Amazing experience
I had almost £800 in debt with a credit card company. When it was passed to PRA Group I believe it was around 400. Since then, I’ve set up payment plans and sent individual payments to get it paid off. I had a brief period of time where I couldn’t make my payment, and the situation was handled delicately and perfectly. Today, I am debt free from this particular debt (and even accidentally made an overpayment). Thank you very much to Abbie who spoke to me over the phone to refund the extra amount.

The only debt collection agency I've…
The only debt collection agency I've ever known to call on Christmas Eve. I owe them a few hundred quid since around 2003. To be honest they're lucky to be getting anything after 20 years.

Couldn't be more helpful. Spoke to several representatives over the phone and have all been helpful but none more than Sue.

Not a good company
The constant means testing of an OAPs pension
which is only a state pension and they carry on with this even at the end of life (less than 6 Months left)

I recently spoke with PRA Group about the account i have with them, i found them to be very helpful, understanding and they showed compassion which was a relief because it can be worrying when speaking with company's such as PRA Group but i found this company helpful and understanding.
The person i spoke with only a few days ago was very helpful (I can't remember her name sorry), polite and understanding. The person i spoke with prior to that a few months ago was also very helpful.(Can't remember her name either.)
Unfortunately, i have a few accounts with similar company's to PRA Group , some of those others were not as helpful or understanding as PRA Group.
From my experience, if you have an account with PRA Group - don't worry as they are there to help which I'm sure that's what they will do. Whatever your situation, explain this politely and calmly and I'm sure they will help.

I screwed up. They are fixing it.
I made a mistake on my account for my first payment. I had madea payment on a different card but it cancelled my contract. The lady I spoke to Sarah was really helpful and upon learning my situation And circumstances, gave me a few better options than the one I had chosen. It gave me a bit of peace that I may get through the holidays with the heat on.

Excellent and Friendly Customer Service
Today I received a call from PRA Group for my six monthly review and dealt with a lovely team member - Laura K.
Laura was very professional, empathetic and understanding of my situation. She was also very patient and put me at ease as we went through my changes in employment and health conditions.
We discussed payment options. I have been paying an amount different to the agreement, which wasn’t a problem but we updated the agreement to reflect this.
It was a pleasure to deal with Laura.
