Really like the simplicity and ease of booking rail tickets and also checking train times. Requested a refund as I had to change my booking, and received it in my bank account within hours. Impressed.

Just a really easy app to use and to navigate round. You get your e-tickets and confirmation email almost as soon as you press enter for the final transaction. Whenever I've had any reason to get in touch with them, they've been fantastic.

Straightforward ticket purchase process. No fees

The app sometimes has problems stating it will not complete a sale meaning you buy your ticket elsewhere. Beware - it will complete the sale anyway and the company will not refund.

The trains ran on time, my journey was quick and the carriages were clean. Staff were polite and helpful.

I was sent a link to the app by a family member.
After some trial and error I managed to make my bookings.I wasn’t sure how to pause a journey to allow a family meeting, so made separate booking.
Overall said system which I need to be more familiar with.

Excellent app always up to date amd use it every day to track the real time of trains and the service charge on Trainline for tickets means Railboard is 50p cheaper for every ticket

Trains were on time, clean and there were seats.

Purchased my tickets through the Railboard app, which was very straightforward and reasonably priced. The only let down was on the day of travel, the train service on my first leg of journey was cancelled (on South West Railway), a typical occurrence on this line. My two onward connections on Greater Anglia were timely and far more comfortable.

Very easy to use the app while buying tickets and checking live trains. No booking fees.

Finding trains was easy enough but seeing what ticket type I had purchased was a bit obscure - Advance or Monthly off peak return. Got there eventually.

One small area for improvement is the navigation during the ticket-buying process. While everything you need is there, moving between fare options, seat selection, and payment can feel slightly less intuitive than the rest of the app. A clearer step-by-step flow or fewer back-and-forth screens would make purchasing tickets even smoother.

Overall, Railboard is a very strong app that I rely on regularly, and with a bit of refinement in the ticket purchase flow, it could easily be best-in-class. Highly recommended for anyone who travels by train often.
