This company is very professional. They replied promptly to my enquiry and followed up with text messages. Managed to fit us in even on Good Friday. Arrived promptly for appointment and went about the task of finding a leak in our CH system with efficiency explaining what they were doing. It wasn't a leak as such but probably an evaporation leak as valves on radiators were loose. The system has been working without problems now and it was great peace of mind to have it sorted. A written report was sent with recommendations . Thank you

Was easy to book, lovely lady on the phone. Our leak detector Simon was a very pleasant person to deal with. Was thorough in testing visible signs, then took to the gas to delve deeper. We were a little concerned when nothing was showing, but the last place he visited showed a spike in gas, then he tested for dampness and bullseye - he’d found the leak. Some joiners had put a pin through a pipe 😭. Was very pleased to find the cause of our issues after many many weeks scratching our heads. The only minor negative was the price which came to nearly £800 to find the leak (up to 3 hours) and 1.5 hours to cap the pipes. However, you can potentially claim on insurance - but in our case the excess was nearly as much. Surprise, surprise the joiners are not returning my messages. If you want a leak found then these guys are impressive, but it’ll cost.

Easy to make an appointment and all fully explained. Engineer was on time and was very helpful with all aspects of the service. All completed on time and full report issued the next day with everything explained.

The Leak Detection Company was referred to by my friend as they were very reliable & efficient. Claire at the office took note of all the challenges the engineer might have to face as it was a rental property with 2 severely disabled children.
Engineer Elliot that came to attend arrived early & after greeting him he was willing to wait the 30 or so minutes to attend at the time of the appointment.
Elliot managed to find the leak almost immediately & began straight away to rectify the found leak.
unfortunately after turning the water on there was another leak which he then began to fix. In all he temporarily repaired 5 leaks but then advised that I really need to engage a plumber & get the water lines surface mounted & the whole wet bathroom area dried out professionally because the cost could become extortionate as the old underfloor copper piping was severely corroded.
I'm now in the process of consulting with the Insurance company to deal with Aspray who can totally bespoke the whole project as the tenants have 2 wheel chair bound children whose needs also require to be taken into consideration. All in all Elliot provided sound advice & not only rectified the main leaks but also offered indispensable advice on how to go about getting the issue permanently fixed.

I contacted this company because I had a leak my plumber had been unable to trace. Nick came and was incredibly professional. He had all kinds of devices for tracing moisture in the walls etc but also a keen sixth sense for what might be going on. He was courteous and made every effort to keep me informed of where his thinking was. He produced a very thorough report with clear follow up recommendations. From there I was able to go to a construction surveyor who read Nick’s report and was able to carry on from where Nick had left off (i.e. the leak was not coming from inside the building).

Great service from The Leak Detection Company. I picked them from the internet (which is always a bit scary); read some reviews which were all glowing (are they all real?). I thought I would give them a go.

When I called, the office advised they wouldn't come out until I'd monitored my system to establish who quickly the water pressure was falling. I thought this is a genuine company; not just after a quick buck. I called them back after monitoring the system and Jamie visited on 20 March. He was punctual, had quality shoe covers and was very polite.

Jamie not only found the leak in my heating system, he also identified a leak in my downstairs toilet (thanks Jamie), that had probably been going on for quite a while.

Good communication from plumber when delayed on motorway. His experience was obvious, and he quickly found the leak. Friendly during the visit, and report received promptly.

I recently used The Leak Detection Company for a suspected underground supply pipe leak at my home in London E13. From the first enquiry, their response was incredibly fast – they replied within hours and even brought the appointment forward to the next day.

The engineer, Jimmy, was outstanding! He arrived on time, explained everything clearly and patiently step by step – from the stop valve test to the different detection methods (thermal imaging, acoustic, tracer gas etc.). He took his time to make sure I fully understood what was happening, even showed me the live results on site.

The report is by far the most detailed one I've ever seen: full of clear photos, exact location details, testing process, results explanation, and recommendations. It was perfect for my home insurance claim (Halifax trace and access reimbursement).

The whole team is very professional, honest about pricing (minimum charge was clear upfront), and the service truly delivered – they found the leak quickly and accurately.
