Our wifi has been going on and off for the past months. Whenever this happens, we always report it immediately to their customer service team. However, despite multiple complaints, their service has only continued to worsen. Imagine the inconvenience their poor service has brought us and we still have to pay full price. Not even small compensations were provided for how bad their services have been and we, customers, always have to put up with their incompetence.

AWFUL SERVICE, I DON'T RECOMMEND
I experienced a pain in the ass caterpillar slow internet for a whole month last August and it affected my job. I lost some of potential projects because I wasn't able to finish my tasks due to their slow internet service.
I asked for a refund or even a bill adjustment for the inconvenience they caused but they did their best ignoring my request. They would end the chat once I bring that up and then they have the audacity to call me when I didn't settle my bills on time!!! F U PLDT!!!

Worst customer service I have encountered. They just say that they escalated it already but don't provide any time frames or any real resolutions. They don't even peovide any compenstion and keep on insisting that the bill adjustment of the days that their service is already a compensation.

I’m very disappointed with PLDT’s internet service. The connection is extremely unreliable—it often disconnects without warning, and even after restarting the modem multiple times, the problem persists. Customer service isn’t helpful either; you get long waiting times and no real solutions. Considering how much we pay every month, the service is not worth it. If PLDT cannot provide stable and consistent internet, customers like me will have no choice but to switch to another provider.

A waste
Not recommended. Absolutely garbage, just Philippines WIFI in general is an absolute waste of money. Using SMART data is actually better, rare slow connection and almost no timeout. PLDT on the other hand, is straight up frustrating to use. When we first subscribe to PLDT fiber(2019), it was going smooth for the whole week, then after that it started having slow connection problems, however this is very rare. Fast forward like 3 years(~2022), slow connection became more and more common, also timeout happens from time to time too. However, simply searching in any browser "PLDT + any words that tells badly about their connection" seems to fix it. But that didn't last long, 2023-now, PLDT has been a waste of money. Speedtest are fake, its good for the first run, but after, its just the actual speed. Also, they seem to hate it when you spam speed test. They'll slow down the internet connection even more. And, btw, we got a booster, not just your typical fiber plan. But the booster makes no difference at all. I wish there's a great company who wouldn't try to control Philippines telecom so we can actually have a good connection.

I'm extremely disappointed with PLDT's service — their response is painfully slow, the staff lack professionalism, they make empty promises, and the overall service is consistently unreliable.
PLDT do better
PLDT has continuously disappointed us with their poor customer service and internet connection. In the middle of July, our WI-Fi was cut off during the typhoon. However, after three weeks and constantly notifying the agents in charge, there was no change. This issue was fixed early August. But after that, our Wi-Fi gets cut off on random dates with no plausible reason. Not only that, but it would take hours or a phone call to the company, and even then the issue wouldn’t be resolved. And now, on August 30 and the past weeks of August, our Wi-Fi has constantly been cut off at random hours and this issue still hasn’t been solved.
PLDT engages in a FRAUD/SCAM
PLDT engages in a FRAUD/SCAM. I increased my WIFI to 500mpbs it's been more than a year and after more than 20 complaints I still on most days average between 80 to 250mpbs. I am being charged for 500mpbs, but have never received it. I tried to reduce to 300mpbs, but am being told I would need to pay a cancelation fee and start a new two year contract. PLDT can't fix there issue, but wants me to continue paying for there problem or cancel and pay a termination fee and then start a new contract. I believe that's called ESTAFA in the Philippines. I highly recommend people to research other companies before selecting PLDT.
customer service is the worst. MOST OF MY COMPLAINT TICKETS ARE CLOSED WITH NO ACTION TAKEN. PLDT should be investigated for defrauding customers.

PLDT's customer service sucks
PLDT's customer service sucks. When you call their hotline they make you wait for minutes to hours just to have them tell you it's not their "department" and when you get frustrated, they make you wait even longer. This is why I applied for disconnection. Their services suck, their connection gets solwer over time. As of right now I have been on hold for almost 2hrs.

How to train your technicians
We've been using pldt as our internet provider for a couple of years. SOBRANG BAGAL during the pandemic days kaya pumayag kaming ipa-upgrade sa fiber dahil "MAS MABILIS" daw. Nag improve ang bilis ng wifi namin pero ang pagresolve ng mga issues, WALANG NAGBAGO. On time kami palaging magbayad, pero palaging nagkakaissue sa poste namin dito o kung saang lupalop man yan. Tatawag kami at sasabihin wait for technician. 4 days na ang nakakalipas, wala pa rin hahaha. Araw araw daw silang nag-iikot sa area namin...gano ho ba katagal ang pag-ayos nila bawat bahay. Grabe ang perwisyong dala ng ganitong uri ng customer service, may online classes at requirements ho kaming ginagawa. Maski simpleng heads up man lang kung saan yung nadetect niyong may sira na kable o poste ng kuryente hahha. I want this feedback to be formal as much as possible but my sentiments regarding this issue are overflowing.
