build my confidence and always made me feel at ease.

Even with the nerves on test day, his advice and reassurance helped me stay calm and trust myself. I’m so grateful for all his help and would 100% recommend him, especially to anyone who feels nervous about driving. Thank you so much, Anuj!

My driving instructor Mansour helped me pass my test first time! I was very nervous as many people are but Mansour is a very patient and brilliant instructor, his directions are clear and teaching skills are brilliant and he caters his teaching style for you personally! He is also very funny and friendly! Massive thank you and I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Juliet Jones enough! She was such an amazing instructor and I’m so grateful that I had her throughout my driving lessons. She was always so patient, supportive and encouraging, even when I made mistakes or lacked confidence. She explained everything clearly and made sure I properly understood what I was doing. She always knew how to calm my nerves and made every lesson feel comfortable and positive. Thanks to Juliet’s teaching and support, I passed my driving test first time with only ONE minor! 🥹🎉 I genuinely don’t think I could have asked for a better instructor.

Passed first time with no minor faults with my instructor Mohammed Alam at Leighton Buzzard Test Centre!
My instructor was very knowledgeable, patient, calm and friendly throughout our time working together. He explained things very clearly and had no problem answering any questions or worries I had about learning to drive. I went from knowing nothing about driving, with no experience behind the wheel, to gaining knowledge, experience and confidence in driving. He was very communicative throughout and made sure I was challenged each lesson which helped with my growth and confidence. He made sure I was test-ready by the time my test was due and I am so thankful to have had an instructor who displayed patience, humour, knowledge and passion for teaching well.

My experience with red driving was top notch. The instructor, Luthfur Rahman in Aberdeen was able to guide me through unlearning old driving habits of left hand drive in my country to Uk standards. He was professional and kept on emphasising the importance of driving safely. My test was a success in my first attempt. Thank you Red driving Team…. E. Amadasun

Passed my test on thursday 2nd try at tolworth. I had amir from red driving school teach me the whole time. he was the best instructor i could ask for very helpful and a good teacher to help me learn to drive. would recommend amir highly.

SHAATHVEGAN of cambridge was one of the best instructors, super professional and good at what he does and very patient. He made driving easy and straight pass on just one attempt. Thank you mate.

Tanisha Broady was the absolute best instructor. She was phenomenal and very passionate about getting you your license. I passed with ZERO DRIVING FAULTS!!! I could not thank her enough. She was absolutely amazing, and patient. We always had fun during our lessons and i was always looking forward to the next! Thank you again Tanisha. God bless you abundantly!

I had a great experience learning to drive with Marcus. He was patient and explained everything clearly, which helped me build my driving confidence. In the lead up to my test he helped me to be well prepared, with his friendly and encouraging approach. He focused on areas for improvement so that I knew what to focus on when practising between lessons. I was thrilled to pass my test due to Marcus' excellent instruction. After I passed, I did a motorway lesson with him which really helped me on recent motorway trips.

I would definitely recommend Marcus to anyone looking for a driving instructor. Thanks for all your help!

Slawomir Tadeusz is a fantastic instructor and I had a great experience with RED overall. It was extremely easy to sign up and I was impressed with the modern standard of the cars (hasn’t always been my experience with other driving schools!). Aside from just learning how to pass the test, Slawomir ensures you also understand the fundamentals of how the car works and that you build good habits from the outset. By the time I passed my test, I felt fully comfortable behind the wheel and I was finally enjoying driving - thank you Slawomir!

I can’t recommend Shala enough! I passed my driving test today, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without her. She is such a fantastic instructor: patient, encouraging, supportive, and always made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel.

Shala explained everything so clearly and never made me feel bad when I made mistakes. She always knew exactly what I needed to work on and gave me the confidence to keep improving.

I’m so grateful for all her help, patience, and encouragement throughout my lessons. Thank you so much, Shala, for helping me achieve something I was so nervous about. I’ll always remember you as the person who helped me become a confident driver! ❤️🚗

My driving instructor Shala was a great teacher. She helped build my confidence alot and she was very patient with me. Lessons felt fun to attend to and be taught by her. I would highly recommend Shala as an instructor.

Sam has been amazing! From her first lesson when she was absolutely terrified, Sam put her at ease and before long they were chatting about cats and chickens! He has been very reliable and flexible around my daughter’s work and social commitments and her confidence has really improved throughout. I would highly recommend! Thanks Sam 😊

I want to thank my instructor James Ursell for being so amazing - I passed my test today with just 2 minors!! James helped me work through a lot of driving anxiety - it took just over a year of lessons and 2 tests due to how incredibly stressed driving made me in the start, but James has been super comforting and supportive the whole journey. He adapts the lessons and his teaching style as you need and is very reassuring, was happy to go back over things a few times when I was struggling. highly recommend this instructor. I truly don't think I could've done it without you - thank you James!!!!!!!!

shaathvegan cambridge driving instructor rocks!!!

Really happy with RED, my driving instructor Raj Rathod based in Chalfont St Peter was great and I learnt very quickly! First time pass, all thanks to him :)

had my first lesson with christopher dutton, but he was 15 minutes late on the first time. didn’t bother contacting me until the day of my first lesson which already gave me worries, but i let it go. second lesson he was late for over an hour, then only after the hour he bothered to cancel the lesson. but the lesson was only cancelled with me, not on the system, meaning the prepaid money will still be taken. he contacted me saying he will tell me other days of the week he is available, then never replied back after i double texted. DO NOT recommend this instructor.

Atia Farooqi is a fantastic instructor! She’s so kind and understanding and made driving lessons an enjoyable experience. Thank you so much Atia.
