Found Polygon excellent. Heating system/boiler had been losing pressure for months, gradually getting worse until needing topped up every day. Platinum Boiler cover which included radiators and pipes with a well known insurance company wouldn't cover, so paid myself to find the leak. Polygon offer a 'Trace Only' service - Non-intrusive leak detection, using thermal imaging, sonar or gas detection (they drain the water from your heating system, fill it with some inert gas, then go round with a sniffer device to detect where the gas is coming from). With Trace Only, they mark the spot and provide a report usually for your insurance to deal with. The enhanced service is 'Trace and Access' where they expose the area where the leak is (if under floor boards for example) so it can be fixed by them for an additional charge or by your own plumber.
They recommend you have your boiler checked for leaks before engaging them as it's quite an expensive /time consuming exercise. I did this, and inspite the plumber stating 'it's definitely not your boiler', the Polygon engineer having sniffed his way round the entire heating system for 8 hours, finally identified the leak was coming from the heat exchanger in the boiler.
I had paid in advance for the 'Trace and Access' service, but since no access was required, they refunded £300 direct to my account. This was done without contacting me and just showed up as an unexpected bonus on my bank statement one day.
Summary: excellent service from the engineer who visited and from the company who proactively refunded me the difference between the Trace Only and Access service.

Useless company who were instructed by the insurer Integra whom are equally as useless. The first visit to assess water damage was a waste of time with no equipment being installed as I couldn’t empty buckets of water, not a great way to treat someone who was physically impaired and I imagine others have had similar treatment. I then had to wait another month for another technician to come out who did what the first guy should have done. 2.5 months later I’m still waiting for a follow-up visit, with it being 6 months since my initial claim. I was also told my paint was waterproof which is why my walls weren’t drying out. It was normal imulsion paint, the reason the walls were wet were that it took 2.5 months to come out and fit a dehumidifier after severe water damage from the neighbours house which has had to be gutted. The guys either don’t know what they are talking about or try to lie to the customer thinking they are stupid. Also wouldn’t give a star but had to, to leave this review.

Customer service shocking. Despite ‘promises’ to call back they never do. This goes on for weeks and weeks.

Your man was very thorough .Assessed the job and worked through all the difficulties to complete the investigation to everyone’s satisfaction in spite of the time it took .I was very pleased to have it completed in view of two previous pathetic attempts by other firms.

I have previously stated that this company was a waste of money. I now take that back. Following my previous review I was contacted and offered a free second visit to find the leak. This they did and today I dug up the are given and about 5 foot down found the leaking "T" piece.

Easy to book. Arrived on time. Quickly identified the problem and explained to us in detail. A very detailed report was sent the following day which included photos and videos. Would definitely recommend.

Our plumber suggested that there is a leak in the heating system and advised to get leak detection company. I've booked the service from Polygon and they came on time thoroughly checked the whole house but found no leaks. Not sure if you ought to be happy with this outcome or worried! But they done what they were supposed to do
Although I have paid for the full day "detection and exposure" as they took only couple of hours they refunded me the difference

This company is a joke. Ageas instructed them, They didn't call me. I had to call them, they were quoting a 5 week lead in period to attend relying upon "surge demand"excuse. There had been no major weather issues in the South East at this time. They just muck you around and waste time.
I instructed another drying out company. Wasn't prepared to stand for this nonsense.
I have written to the CEO of Ageas asking why they advise me to use a company who are not able to handle the workload

Would have been 5 stars but they went back on their word and pushed the job back 2 weeks.
The 2 chaps who turned up to do the work were excellent being very professional and helpful.
Just a shame about their boss.
UPDATE. Don't waste your money on this company. They marked where their gas was supposed to come up and said that was were the leak was. Dug the ladies garden up and didn't find a sign of a pipe or a leak. Eventually found the pipe about 5 feet away but no leak present. Total waste of £1700.00.

2 technicians turned up very promptly and introduced themselves. They brought in their equipment and after being shown round they immediately set to work. They let me know what tests they carried out and results in clear and concise terms. They cleared the area and tools when finished. Very friendly and professional. The engineer was punctual and very helpful Seemed very good at problem solving as well as talking me through the process. I was quickly refunded when no access needed.

On time and leak found within an hour!

Absolutely shocking service we had smoke damage and waited for 4 months for this company to come out there eventually came out , my GF asked if they could clean up some of the soot damaged products and the guy said yes by 1200 clock midday there was no van he had cleared all of the furniture and products out of the room and disappeared for a couple of hours even metal vases and pot vases they took which could of easily been cleaned up he said he has listed all the items we found out today he hasn’t listed anything and invoiced for the cleaning that’s it ,he was working with another lad who couldn’t stand up he was totally stoned out of his mind so basically at the moment they have cleared us out of very expensive gear .
