I’m really impressed with Questel and especially with Qthena. The tool is honestly best-in-class for trademark management and makes the work of our IP team so much easier.
What really stands out is the friendly and responsive support from our Key Account Manager. It’s so nice to work with someone who’s always ready to help and makes everything feel easy.
Our law firm subscribed to Questel/Markify’s trademark watch service on 7 August 2025 to service a client who had already paid us weeks earlier. Despite repeated written and phone follow-ups, Questel/Markify failed to deliver the first monthly report on time, altered the reporting frequency without consent, and continued to send unclear, evasive replies instead of addressing specific questions.
The result: our client waited over five weeks for a report that should have been generated and delivered automatically within days. Questel/Markify’s support is unresponsive, rude on the phone, and refuses to provide transparent B2B terms that they appear to grant to unregulated legaltech resellers like Legalstart.
This behaviour is not only commercially damaging but also raises serious competition law concerns, which we have now escalated to the Autorité de la concurrence and the European Commission.
If you are a professional services firm, do not rely on Questel/Markify for mission-critical IP monitoring. Their lack of reliability and accountability makes them a business risk.
Questel.com is a scam company.

After the work is done, this payment is not paid.
We were a client of Questel for some years and we had to stop using their services for two reasons: unprofessional customer support that was not able to reply to our questions and secondly the way how Questel handled personal data. Unfortunately, they forwarded emails that contains emails of employees to third parties without asking us.
