Constant failures.
Constantly delaying medications my life depends on. Fails to update customers CONSTANTLY of changes, and just cancels things with no notice. Claims they will send prescriptions 'next day', but then ships it ground, or misses cutoffs, or doesn't communicate cutoffs (all have happened)... So they are never on time. Constantly changing from 30 to 90 day supply and back without my permission. Constant issues with claiming they cannot contact my doctors... when several doctors swear up and down they were never contacted at all.
One time they left me without insulin for 3 months, despite fighting every single day to get the problem fixed.
Pillpack is a terrible service, and I will be changing away from them asap. Don't use this company - they don't care about customers at all, just money.
The Pillpack 2 step verification code…
The Pillpack 2 step verification code does not work. It takes over 30 minutes to get the text code after logging in. You can't chat without logging in. I seem to have to contact them every other month for a glitch, and the chat box used to work. But, now this stupid verfiication code system defeats that.
Run away dont walk
Run, don’t walk, from this service. These fools have tried to kill me at least twice. First, six months ago they were late in getting my shipment to me because of supply issues and promised to ship FedEx overnight but instead they shipped ground and made me go without my life preserving prescriptions for over three days. I am sure it was to simply save money. Then just yesterday, I found out that they didn’t send me several of my heart prescriptions because my insurance changed and PillPack couldn’t get it worked out with the insurance company. When I called found out from the PillPack pharmacist why I have not received my medication, I found that they drafted an email to me but never hit send button so I was completely unaware of any problems. This business is run by extreme fools. Let’s be fair, I don’t know if they’re stupid or just incompetent, but they lost me as a customer.
If I could give negative stars
If I could give negative stars, I would. I called them 2 months ago to set up getting enough for a week when I am out of the country, 2 months!! I have called more than 10x, checking to make sure it was all set. Each time I was promised that it was all set. I was given over 6 dates that they would go out. They used every excuse to why they screwed up. I spent over 2 hours from all the calls on hold. Here it is 5 days before I leave. I was told the last 3 days they were going out that day. Never happened. I was told today that I would not get them in time. They had 2 months to figure this out so I would get them in time. I had to transfer all my medications locally so that I would have them before I leave. DO NOT USE PILLPACK, they are unreliable.
Not trustworthy for elderly
Had them send meds for my older grandfather every month they screwed at least one thing up you speak to many people who work at home and they say their gonna make a change and don't it's ridiculous no accountability especially when it comes to something as serious as meds.. the packs itself and the box with the pictures are great though
The company can’t be trusted
The company can’t be trusted. I have emailed, called, escalated to supervisors 15 times over 2 weeks and they won’t fix an error. Worse yet, what we see on the app is not what they see. So we are working off different data. THAT is sooo scary!
I’m moving away from them. They are not trustworthy!!
A terrible place to work
A terrible place to work. They do not care about their employees. They even have metrics for employees to meet on phone calls regarding people’s medications and lively hood. So dumb. God forbid you don’t meet them you’ll get a low score and an empathetic 1 on 1 meeting with your team lead who has no idea what’s even going on half the time. Management never knows what’s going on or is ever on the same page as everyone else. HR is full of robots who barely speak English. They can get nothing right ever and customers call in with numerous problems that should be a simple fix or straigh out avoided but Ofcourse it’s not. Avoid working here !! They pay more at McDonald’s or pretty much anywhere for less bs to deal with. Stay away!! Read reviews on almost all platforms for this company! You’ve been wanred
Can't process birth control....
I have a prescription to a generic form of birth control, nothing special about it. I've had it for a long time and when I don't take it (even on the off week) I get migraines. So it's important that I have it in hand every month. For the past year and a half since I started pillpack I have had to contact pillpack every single month to move up the ship date by a month because they always want to send it to me a month later. First they tried to blame it on my doctor's office. Made a whole appointment and everything only to be told that what they said was incorrect. Now I'm being told that the medication causes problems in their system because it's a 28 day supply and not a 30 day supply and it's a bug they are trying to fix. WTH?! You have been in business for 9+ years now and you still can't process birth control correctly?? I just don't buy that. Seriously, do better.
Not professional at all.
Every month I'm told I need a rx for a certain medication when my doctor dispenses 3 months per script. I just got off the phone now and was told "yeah, well, that's it, we need a new one". How easy for them to say. Did they reach out to my doctor? No. I was just advised to do that my response was that's their job and if they had done it properly we wouldn't be speaking. I was told to check back Monday. They are opened on the weekends. I asked why Monday when their open the reply was "well if your doctor is cool he'll answer over the weekend". How is this professional? If anyone knows how I can get in touch with management please contact me.
I’ve tried a Amazon PillPack twice in…
I’ve tried a Amazon PillPack twice in the last 2 years. They forwarded me the monthly medication packages with Restoril included and marked the package, to be taken @ 2 p.m.! It’s a sleeping pill and had I not recognized that I be asleep the rest of the day, or worse I would have taken it tried to go on with my usual routine of driving to do errands!
When I contacted them about this they didn’t think it was an issue.
The second year I signed up I was continually informed that my prescription was ‘not available’ due to the physician not ordering it. Isn’t it their business to obtain medications ordered to fulfill their responsibility? Obviously they really don’t take their responsibility seriously.
If I could give negative stars I would!
If I could give negative stars, I WOULD! Dealing with this company is a complete nightmare! Unfortunately, my husband and I have no choice but to use them because of our insurance. Due to their “Policy Changes” they will no longer transfer any prescriptions to other pharmacies, even if you need it right away. They make the local pharmacy call them to get it transferred. Even the pharmacist at the local drug store said how horrible they are to deal with. So everyone has to jump through hoops to get anything done, to save PillPack the trouble. That’s just one issue I have had with them. I could keep going on and on but I’m done wasting my time when it comes to these clowns. Bottom line DO NOT USE PILLPACK, unless you like headaches and being jerked around.
If you want to miss on important medications, pick Pillpack/Amazon Pharmacy
I have to say that Pillpack has become so bad. It used to be a valuable service and their Customer Service at least tried to help, but all has gone downhill since Amazon purchased them.
Today I had an awful and potentially medically serious experience, and my recommendation now is to plz avoid them if you worry about your own health...
Turns out that my medication repeatedly and silently becomes "PAUSED" in the system, as if I as a patient were requesting to pause it, but no I haven't paused it (nor have I been notified of them "pausing" medications that cannot be paused!)
Furthermore, this medication that must be used every week per doctor's orders as written in the Rx is being moved to be "AS NEEDED" in the system. But you cannot skip a week. The MD clearly does not write these "as needed" but as *required* every week never skipping a week. They seem to do this to make it appear that their missing a shipment is not their fault.
But Pillpack does all of the above silently, and now turns out that for this medication they have known weeks ago that they cannot fill, even though two weeks ago they just told me to hang tight. Now the medication again was silently "paused" in their system. Now why they can't fill? Don't know but I suspect some manufacturers are not working or stopped with them. Very weird. But bad, bad if you are a patient.
This pharmacy is ensuring that 1) you miss dosages, 2) you scramble later on, as opposed to having enough time to find a replacement elsewhere. 3) They are also doing clinically questionable things, such as marking a medication "as needed" when clearly the Rx is not "as needed."
They are also now making it much harder for you to move your prescriptions elsewhere as they now force the receiving new pharmacy to request the scripts over there, versus sending them to the new pharmacy on the patient's request. This is probably a result of many patients wanting to move their meds elsewhere. (So now, in my case, Pillpack says they can't fill, but they won't send the Rx to a pharmacy who might unless that pharmacy requests this -- and this is for an important med!!!)
Turning horrible since Amazon purchased Pillpack. Avoid, avoid!
PillPack won’t help Seniors with Donut Hole issues
We had a terrible time getting all of Moms meds straight with PillPack (PP). It took a good 3-4 months for them to get it right. Then changes in RX caused problems. But worst … the worst worst …. PP refused to contract with the NYS program for seniors (EPIC) that helps with RX when u go in donut hole. We contacted PP monthly for about a year to try & get that. But all we got was bull ticky. Repeated excuses & lies: Epic has to contract with us. No no & No! The pharmacy has to contract with EPIC.
I would NOT recommend PillPack. Use CVS or another pharmacy.
Customer service at PP is a nightmare.
Bad...very bad!
As many others have said, PillPack is a bad company and should be avoided. I just found out they lost a $6M lawsuit over prescription fraud a couple years ago. Amazon has started working with some really shady partners, which means I guess we have passed the golden peak for Amazon service now and it's downhill from here. -Too bad.
Shady business, not much for quality control
There doesn't seem to be much of quality control. They constantly claim that a prescription has been "canceled" or not approved, or some other ridiculous excuse why your medication can't be sent. Basically they hold them hostage and they'll want you to contact your doctor allllll the time, even though the prescription has already been called in.
I could keep going, but they are really an awful pharmacy if you can call them that
Slightly Better than Totally Disappointing.
Pill pack just does not pursue the refill enough. I have not have my full prescriptions for the last 4 months. They always blame it on the Doctor, but I never had this issue with I was using the CostCo pharmacy. I would not recommend this service, it costs more and they don't pay attention. The packaging service is great, but if all you medications are not in the package you then need to get some from bottles and the rest from the packages. You might as well not have them packaged at all. I am now awaiting for a supervisor to call me back to see if we can get this right.
completely incompetent
The service we have been getting from Pill pack has really been awful. It is taking a great deal of my time to manage this service. After months of being a customer, they still can't get it right and just refill prescriptions when refills are due, as any ordinary pharmacy does. I am now on the phone with yet another rep this month who is telling me we are only getting 6 meds rather than 10 in the sept 5 shipment. Just two days ago a rep assured me that the refills had been processed and we would be getting all 10 meds this month. Then I keep getting auto dial calls saying I need to call pillpack and when I call no one has any idea why I'm calling and nothing has changed on the account. I just spent another 30 min on the phone getting the refills straightened out and although I have been assured, yet again, that the meds will all ship out I have little faith that it will happen which means I will have to keep logging in or calling to make sure it gets done. This time the excuse given for the issue is that they were processing some of the refills before insurance would allow refills. So the rep set the refills to only process when insurance would allow. Why could pill pack not figure that out and get all the meds refilled on the correct date so they could all be delivered in the packages together? There is absolutely zero value to getting only part of the meds in the packages. The whole point of the packages is to avoid confusion! Last month the delivery was late and my 84 year old father went two days without meds. It really is unacceptable. I would like to know if there's a government body I can complain to about this service? To leave an elderly man with heart conditions without his meds is unacceptable. To require so much of my time and energy to simply refill prescriptions is also unacceptable. There is no point in using pillpack if the company cannot manage to get all of the prescriptions into the packages every month. So if you cannot get ALL the meds into the packages every month there is no value that you bring to the market. Someone needs to fix their computer system so an actual live person gets alerted when some of the meds aren't making it into the packages on time so that the person can figure out why the refills aren't going through so that i don't have to spend several hours on the phone sorting this out every couple of months.
This is quite literally the worst…
This is quite literally the worst online experience I have ever had. They are incredibly difficult to work with. Send out prescriptions at random times. I would have to call every single month with a different issue. I ordered a pillpack and they sent me bottles?? They make it difficult to order over-the-counter meds in a pack. Absolutely do not recommend for anyone.
Pillpack has absolutely earned these one star reviews.
I've got to say, the reviews here aren't wrong. This is a good idea but an absolutely abysmal execution. If you're ok maybe getting your meds or maybe just skipping a month because they never arrived or arrived late, then this might be the service for you. Me? I'll be going to back to the tried and true method of picking up my meds at the local pharmacy thank you very much....
They send important prescriptions to…
They send important prescriptions to unknown addresses in different states accross the United States. Method of stealing your script! They have NO explanation for essentially committing a federal crime!!!
