Please do not waste you’re money on…

Please do not waste you’re money on this company. I ordered items 2 boxes every item smelled, was ripped (beyond repair) and was completely unusable. I tried to dispute this with the company as there was no way to even fix ANY items. I spent around £85 for 2 boxes and every item was disgustingly. After a dispute and nothing moving forward to save any hassle I just paid for the boxes and binned the items. I wouldn’t even try resell. Now they are sending me emails harassing about a rejection fee ????? WHAT …. I bought and paid for the items binned them now they are emailing about some legal fees … disgusting company disgusting service please don’t waste you’re money!!!!

As you state, you binned the items you received, so the return was overdue the return window and you received the instant refund without returning the items to us. Our bundles go through extensive sorting and grading, especially the high Branded (North face Bundle). We're very sorry if this did not meet your expectations, however when opening a return, we need the products back in order to allow the refund. When customers do not return the items, they will need to pay back the refund. You can find out more in our Returns Policy, which is linked in all of our listings, and agreed upon when checking out.

Avoid Large Purchases of Mixed Categories

Avoid buying large quantities of mixed clothing categories. It seems they randomly pick items from shelves to complete orders, ignoring the requested categories. I ordered 20 lots (boxes) from 7 categories, none of which included charity selections. However, most were filled with clearance items meant for charity shops. Additionally, the lots are not labeled to assist in identifying or matching them to the categories of items ordered. Recovering from cancer surgery, I was too weak to handle a return.

Ordered a fleece jacket through their…

Ordered a fleece jacket through their eBay store. Advertised as "excellent" condition.

When it arrived it was a rag. Holes, pockets in shreds and you could put your hands all the way through.
They offered me about 50% reimbursement – but the thing was useless. Lots of other complaints it about exactly the same kind of problem.
They seem to have 756 negative feedback this year many of them complaining about the same thing.

Although positive feedback, it seems that 30,000 were awarded automatically by eBay because if people don't live feedback then apparently eBay assumes that everything went okay and they simply give positive feedback.

They probably started off as a careful business but now they are too big. Overtrading. It causes a waste of time. An unnecessary journey to the post office to return the item. Wasted opportunity to bid for something else.

I'm quite sure these people wouldn't do this to members of their own family.

Got a refund – but I would rather simply have had what they advertised and in the condition they advertised it and not have had the hassle of having to wrap it again go to the post office again do without my money four days until the refund and missing the chance of buying something else.

No doubt they will make some trite reply to this as they have done with many other people

Sizing of clothes tends to be way off making online shopping a big gamble

My experience with shopping online at Preworn has been largely disappointing & I won't be ordering again. This is mainly due to the vast difference in sizing from clothes manufacturers. What is labelled as a size 6 can vary massively & actually measure anything from a size 4 to a 14! This makes buying clothes online a big gamble. Pre worn try to provide measurements, but until you receive the clothes & try on it's very difficult to know if they will fit. I ordered 17 items in my last order, mostly tops & 1 pair of jeans & 1 pair of trousers. Out of the 17 items only 2 tops fit well, the majority of the other tops are huge on me, so a waste of money. They are labelled a size 6, but most are more like a size 12-14. The trousers run up small so I can't wear. The jeans were listed as a wide leg & a size 4, they are NOT, they are a straight leg-clearly labelled inside, so I don't know how preworn got this wrong. The jeans are also a size 6, NOT a 4 as advertised. The jeans also look like they have a bleach drip stain on the front of one of the legs which I was not expecting & I would not have bought them had I known. Disappointing experience & largely a waste of money. It is also why I do not like buying clothes online, because the descrepancies in the measurements/sizing are huge. Another disappointment was on 2 of my orders, the 1 top I wanted the most out of each order was apparently unable to be found in the warehouse, so I received an email from pre worn both times saying they couldn't find the tops & that they had refunded me. Very disappointing when it's the items you want the most! I think I will stick to shopping in local charity shops, where I can physically see the size of the clothes in person & judge it before buying. Finally, one of the people working for preworn & in charge of their eBay listings banned me from bidding on any of their items on eBay! Simply because I asked if they could offer any discounts if I bulk bought many items! Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face! They then went on to offer a discount on multiple orders on their website!! The very same thing that I had asked for on eBay- which they banned me from buying any of their items for!!!!

I have bought several things from…

I have bought several things from Preworn in the ebay shop on online, and had some good buys.
I purchased a pair of beige shorts which was described as excellent, with a lengthy description of what they were like. However when I received they had a very large stain on the waist, when i went back to the website i could indeed see what is barely discernable stain in the picture provided. They offered 50% off not to return them, but I could not even take them to the charity shop. So I said no and asked for a prepaid label. This has not happened. I sent them an email and said there "service is shocking", and in return, they came back and said "What is shocking is your attitude" and gave me link to return centre where i cannot get a prepaid label. It is them who did not describe correctly, why should I have to pay.
UPDATE: its a shame I wasnt told that, and you have to give a reason for returning but it does not include NOT AS DESCRIBED or allow comments. so I have had the postage deducted. I await my full refund. thank you

What a disgrace

What a disgrace, received a super dirty and smelly jacket. There is no way you should be selling dirty clothes, second hand doesnt mean I pay for your dirty unwashed stuff you collected for free and sell for profit. Have decency to wash it before delivery and advertise faults such as peeled off poppers or faulty / missing poppers. Will be sending it back, absolutely gross. Never again

As stated in our listings, all clothing is second-hand and sold as received, with the recommendation that items are washed upon arrival due to the nature of used clothing. While we do aim to remove any items with major faults during sorting, some occasional issues can slip through. Preowned item purchase from this dealer stating that the item was genuine once received the item was the wrong size and shrunk badly and also not authentic as to contacting the seller. They were very rude on the phone and blocked the call. Do not trust this Seller .

No Contact

UPDATED:

Previous couple of orders from these guys have been fast delivery and pretty smooth.

Last two orders I have received have been an absolute nightmare.

One item was the completely wrong item and with dog hair covering it from top to bottom and the other had a massive hole in the sleeve despite being described as “Very Good”. Tried contacting a week ago on different platforms but not had a reply as of yet.

I finally got an email back from a lovely worker called Ellie after trying multiple different contact emails. Despite working in the marketing department and not the customer service department, Ellie herself contacted me back and managed to resolve both problems in hand. Locating my missing item and ensuring a refund for the damaged product. Ellie was quick to reply, polite and extremely efficient. Despite it not being her job role, she took it upon herself to make sure it was sorted. Thank you Ellie!

It won't make you money....

Two orders completed so far and the first was better than the second. Delivery was quick and free which is good.

Spent £35 (discounted price) on the second box and it will be break even at best. The quality is OK (around 10% of both orders have gone straight back to the clothes bank) and the others may get a couple of quid an item. More supermarket/primark received than actual higher end brands.

You will be sitting on some of this stuff for a while.

If the box was half the price it would probably be worth a punt. At best you might make a fiver at the current prices.

Received my first order not Impressed

Received my first order today from preworn wholesale, 1st lot was the Lake District area mixed tops 10 pack new , was supposed to be a selection of blouses, shirts , t shirts for £30 I mostly received vest tops so I wouldn’t even be able to make a profit on these as they were mainly supermarket brands , new look etc , so these will be returned, 2nd lot was high branded footwear which needed cleaning . There were two pairs one had holes in the soles and one pair with no size label at all so I wouldn’t even be not be able to sell these,it says they are carefully selected, not sure about that . I have emailed the company and I’m now waiting for a reply as to how we proceed, I have also had to pay £3.99 for the returns which I don’t think I should have paid as the mixed new tops were not as advertised. Not impressed with my first order

We do state in the product description that we strongly recommend cleaning all items upon arrival, even new with tags, as is common practice when sourcing from any store or wholesale supplier. Our items are originally packed to keep our prices as affordable as possible, which can sometimes result in a mix of brands and styles. Good service, easy returns but difficult communication

Update: following the reply to my review, I contacted Preworn on the below email address and got a response very quickly. They also sent me the gift card I was expecting.
Original review:
I used their 2B Loved Again offer to send in a big bag of clothes in good condition, hoping I would receive the voucher for it as advertised on their website.
I sent an email about it but no response for two weeks. I also emailed them in advance asking about this and didn’t get a response. There is a previous review on here with the same issue but I was hoping that was just a one off and I will get my voucher.
To be fair, I’ve shopped at Preworn numerous times and I’m happy with that side of the service, but the fact that they don’t reply to emails is quite disappointing.

Still no contact from customer services

Emailed as per the reply but still no response. Feeling extremely ripped off right now,

One star for my most recent experience and not prior purchases.
Ordered men's jeans (cost over £10) and they sent the wrong size. I started the refund process but there is a £3.50 charge. I emailed as I didn't think this was fair and have had no response at all despite numerous emails over many weeks.
Disappointed by the very very poor customer service.

Awful company

Awful company! Parcel of clothes not suitable for resale- stained, missing labels, faded, bobbled…I gave it to a charity to sell as rags. Save your money & don’t buy from preworn.co.uk. Their ‘high st brands’ are shops that shut down over 5 years ago! Shocking!
