Like too many, made this purchase based on a fake review site (strangley has rebranded again and now is Covatar. ). Cancelled my order within minutes of reading these reviews, and my order status showed "being prepared". They refused to allow me to cancel "it's already been shipped' which contradicts the order status (luckily took screen shot). It reduced humidity from 61% to 60% in 24 hours. Customer services claim this is operating correctly or I can have a refund, but I have to ship it back first. Doubt I'd see my money if I did that. Have reported them to my bank and they have stopped the payment. Raveno are now demanding I lift the dispute and willing to offer 20-40% refund via PayPal (???) if I cancel the dispute. Or get full refund if I am willing to pay for the untis return. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. And check as they change their company name every month or two. This dehumidifier is a waste of money.

I bought a dehumidifier when it came it was much smaller than expected so I tried to return it. They came up with all sorts of rubbish about having to return it to China and won't give me a refund. I have ultimately gone to my credit card company to get them to refund me.

This company used to be called DryEase, they've recently changed their name. The dehumidifier they sell is next to useless, they won't refund your money and are based in China not the UK. The positive review of their product appears to be a fake.

This company deserve zero stars. The item is no bigger than a kettle, is really noisy and doesn't remove moisture. I've bene trying to return since buying. Over a month ago now and the company have so far refused to give me their UK return address claiming I will not get my refund if I send back to the address registered on the UK website. This turns out to be a purchased registered address company who allow companies to register with HMRC despite being based outside of the UK. This one is in China. Chinese tat. Stay well away if you value your money and buy one from a know company as there are too many different brands of these on the market. Horrendous company.

Like many of my fellow reviewers here, I did not see the negative feedback until too late, and I have since drawn a blank when trying to query the Top3-reviews report on which Raveno come out No.1. No response - so presumably bogus, like all of the 5 star reviews which have been posted.
I will allow this ‘business’ one star, because their response communications were fairly prompt, given the time zone difference UK/China - although the content was comprised of the most unacceptable and absurd gibberish imaginable.
If, like me you fell into the trap of buying from this fake business - do yourself a favour, and don’t bother to open up a dialogue with them, as you will just end up angrier than you were in the first place. Go straight to your credit card company and make a Section 75 claim.

Scammers selling cheap chinese junk,the raveno is owned by non uk resident,£138 for this dehumidifier that does'nt work,they cost around £30 on alibaba.please read all trust pilot reviews before buying on line.if they offer a return you will have to pay to send back to china even though it was dispatched from uk.

I did order a dehumidifier begging of November and didn’t receive it so ordered another one which has been delivered in few days. Still haven’t got the first and already over 20 mails sent to the email they have. Same person replied to me non sense email with absolutely not usable information. It’s been said the parcel has been delivered by Royal Mail and that’s not true cause we’re abroad and no one signed for it. They don’t want to refund don’t want to deliver a parcel and I don’t really know where I can complain about this company…
By the way the product is very noisy and poor quality. Overpriced!

Ordered, then discovered the reviews. 45 minutes after ordering, I emailed to cancel it. 23 hours later the shipment was confirmed, then 20 minutes later, an email saying "We can't cancel as it's already been shipped".

Charging me £40 to have it returned, and refusing to give the full refund.
It's NOT a UK based company, it's operating under fake pretenses. All the 1 star reviews are accurate.

DO NOT BUY from Raveno.co.uk. Please, please read the trustpilot reviews on this company. Everything they say is true except for the odd fake ones clearly submitted by Raveno themselves. I am a genuine purchaser, it’s an absolutely dreadful experience and an abysmal quality product. It is not a British company, the article written by a supposed consumer expert / journalist Luke Edwards is fake, if he does exist he surely cannot have published that or consented to his name being put to it. This is a rip off scam. If like me you didn’t do your trustpilot research, I hope you paid with a credit card because that’s the only way you’ll get your money back!

Tried to cancel order. This was refused as "it had already been shipped", which was ridiculous.
Tried to return item. Their returns policy was quoted at me ie I have to pay to return it to CHINA. There is no way it had come from China. I was offered 5% of the cost back.
Credit card company couldn't find a way to get my money back under any of their procedures. Very frustrating. Read the ts and cs. Buy at your peril. I haven't even dared turn it on. Cheap and nasty plastic, like a very poor quality children's toy that would break when first used. Horrendous.

Scam drop shippers business who supply cheap product at high price; manufacturers cost is £24.40 and sold at £138. Real value probably only about £40 retail. No phone number, no UK address, returns you are told to return to China at own cost. The Company registered address is a Mailbox Shop in London. SCAM report re business done by BBC R4 on podcast. I purchased a Raveno unit as my existing one had a fault. I wish I hadn't bought the Raveno - It arrived quick enough, although I was concerned straight away, I wondered if there was anything in the box!
When running it there was so little water extracted a newspaper would have done better.
As with other low ratings, I contacted customer services but have been continuously fobbed off and asked to 'run the unit for 3 days, give humidity readings' etc. Its a waste of money and space. Its packaged and ready to go, I just need a return address/label details.
Please avoid - for what I paid for the unit (£138) my previous one cost less to repair.
Please read the reviews on here - Im surprised by the positive reviews and if they are true only add to the fact that the unit I received is defective

Appalling customer service and dehumidifier tiny. Never ever buy from this company! And they also sell on your email address…I’ve had so much spam since using this company! Dreadful company!

Absolute scam. I tried to cancel the order and asked for a respond before it was shipped but was told it was to late as it had already shipped. Daily emails back and forth but still no further forward.

This company calls itself Raveno UK but is not in the UK at all. They are scammers and they will rip you off. I refused delivery from their courier after they sent a product without paying customs, which every other company does, because I had already paid the customs charges to them. They lied for 3 months saying I had received the item, whilst their own courier during all that time confirmed I did not. They tried to say I had signed for delivery, I did not. When they finally admitted I had not received the item they gave me, after a further month of emails, a refund for half the purchase price of the item. This was not a personalised item, it was a regular item off the shelf. For two months now they have argued that their ‘policy’ is to keep half of the price of the purchased item if it is returned for any reason. I obviously never signed or agreed to such a ridiculous scam aka ‘policy’ & have notified my bank of this scam. I believe this will end up in Court, to see if I can claw back the money they have scammed me out of. My advice is AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! They are SCAMMERS!!!

I’m having a very similar experience to the below reviews sadly. I hadn’t seen this before getting sucked into a ‘top 3 best buys’ site for dehumidifiers. It barely soaks up any water for a room with a known damp problem. I’ve had 7 e-mails back and forth with no return label provided, incredibly frustrating and poor customer service.

It shames me to admit, I was sold on a lie. I have been looking for a dehumidifier for a while and wasn't sure what to get.
I searched the reviews of multiple dehumidifiers being tested by people and found one that looked good. The reviewer seemed legit on a Google search, the item looked perfect. the website seemed legit and I did the one thing I shouldn't have, I bought before checking the TrustPilot reviews. They are all accurate.
I got suspicious when I had a weird email about tracking. A company I had never heard of. The item was being shipped from China, not the UK. I immediately wasn't happy with that, it was going to take weeks to arrive which wasn't said anywhere on the site and with winter in full swing I needed something sooner so I cancelled it.

I had a generic email back from what looks like an AI bot saying it can't be cancelled and that I had to refuse delivery on the item. Obviously, this isn't the case normally so realised I had been scammed.
There were no delivery details on when what time or who was delivering it to even attempt to cancel it. Roll on 5 days ago the item was left outside. No email saying it was here, no note through the door just dumped outside. I found it when I got home.

I emailed back to the company telling them this and saying I still wanted a refund. They replied again with an AI bot saying that I had to send it back to China and if there was any damage whatsoever I wouldn't be eligible for a refund BUT that I couldn't open the box to check or I would not be eligible for a refund.

I pointed out that this wasn't how the UK law seemed to offer (I am no legal eagle, I just googled Money expert) and got offered a 5% refund that has risen to 12% this morning.

I have contacted my bank and trading standards about the company. I have also told google that the review done by it is false. it was still up when I checked a few days ago.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.

I read a review of the Raveno Dehumidifier on the top three website.
The review was by Luke Edwards, he tested three Dehumidifiers and guess what dehumidifier came out on top, yes it was the Raveno Dehumidifier. So I bought one for £138.00. Is Luke Edwards part of the Raveno Company Scam?.
Several emails were exchanged between myself and Ariana, Soon after my initial trial of the dehumidifier the water tank could not be removed, I pointed this out to Ariana 4 or 5 times, I was asked to take a video of me trying to remove the water tank, which I did. The reply was Dear customer thank you for your letter it's a pleasure to serve you. I'll ask the engineer.
At this point I decided a refund was not very likely and Trust Pilot was my best option, to warn others about this scam. These Raveno Dehumidifiers are cheap Chinese imports worth £25 and even paying this price you may feel that you were being ripped off.

My Bank have refunded my money in full.
Then another email from Raveno
"Can you please cancel the chargeback and we will send you a new machine?"
A new machine 😂 are they serious?
Is their AI software working, their dehumidifier is now called a
machine....
13th Feb 2025 letter from my bank they were unable to recover my payment.
Revano have won... Hope you have better luck than me.....

This dehumidifier is next to useless and going round in circles with the company not worth 138 pounds what I paid i have just opened a dispute with my credit card company after about a dozen emails getting no where.
