WARNING: Punitive Return Policy and Failed Service
My experience with Plumbing World was severely frustrating. I returned an incorrectly ordered radiator, which UPS confirmed was delivered safely, yet Plumbing World refused the return, claiming it was broken on arrival. This punitive policy resulted in a complete financial loss for me, as the damage must have occurred before dispatch or during their handling. Furthermore, my accompanying valves order was incomplete and only resolved two weeks later after I proactively contacted them. Combined with previous delivery issues, this demonstrates a total failure in reliability and customer service. I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Never again will I use Plumbing World.
Update: The valve never arrived, and no refund has been made. In addition, the correct radiator was delayed due to damaged stock.

Wrong size toilet seat
When the item, a toilet seat, was received it was not the dimensions given in the listing on the website so it would not fit the toilet pan. I asked for the item to be collected and a refund but was told they would have to contact their supplier and wait for a response. I have emailed Plumbing World to say the contract was between me and them and their supplier is irrelevant but I've had no response to this.

Great prices and great service
I first went there as they were the cheapest for the product I wanted but also found their customer service to be very good. Lovely to be able to talk to people on the phone even when buying online!
Delivery was fine and i got reasonable notuce of the time slot which wa helpful when arranging things with my plumber

3 panel folding shower screen - Delivery as promised, undamaged. Installed and looks good. Got professional help.
Handling and installing this item is a two man job because of the weight 50kg - used extra long screws.

Would I use plumbingworld.co.uk again NO
I placed an order today for a vanity unit, mixer taps and click clack waste.
Order accepted and money taken with out question.
2 hours later I receive an email informing me that the items are out of stock and will not be available until the end of September.
I phoned and asked why an order was accepted, when there was no stock and was informed that when they receive an order then they contact the suppliers and in my case the suppliers were out of stock.
I asked for my money to be returned and they informed me that it would that 7 to 10 working days.
My payment to plumbingworld.co.uk was instantaneous, so why do they need to hang on to my money for at least 8 days. Simple they are pocketing the interest.
Would I use plumbingworld.co.uk again NO

Whilst we do stock an extensive range of products, we also rely on a number of suppliers for items that are not held in our warehouse.
This can mean we do have to wait a certain amount of time for products and suppliers dont always let us know items are out of stock, however we always inform you as soon as we can to advise of this.
I have looked into this, you ordered on Tuesday 19th August at 12:11.
We emailed you on Tuesday 19th August at 13:01, so you were contacted within the hour of you placing your order to confirm the item purchased was out of stock.
We then issued the refund on the same day at 13:49 so within 2 hours of you ordering we confirmed item was out of stock and refunded you promptly.
We do issue the refund straight away, unfortunately we have no control of bank timescales so we do have to advise its up to 7 working days due to this.
So sorry for any inconvenience caused here.

After the first time of using this company i cannot praise them enough we purchased our new bathroom from them shower, bath, taps toilet, radiator and furniture all arrived on time and packaged well and great quality .From ordering to customer service all staff were very helpful i would recommend them to anyone who is thinking of a new bathroom nothing, was too much trouble, many thanks to all concerned

Bought a radiator cover from here yet…
Bought a radiator cover from here yet when it arrived it was without a number of screws. I called and spoke to a member of staff who informed me that they don't have the screws in stock and need to purchase them myself. They did say I could send them the receipt and they would reimburse me the problem was I spent half a day traveling looking for a place that sold the screws. It was very inconvenient and surely they should not send any item out without all items! My biggest issue was I paid for someone to come and fit it and they was unable to complete the job due to lack of parts and had to come back another day!

Excellent Customer Service & Responsive
Maxine at Plumbing Word made resourcing and buying an Eastbrook toilet seat so easy! The toilet seat we needed wasn't their usual in-stock item. Maxine did however say they could obtain one direct from the supplier and when received they would send to us by courier. It was so good I've just ordered a second replacement seat for our other bathroom! Great Customer Service from Maxine, she was professional, helpful, timely and also had a sense of fun. I would NOT hesitate to buy from Plumbing World again. THANK YOU so much, I can't wait for the next seat to arrive!!!

Was in stock on website when ordered, only to be informed that it was out of stock 2 day's later and unknown date for restock. I ordered from Amazon and received 2 day's later and saved £50

I can see you ordered on Saturday, we don’t work weekends, so that would have been the reason for the delay in response, we offered you an alternative for the product we didn’t have in stock and this was sent to you on the Monday morning as soon as we was back in the office after the weekend.
