Ordered 4 Pre-departure antigen tests on 4th Jan...only for Scotland's rules to change on the 6th so no requirement for them. Spoke to customer support after a 15 minute wait Marcus was his name and sorted out a change to day 2 return antigen tests, keep the same antigen tests but sent me out codes to go online and get 4x randox reference codes to fill out our passenger locator forms for our return to UK the use tests on or before day 2.. excellent..Thanks Marcus..

Fast turnaround. Used Randox for our day 2 PCR test upon return from holiday. Popped them in drop box at 2.45pm and received results the following day at 4pm. Will use them again.

Nearest box is miles away so impossible to send back the test.

The lateral flow Covid-19 test for day 2 arrived late, on day 3. The app did not recognise me anymore when I wanted to log in my results. I had initially dowdownloaded and registered on their app before purchasing the test, following Randox's instructions.

The customer service never answererd any of my emails requesting assistance. The phone line was always too busy at all opening hours of the day and and an automated message would ask me to call back later and then disconnect me after several minutes.

By reading other reviews, I can see that the poor service I received is not an isolated issue. Randox should be removed from the government approved list of suppliers. I will share my experience with the regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and with the The Laboratory and Testing Industry Organisation, which works with ministers to ensure the UK testing industry has high ethical and professional standards.

We booked four PCR tests at the drive through at the airport. The service was quick and efficient and we got our results in just over 12 hours.

However, one of the tests came back as positive which was surprising as the other three were negative and we'd spent the whole week together!

Luckily we didn't trust the result and got a repeat PCR test done less than 24hrs after the Randox one, which subsequently came back as negative.

Ordered 2 for return to UK but could not use as travel plans changed last minute due to the government rules. Was too late to get refund so wasted £70 on tests not used which is crazy. To add to this even if I had used them the drop off boxes needed are only open for short hours so you are very limited on time to get them there. If you arrive late and have to go out again when it is open that goes against the government rules of isolation for two days! With all the money I wasted on other tests too this made the whole situation a joke. I understand the need for tests but do make it a bit more straightforward.

Would definitely use again as you can order early and receive Day 2 PCR tests in advance of your holiday and they have Drop boxes at Roadchef Services.

Picture the scene; I’ve purchased 2 x Antigen tests for Day 2 - from a different company, when the rules were changed twice in Dec 21, to need both ‘Test to Return Antigen’ tests and Day 2 PCRs and it’s 6 days before my holiday.

With some other companies, I was likely to receive the Day 2 PCR tests on my ‘Day 0’; 23 Dec 21 or later. I would have to hope the tests arrived early that day and get them in before the last Royal Mail collection and most likely spend Christmas Day in isolation awaiting results.

Then I discovered RANDOX, who said they deliver Day 2 PCRs, 4-6 days after ordering - as opposed to Day 0. And they said next day results from a drop box collection up to 23:59hrs. They have partnered with Roadchef to provide 24/7 Drop boxes and they were advertised to be collecting throughout Christmas.

I ordered 2 x Day 2 PCRs on Monday morning and they were delivered Wednesday.

In Dec 21, you didn’t need an App for a PCR test but you do need the CertiFly App for their Antigen tests; so we had to purchase these elsewhere as our phones weren’t ‘smart’ enough.

On returning from a great holiday, we did the PCR tests in the Airport carpark on Day 0, then drove to the Roadchef on the way home to post them after first registering the tests on line.
Tip: - Allow plenty of time and ensure you have both the RANDOX Booking Ref RANDX... and URN RD... for each test; Flight details and your NHS numbers to hand. (It would be useful if test companies would provide a sample registration form so you can see the questions in advance.)

The Sedgemoor Roadchef M5 Drop Box last collection was 15:45hrs.
Both notified of receipt at lab about 03:50hrs on 24th Dec and both notified of negative results before 16:00hrs on same day, Christmas Eve.
It was great to end self-isolation so quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed spending Christmas day with our family.

Ok experience no issues well and timely. Only complaint is that they insist you download their app and have a very rigid procedure-but app was unnecessary in the end as it had glitches in registering picked up PCR tests . Otherwise standard charging and all ok

DO NOT USE RANDOX
Day 2 PCR tests never delivered despite 4 online messages left. Courier DPD refused to speak to me for data protection reasons!
Unable to speak with anyone at RANDOX, on hold for 75 minutes then gave up. £90 down the drain. Been back in UK 3 weeks and no one seems bothered that we didn't do the tests

They say full refund on their website, 10 days and still no answer.

Do not waste your time or your money. Spent close to 2 hours in a queue when we bang on time for our appointment.
They are over-booking test sites to make money. Absolute joke.

AVOID - absolutely rubbish service! They don’t respond to emails nor provide results for tests! We are on day 6 and still no day 2 results even though we used their walking in service at Trafford! AVOID loosing money and complete disappointment!!!

Arranged 5 pcr tests to be done in Glasgow. we were booked in for 17.40 went to the door about 14.00. they said no problems just come in and get your tests done.reception was quick. checked our ids and issued the tests. and asked us to get in quea for testing. Testing only took 20 minutes for all 5 of us.results were promised in 12 to 14 hours.which was good. left glasgow 1 hour after test to travel back to Edinburgh. As I set foot inside my door emails started to come through with results .this took only 2 hours.great service .

Secondly my friends done pcr click and collect from randox.they collected from randox glasgow.they done the tests and registerd them. and dropped them back into randox drop box located in clinick before 6.only thing to remember with self test kit.when you complete your test don't forget to put the whole thing back into cardboard box.and then put that box in the grey envelope. They didn't do that luckely it was not a issue. dropped of at 5.30pm .got email confirmation of randox has the samples at 12.58am that night
and at 11.30 am next day results came through.be honest I will prefer the 60 pound test done in the clinic. Atleast you know it was done correctly and results cume quicker .and your not on knife edge

Friendly efficient service.
PCR results next day approx 24hrs. £44 per person.

Unfortunately Randox lost all our PCR tests 'in transit' from their drop box in Bristol to their testing clinic, the night before we were due to fly. Had to book expensive airport rapid PCR tests instead. Have been emailing Randox for some form of refund/compensation but guess what - as with all other reviews they do not reply. Zero customer service which is a shame as they must be making a killing with all this testing.

Dropped at 9 in the morning on 23rd December and results arrived before midday the day after. Fast and efficient service for £35 for a PCR test

We had a test booked for our return into Manchester airport, terminal 2 earlier this month.
Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we missed our appointment and the testing station closed 15 minutes prior to our arrival. Staff walked out and waved.
No provision made for delayed flights - which considering they happen regularly and the company has flight numbers is ridiculous.
I have called Randox to make a complaint about the staff with a promise of a return call/email. Hilarious! I’ve called again and after waiting on hold for 45 minutes a rude customer services lady hung up on me.
I have DM’d through Facebook messenger, got a question in response, answered and Ive been blocked.
Still waiting on a response.
Avoid avoid avoid.
Have since used DAM Health twice and they have been brilliant. A far superior company.

Booked whole series of covid tests with them for family. First tests done had decent service but had to cancel all the remainder due to rule changes and they have failed to refund despite multiple contact by email and incredibly long wait on telephone line. Must be making a killing on antigen tests but failing to give customer service to match.
