Excessive pricing
Called to enquire about the price of a diagnostic test to check a management light and was told all service agent were busy and they will all me back shortly, over 3 1/2 hours later I get a young lady who clearly knows nothing about the working of a motor vehicle and with a matter of fact attitude tells me the job is a minimum of 1 1/2 hours. I tell her that I have spoken with 2 other Porsche agent one being part of their group and they say it’s a maximum of 1 hour so why are they quoting 11/2 hrs? She tells me they can choose to charge what they like and that’s their charge regardless of what the other centres want to charge. Bad attitude and bad customer service. I most certainly will not be taking my vehicle here even though they are the closest to me.
Avoid Porsche East London
Avoid Porsche East London – Unacceptable Quality & Service
I expected world-class reliability and service from Porsche, but my experience has been a nightmare. I purchased a Taycan from Porsche East London, and within the first week, it broke down. Over the course of 16 months, it failed four times, leaving me unable to use it for 11 of those months, yet Porsche refused to take responsibility bar repeat attempts to fix the same issues. I only had the car on the road 4 months of actual use in 14 months of ownership - before finally rejecting it.
The service department was slow, unhelpful, and dismissive, with no urgency in resolving major faults on a £100k+ car. For a brand that prides itself on performance and engineering, this level of failure is inexcusable. If you're considering a Porsche, think twice**** especially a Taycan. Stay clear of Porsche East London unless you want endless headaches and a car that spends more time off the road than on it.
Terrible service
Terrible service. The manager of Porsche West London Dean Kiedyk clearly does not give two hoots about the way that Porsche treat their clients. There is a complete lack of leadership and ownership that is clear throughout the customer experience from the person that answers the phone, to the time it takes to get through to the service centre to the actual catalogue of errors that occur when trying to source an appointment to rectify shortcomings in the delivery of a brand new car that one pays over 140k for. Shocking and completely unacceptable. Complaints are not taken seriously and there is no recognition of errors which is why things will never improve here.
Porsche customer care is non existent
Porsche customer care is non existent. The so-called UK customer care team are seriously damaging the brand by failing to take complaints seriously.
I have complained to Porsche Germany.
And I have raised awareness with all UK Trading Standards offices and the Department of Transpirt that Porsche is failing to address safety and reasonable warranty issues.
Who would have believed a ince premium brand would now have reputational scores. We are watching the demise of Porsche and the increasingly fast drop in re-sale values.
There are better vehicles, better customer service and cars holding their second hand values far better than deteriorating Porsche..
I am returning my Porsche because warranty issues have not been taken seriously - and Porsche customer service doesn't give a f++k.
Porsche Safety Campaign
Two weeks ago, I contacted the Porsche main dealer to confirm whether the warning lights displayed on the dashboard of my Porsche Taycan were related to a computer issue or a sensor malfunction. The Porsche main dealer advised me to book a checkup and informed me that I needed to bring the car in because Porsche had initiated a campaign to inspect the high-voltage system and replace Cell B in the car—a matter of concern for Porsche. I was also told that Porsche would need to keep the car for a full day to complete these checks.
To my surprise, despite this being a safety recall, Porsche did not provide a courtesy vehicle for the duration of the inspection. My car is still under the Porsche guarantee, yet the main dealer's only offer was to call me a taxi. As a result, I ended up spending over £200 on taxi fares due to Porsche’s campaign. Additionally, I specifically requested that after completing the recall work, the dealership recharge the car, as I am a member of the Porsche Charging Service and needed the car fully charged to drive back home. However, I noticed that my request was completely ignored.
I find it unacceptable that a brand like Porsche treats its customers in this way. When my old BMW 520D had a recall outside the guaranty, BMW provided a courtesy car for the entire day. After this experience, I feel deeply dissatisfied with Porsche and now want to avoid dealing with this type of treatment in the future.
Don't waste your time with Porsche West…
Don't waste your time with Porsche West London it a franchise and all they are interested in is selling there cars just like the double glazing salesman, once the sale is completed your on your own this is what they are best at and that doesn't even go well. I booked my car in for some work to be carried out. They carried out there standard checks nothing was listed which needed to be replaced, couldn't complete the work for what ever reason had to come back a week later once again car was checked in and a inspection was carried out but this time with the car covered less than 80 miles since the last occasion the front and rear discs including brake pads needed replacing. I was shocked and highlighted with there customer service and also with there complaints department. A while later I was told that the person who carried out the checklist was dismissed. The question which came to mind what would a mechanic gain by doing this? Porsche would benefit if anyone. Be very careful or use an different garage
911 GTS returned 6 times for same issue
This has been going on for 4 months after buying the car. I bought a convertible which I have not been able to use over the summer as the car has been with Porsche more than me.
After 6 times of sending the car back, I am now told the car will go to a ‘ gold technician / senior’ which lead me to assume their other technicians are not a qualified in the correct way.
We have now rent to the CEO of the UK and Europe and had resonances from customer services saying how sorry they are, but with no further plan.
The car is now been with them an additional 10 days having had to send the car in 6 times and still not heard back from Porsche. Despite me chasing for an answer.
I bought a brand-new PORSCHE CAYENNE in…
I bought a brand-new PORSCHE CAYENNE in April 2023. It was way more expensive than a Mercedes SUV I was looking at but I was impressed by the sales pitch.
After buying it, I soon realised that the 22" wheels on the car created a unnaceptable amount of road noise and I bought a new set of 19" wheels with plenty of rubber hopefully to absorb the awful noise. Not much effect I must say.
Even with the huge cost of the car it only came with one parking camera and also the internal mirror had to be dimmed by hand! The door mirrors did not dim at all. For this price I could not believe they were an extra!
The dash board was a huge gimmicky touch screen that reached right across to the passenger side. I found it to be extremely dangerous to be making changes in air con etc as attention had to be taken away from the road conditions. After a few near collisions I gave up with it!
The last straw came when I had a blow out high on the Pennine A66 in the dark. There is no spare wheel provided. Not even a temporary one to get you home. The spray foam canister was useless as the hole was too large and I had to have the car return home by a breakdown truck! I got home at 2 a.m. and had to abandon the trip! That was the last straw!
I took the car back to the dealer after 10 months and took a massive hit on the price paid. I consider that Porsche should stick with sports cars and give the SUV market a miss. The worst car I have ever owned!
Porsche west london turn a lifelong dream into making me feel like a poor unwanted customer
Porsche west london have managed to turn a life long dream of owning a porsche into a nightmare of underwhelming service poor vehicle service bad customer interaction damaging my car and making me pay for it and not explaining why its not covered by warranty and the excuses were pathetic. curtesy car never provided despite making me wait 3 to 4 weeks money i spent on cabs promised to be refunded never done just bad treatment and terrible service 3 visits to fix the damage they did then they had the cheek t o charge me and the give a rubbish reason that a fan inside a cover broke with no explanation. I have never felt so undervalued in my entire life even toyota make me feel more valued. I wish i had not boughtr the warranty last year so i never have to intereact with this dealership again. seriously they only seem to treat rich people well and treat people like me like scum terrible and upsetting and i have put my car up for sale because i hate porsche so much now for this
Don't bother buying a Cayenne - Porsche can't make it work
Let me explain what will happen to you if you attempt to buy a new Porsche Cayenne.
You will be promised a delivery date. Hell, in my case, the car was already at the dealer.
You'll pay for a deposit.
BUT YOU WILL NEVER GET THE CAR!
Why?
Well, Porsche has screwed the Cayenne up so badly that they can't make it work. The reason is not so much mechanical, but is based on software.
This BRAND NEW car requires TWO major software updates, apparently to fix "minor" things like (a) locking you out of the car, and (b) locking you in the car!
From US reviews, you can also expect the PCM not to work, various systems to fail randomly and frequently, the wing mirrors not to respond, and so on.
And then there's the other bit of "shrinkflation" that Porsche has thrown in: they no longer factory fit a tracking device. Nope, they've thrown it out, forcing you to buy a £500+ tracker on top of the list price.
So ... less car, car that doesn't work, car that can't be shipped ... what more do you want for over £100k?
They've completely lost the plot.
(Oh, and one side detail. If you contact Porsche UK, they'll deny any responsibility. No, they're "just the importer". Charming service and support for their loyal customers.)
Porsche Centre Edinburgh - First Class
Bought previous car from Porsche Centre Edinburgh (2021) and had it serviced here too (2023).
Wasn’t intending on changing the car but when the right thing comes along out of the blue then sometimes you need to go for it.
Second car from Porsche Centre Edinburgh now purchased.
Through the servicing of the previous car as well as the purchase of the new one - first class hospitality, professionalism, product knowledge and a full customer service experience.
A quality product, quality people and a quality service.
I really cannot thank them highly enough for an outstanding experience.
Steven, James and Hamish along with Gordon and Derek as well as a few others.
Extremely Bad Service
I just bought a brand new Macan GTS from Porsche Aberdeen via a thirty party. My windscreen has cracked and Porsche book me in to change the windscreen in 8 weeks and they want me to drive a brand new 4x4 with a damaged windscreen for 8 weeks, ridiculous. No matter what department you phone they always a nightmare and very unprofessional. I could not believe such an extreme bad service from Porsche.
Porsche cars are great, customer service is appaling
Porsche: 5760876
A 5 time Porsche owner who experienced inherent defects on a Cayenne E Hybrid. Agreed 3 years ago that I would be offered appropriate compensation on my next Porsche. Guess what, the person dealing with it has left and they won't honour the agreement. Not even a complementary Experience at Silverstone.
I lost over £16,000 on trade in yet others (footballers in Chester) received full compensation.
Untrustworthy and changed their argument whenever countered. Untrustworthy and changed their argument whenever countered. Paul Bolton is the most unprofessional customer facing service manager I have had the misfortune to deal with. Continually changes argument after being refuted, can’t spell and calls customers by the wrong name.

Dodgy Second hand car Salesmen, Avoid
I bought a Porsche Caymen 718 gts 4 litre from Bolton approved Porsche.
When it arrive it had double the mileage, that was advertised or that was on the sales documents.
It was only 9 months old and had been in Bolton's possession from new as a demonstrator.
They want be to believe this was an 'honest' mistake, that would be to admit I and stupid.
They are supposed to do 111 point Porsche check prior to approved used sales.
Also they had been driving it around and would have been logging the mileage while they were using it as a demonstrator.
I didn't get to test drive the car as the Bolton centre was hundreds of miles away, it was delivered.
The car also had a big gash in the tyre and damage to the wheel which had obviously already been repaired and colour matched. I noticed this less than a week after receiving the car, which means I could not have had time to take it for repair myself, yet they are now blaming me for the damaged they caused while in their ownership.
This misrepresentation / misleading action, is a breach of the consumer protection from unfair trading regulation 2008/2014 and is a criminal act as well as a civil one. The regulations state I am entitled to a minimum of 25% discount of the value of the car, as a result of their misleading action, which obviously the slick talking salesmen are trying to talk me out of.
Porsche UK have mainly let them get away with it just offering a gesture of good will, But it seems not prepared to do much about the misrepresentation or failure to inform me of the damage or why they failed to follow the Porsche pre-sales requirements.
The most terrible experience at Porsche…
Had the worst experience at Porsche Mayfair Centre in London.
False information was given on the website and even the documents such as used mileage and the condition of the car. Problems always noted and informed us at the last minute, though with apologies, which proved the worst customer service as no one following up during the process?!
The salesman Justin King seems to be helpful but gave us a filled in receipt form stating that we had got the car and ALL the documents BEFORE our actual collection of the car.
The Certificate of Conformity is alleged to be provided in German version only for car sold in the UK and this is their usual practice.
The missing item from the car was alleged to be sent to us within one week or so, but claimed that no ETA after our chasing for the same later on…
Car was bought in early June but problems remain unsettled until today, early August and no ETA could be told…
Shame on Porsche UK or only Mayfair is the worst Center in the Uk?
I wish that I could give the zero or negatives to show how poor it is.
Norwich Porsche Centre
We recently collected my wife’s new Porsche Macan from the ‘Official Porsche Centre’ in Norwich.
She’s so happy with this beautiful car and we genuinely cannot thank the staff enough as they literally went “over and above” and made us feel like we were members of their family (which we are now, in Porsche circles😊)
We have been to a number of Official Porsche Centres in the past. I can honestly say this Centre one is ‘head and shoulders’ above the rest.
The staff were so polite, friendly, courteous, and professional during all our interactions with them over the last week, and they even gave us a fantastic unmatchable part-exchange price price too!
On the day of collection they genuinely made us feel like “Royalty”, unveiling the (covered) car for us in their purpose-built area for such events and presenting my Wife with a bunch of flowers and a handwritten card acknowledging our 25 years together.
Special thanks to Managers Adam, and Michael as well as Front-of-House staff-member Philippa, you guys are clearly the ‘best of the best’ at what you do, ticking all boxes knowing how to make customers feel at ease, with your open, laid back and friendly approach.
If you are thinking of purchasing a Porsche, no matter what part of the Country you may be in, then I strongly recommend you give them a call first because they will try to move ‘heaven and earth’ to accommodate you.
Thank you again,at Norwich Porsche Centre and we look forward to seeing you again soon for a catch-up over more pastries and hot chocolate.

Bought a Porsche 992 911 4GTS 3 weeks…
Bought a Porsche 992 911 4GTS 3 weeks ago and was then told the tracker wasn’t fitted in so got booked into the Porsche West London Chiswick branch and was told by their service manager Dean couldn’t do anything as he and the branch don’t represent that part of the business as bought it from the York branch and it’s solely their problem . Probably the worst service I’ve receive from this untrained service manager in over 2 years . Avoid this no ranch at all costs
I owned a Porsche Cayman for a few…
I owned a Porsche Cayman for a few years, and I have to say that it was an exceptional driving experience. The handling, power, and styling of the car were all top-notch, and I always felt proud to be behind the wheel of such a beautiful machine. The engineering and attention to detail that went into designing and building the car were evident in every aspect of the driving experience, from the sound of the engine to the responsiveness of the controls. Even after my car was crashed into by a Welshman in a Kia, I still have a deep appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship of Porsche vehicles. I cannot speak highly enough about the brand and the quality of their products. If you are looking for a truly exceptional driving experience, I highly recommend Porsche.
Obviously wrong colour or type to be…
Obviously wrong colour or type to be called back by your East London location
Pick another brand. Avoid Porsche
Horrendous 'customer service'. Spoil the brand and they don't care. Find another car as you will be disappointed if your car develops a fault.
