I have been charged 3 times for their product and received 1 shipment. There is no point emailing them because you get an auto reply that’s leads to nothing. The ad said cancel subscription anytime yet when I tried it said I had to pay for 3 months before I could.
The product itself doesn’t seem to have any effect. All in all a waste of money

I ordered pet chews and they just keep coming!!!
Good product but horrible customer service. They keep telling me to cancel my subscription (that I never asked for) but my account on their website says I don’t have any active subscriptions!!!

A bunch of deceitful crooks!! I purchased a product one time from them and they continue to attempt to steal more money from my account. I didn’t agree to any subscription! Plus their products are subpar and look like old sand from the old alleys. Dogs hate their substandard products! Made my dogs sick. Please watch these losers as they will steal money from your account! I will be contacting my attorney and the BBB and via word of mouth I will let everyone I encounter know that these people are theives and crooks! Beware!!! You have been warned unless you like giving away your money for a poor product!!

I purchased this product in April, not realizing it was a subscription. My bad. The product did seem to help my dogs bad breath so when I was charged for a second shipment I thought let's give it more time. My second shipment was higher priced and included an $8 priority shipping charge. I never received it. I emailed the company and got an auto response telling me how to access my account and that someone would get back to me. They never did. 3 emails later, still no response other than the auto response. Worst customer service ever.

This is a copy of a review that I submitted in respect of Pet.co ,which is an affiliate, if not the exact same company as Plutopets ( the contact emails are the same) as is the modus operandi. Therefore, felt it appropriate to post it here in order to warn more people of their disgusting business practices.

A Thoroughly Disreputable Company

The way this company operates is beyond disgraceful.I ordered one of their products on a ‘one off’ basis.I was charged, but it never arrived. I was then subsequently charged again via my account even though they had absolutely no right to do so ,as I did not sign up for their subscription services, as confirmed by the relevant page on their website.I have now just received a further pending charge to my account- in summary;

1.I have been charged three times for products which never arrived

2. I never entered into a contract to purchase their products on a subscription basis.

3 Despite numerous emails and messages to them, I have only received one response which essentially apolgised for their lack of service and promised a refund.

4.Notwithstanding 3, I am yet to receive any refunds despite numerous further emails to them.

5. I have contacted my bank and they are currently making enquires to resolve.

To conclude, this company is operating a scam and should be investigated by law enforcement for knowingly undertaking practices to defraud customers of their money. If the measures I have taken thus far do not resolve my dispute, this is a course of action upon which I may embark.The ultimate owners, as per a previous review, are Dog Science LLC ,and are based in New York at 42 Tiemann Place- a simple search via opengovny.com also reveals the name of the Registered Agent- who, rest assured, will be getting contacted in due course if satisfaction is not obtained.

Do not purchase any products from this company- if you do, you will very much regret it. I did.

Avoid Plutopets.com – Total Scam

I had an extremely poor experience with Plutopets. Despite sending numerous emails, I never received a response from their customer service team.

When I tried to cancel my subscription, I was told it could only be done through their website by logging into my account. Unfortunately, the cancellation process on the website did not work either.

After multiple failed attempts to contact them and cancel my subscription, the only way I could stop the charges was by blocking them through my credit card provider.

Based on my experience, this company appears completely untrustworthy. I would strongly recommend staying away and warning others before they sign up.

PlutoPets based in Delaware USA uses auto-subscriptions. Beware. I used my prepaid card and saved my money otherwise I'd be charged again. Their policy to unsubscribe is far too complicated, rather dark I'd say. Additionally it took 35 days to receive my order. I don't think I'll order again.

I had to give 1 star but would rather not give any. The customer service is non existing, they never reply to emails or requests on messenger. I accidentally signed up (I know - got signed up because I didn't read the small print) to a subscription service for supplements and have tried to cancel three times with no success. The website says you have to cancel from the customer account, but this is not possible. I consider myself quite tech savvy by the way. It also says you cannot cancel until you have had at least 1 subscription delivery. I have now had two, and I still get the same message. Be very careful ordering anything from this company.

6 weeks later still haven't received the product I ordered and customer service doesn't respond. Highly recommend avoiding this company.

I paid $16.98 for a tiny sample of their dog treats. I always read the fine print as I don't do subscriptions. My dog would not eat the treats. Meanwhile they sent me a note saying they were sending

I told them my dog wouldn't eat it & not to send. They said I couldn't cancel until I had bought 3 bags. What kind of company does that? Very unethical! Now they have sent me the bag & I had to go to the post office to return.

I made ordered Superfood Softchews on April 4 and now Pluto says that I enlisted in a subscription because I got a discount. I was not aware of that because it was nowhere mentioned in the order confirmation.
No use to try to cancel the subscription because they don't answer to emails. I will not order anything from this company as I feel to be cheated

I placed an order on March 25th and today is April 5th and I haven't received my order. I've called the customer service number over 25X at different hours and days and no one ever answers. THIS IS TOTAL FRAUD AND A SCAM. So I order Pluto pets to try and of course if you order more than one it’s cheaper. So I did because I have 3 small dogs. The price is $90 approximately. I’m trying to get my pets to eat them. Absolutely no success. Breaking them up and putting them in with the food all different ideas … nothing was working. So I emailed their customer service department to let them know to cancel all future orders.. guess what ?? You have to establish an account now to cancel your orders. Didn’t need to establish an account to order.. really? So in the meantime they send me more product. Charge me another $90. That’s was in September. So I established “an account” to cancel my subscription. Requested to cancel future orders. Well I get an order in October and November. That’s $270 worth product my dogs will not take. So I sent those 3 packages unopened back to their office at my EXPENSE. Guess what ? They send me a package again in December. So 4 months and Iput return to sender on that package! That’s$360 in product and they finally refund me about $60. What crap. Bad customer service all the way around and product my dogs won’t eat!

Useless product. Will let you cancel your subscription by email one month, then completely ignore you when you ask to cancel. The phone number listed has a voice recording to send an email so you can never talk to anyone.

I ordered their free sample pack from one of their teaser ads on Facebook on 11/20/2025, Arrived Nov 26. I was not impressed. As many other products on the market it did nothing for my old dog and he did not like it.
On 12/4/25 at 2:14 AM I received this email: "Order #24757 confirmed." Of course I did not see it until about 8 am. I checked my bank and they had charged me $37.88 without my consent. No email "we're about to charge you, please update your subscription" or nothing like that, like reputable companies do.

At 8:21 AM I sent them an email with subject "NO!"
saying, "I did not order this. You people need to quit doing that. Cancel this and give me my money back."

I was informed the order had shipped, and the only thing I could do was return it unopened and I would get my money back. Well ... that was no so. Meanwhile, my mortgage payment bounced, since I had not calculated for the extra charge on that account.

I returned the package and informed them that I had done so on 12/21/2025.

Fast forward to 2/28/2026, and four more emails from me, I still have not received the refund.

UPDATED MARCH 28, 2026:

.... as would be my luck, the package got lost. I even initiated a missing mail search and provided Pluto with this information.
After some 5 or 6 emails, on March 22, 2026, I received this email: "We apologize to hear that. Let me consult our warehouse and accounting team with this. Show the claim will proceed if this was lost. Thank you for your patience.
Pluto Customer Service"
i have not heard back from them.

Note, the refund request has been ongoing since Dec 2025.

Update 5/2/2026: The post office followed up and the product was finally delivered back to their facility. I never received a refund .

I have used the Pluto soft-chew product for about 5 months and I like the quality. I think it is effective for my dog, Max. However Pluto offers teaser commercials with sneaky monthly subscriptions attached. But many companies do that. However with Pluto, it is impossible to cancel a subscription. They send and charge me for a new shipment each month despite me emailing and calling EVERY single month to cancel. I have read similar reports on the internet. It appears to be a deliberate business practice to make money. Very disappointing. Their website by the way is plutopets.co (not .com)
