Pureshoes 

After an exchange of e-mails, Canalsteps promised to re-deliver my order. That was a few weeks ago. Nothing! No updates, no delivery. Now, I am trying to get my money back. If someone knows where I can get help in pursuing these scammers, please let me know.

I went on the website "canal steps" but the item came in a "pureshoes" bag so im assuming they are the same company. I have had a poor experience.
I ordered on the 24th of November. A pair of running shoes. It took 3 weeks for them to come. Then when they eventually came they where not as described. Totally different to look at and felt very hard, solid to walk in. Not running trainers. I have asked for a refund and have yet to be told the refund process. Poor quality for the money you pay.

Only because I got an email reply. I want ti return boots for refund but have been told to send them to Chins. Cost £25 perhaps more according to the post office.
I was offered an additional pair fir a tenner????
Do I part with the boots?
Am I likely to get refund?

This company is fake, and the website is now not trading. Misleading descriptions. We ordered what was described as Dr. Martens white sandals. Waited a month for delivery, and cheap fakes arrived. Notice exactly the same thing happened to another consumer on here. Wish I had read the reviews first. The website looked legit. I have learned a valuable lesson.

I wouldn't even give one star but I needed to write my experience. AVOID this company I sent 2 pairs of boots back and was told on 13th August my refund was processed then four weeks later and several emails sent NO REPLY and No Refund of £99.98 either scamers cheap imitation boots

A misleading website at the start, and the quality of the shoes is rubbish.
Deliberate deception on the website as to whether you are buying shoes that are a legitimate company or sh1t quality Chinese rip offs, they are Chinese rip offs!

Do NOT order from this company.

Stupidly, I read some Google reviews which seemed ok. However, once I began to have problems with my order and checked here, I clearly should never have used this retailer!

I ordered and paid for a pair of Skechers on 13/8/25.

Order confirmed with tracking details which have never worked.

Have now had three emails saying they are dealing with it and that I cannot cancel or get a refund (despite one if the first emails stating I could).

Been on to my bank who have told me they will raise this after the 30 days a retailer has to resolve any issues.

No word since j told them this! Lesson learnt!

This retailer is dreadful.

I bought a pair of sandals from this website that looked fine but they arrived after 4 weeks and were too small. I ordered a size 4. I have tried to return them but they keep saying that they will send me a returns label but never have. After a number of attempts I have given up. I’m very disappointed with the customer service as I see no way that I can return them and if I did I would have no confidence that I would be reimbursed.

I would rate this website as a zero minus 100 if I could. Shoes that we ordered are not as advertised and I believe to be fake. The have very hard soles and are not flexible. It is impossible to return as you have to email for details on how to return, and they email back saying they will send a separate email with details and prepaid labels to return but this never comes, I have a chain of approx 15-26 emails with the same nonsense with one saying to return to original address and I would then be refunded which I don’t feel confident about. I also received an email saying to return them to an American address. I’ve paid £60 for shoes I can’t wear or return. Please please DO NOT use this website

Absolutely shocking website they false advertise their products and false advertise where they are based.
A few weeks ago I contacted them and apparently their email has been “hacked” which i believe is a lie.
I would not recommend this website and I am truly disappointed. If anyone knows how to get a refund back could you please let me know.

WARNING! FAKE PRODUCTS FROM

This company sell fake products and are not from in the UK! Products are shipped from China which take weeks to arrive! I ordered a pair of Dr Martens and they are 100% NOT genuine, they also smell really strongly of Acetone! As with other people’s reviews, I’ve tried all the email addresses and no-one has responded regarding a return. But apparently reading other reviews you have to pay postage to return to the USA.
I never leave reviews, but I really wanted to warn other people about this.

Like others on here I ordered some Doctor Marten sandals on 29th June, 30th June they say that the sandals are on their way. No sandals, no reply to emails, phone number not working. Of course I now know that they wouldn’t be Dr Martens and I will have no recourse to returning them. This company needs shutting down and I will be reporting to the appropriate authorities.

I did my research or so I thought but the shoes that arrived are low quality and not a standard UK size. I suspect it’s another internet cheap scam where if I want to return them I have to pay shipping to China. Avoid them!!!

I ordered 2 pairs of walking shoes, 21/07/25 they arrived eventually, poor quality and don't fit. I'm expected to return these items to America even though it's a UK based company. The things arrived from china. Feeling doubtful if I would get my refund and 19.50 is a lot of money for postage

I finally got a response on where to return the unwanted item but it is costing £28 to post. I am still waiting on pureshoes getting back to me on how to resolve this matter. My item has not been opened as they have been informed of this but the return process is ridiculous as its codtong too much. Again the customer service is awful. I will be at a loss of £49.99 if they don’t resolve this. Would anyone have any advice on what i could do as this is a lot of money

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and changed my mind so emailed within 5 minutes - no reply. I eventually received the shoes, weeks after delivery date and have tried to contact and email constantly with no reply. Returns Policy says label in package, there is not. I am left with 2 pairs of shoes I dont want and no way of returning.

I thought the Pureshoes website looked stylish and credible and the product reviews on their site looked plausible. The .co.uk suffix on their website URL indicates a UK-based company and indeed, their "company address" is in St Helens. However, I've discovered the company address is a perfectly normal looking terraced house in a residential area, hardly a warehouse brimming with footwear products. Like others have discovered, when you buy something from the site (I bought a pair of garden clogs), they are ordered from China. I was sent a tracking code that worked on 17Track but not on Shop (the latter told me they had arrived 2 hours previously). To be fair, the clogs did eventually arrive and appear to be fit for my purposes so I shall be keeping them. If you do need to return items, it seems to be very difficult: the return address to use, according to the website, is in the USA.

Item ordered emailed inform of pending delivery. A month later still not arrived had to contact the company, the company said item had been out of stock never delivered as instructed. Asked for refund no information from company having to pursue a formal complaint. Policy states full refund if not satisfied. Still waiting 30 days from order.
This company from 23 june to 28 July still not responded to a refund no email company's phone line do not work. Very dissatisfied would not use again. Hopefully I will be reimbursed eventually.
Update after making complaint with my bank Pure Shoe wanted me to cancel the dispute with my bank said they would reimburse me. they had over 30 days to do this,no resonse to emails untill i started this process. if you can please raise a transaction dispute with your bank to get your payment reimbursed

Awful company. I also stupidly thought the shoes I ordered were shipped from UK but no it's China. Arrived 3 weeks later and very poor fit and quality. Emailed the company as per their refund policy and the emails bounced back undelivered. After no joy there I contacted my bank who asked me to raise a dispute. Hopefully will get money back. Made sure I sent the bank copies of all the emails to and fro as well as the company's alleged refund policy as evidence. I advise others to try the same route to get your money back. Good luck!
