Like others have said, when Amazon took over, service got worse. Amazon says they ship the box to arrive 2 days prior to the start day. 5 out of 10 time, that happens. The other 5 they arrive by 11... Zobacz więcej

Holiday Delays & Missing Meds
Was just told that they are behind on adding new prescriptions because of holiday delays. While I do understand holidays makes things crazy with shipping, etc. I do not understand why it is so hard for my script to go through with out me having to micro manage. This is medication for crying out loud. Early this month (December) I didn't receive my birth control, that's a very big concern, & now my diabetes medication is delayed....hmmm...I have been with PillPack since the beginning & have just recently been having issues. Now that regular pharmacies are offering shipping, I'll be going that route.
I have been a PillPack happy customer…
I have been a PillPack happy customer since 2016. I have loved the concept, and it has worked - until Amazon. Since then have experienced:
* lack of communication about refill changes and pricing
* ineptitude in updating scripts (calling wrong drs.)
* Inability to get account information updated
* getting wrong meds or missing meds
* and, the final straw - my insulin was not sent because a high price was noted. There was no email, no warning there was an issue, and I missed it and wound up in the ER.
I was told it was on me to keep up with what they were sending and that an email that outlines what is being sent and the little highlighted text—to log in to the account—totally absolves them of any responsibility of communicating with customers.
The difference is that Pillpack used to do that. If something was off, they called. I don't know when it changed, but I was never told they didn't call anymore.
The conversation today went like this: "Ma'am, things change, and that's YOUR responsibility, not ours."
So, Bye-Bye Old Friend
Don't waste your time!
I began this process on October 23rd online. Followed up by call #1 on October 25th in response to an email and spoke with a lovely representative who corrected the date of birth and verified all the medications, dosages and dispensing directions with me, checked the Atorvastatin through insurance and stated that everything looked good and the process should take no longer than 2 weeks. One week later, upon checking her online dashboard I noticed that it then was showing an error message saying her account was no longer being set up, I called again. This time I spoke with a young lady who stated "I don't know why you are seeing that, it all looks good to me. Wait another 2 weeks". So I waited. Around November 7th the dashboard was still stating "account no longer being set up" so, I called again. This time I spoke with a gentleman who was kind enough to go through each and every step of the process again, verifying MD info, verifying medication names and doses and times, running each through insurance and informing me which medications would come up as too early for refill. We discussed the medications that would be too early and the rep ran each one through Good RX, gave me a price and I authorized each one separately to be included and I would pay the Good Rx price for the first shipment. All good #3. Checked the dashboard the next day, it now says waiting for MD approval. Checked the dashboard LAST FRIDAY 11/15 - it says all meds are good and included in the first shipment to be received the first week of December.
TODAY, I received this email. Upon calling, I spoke with Kayla, who informs me that NOT ONLY are these two medications not going to be in the first run of her pill packs BUT ALSO THERE ARE TWO MEDICATIONS THAT WILL NOT BE INCLUDED EVER IN THE PILL PACKS BECAUSE OF THE DIRECTIONS AND ONE IS A DISSOLVABLE PILL!
I would absolutely love to know why NONE OF THE OTHER THREE PEOPLE that I spoke with mentioned this.
What is the point of ordering pill packs if the medication can not be included in the pill pack?
I have cancelled this entire process/order.
I should have believed the reviews.
Zero Interest In Customer Service
Zero Interest In Customer Service. My shipment never arrived. I called customer service and was told the could ship a replacement the next day via overnight except for a med which required doctors approval. I said please ship all of the others. The said OK. I didn't get any tracking so I called again. I was told they were waiting for approval on the one med I said to skip. I need some of the meds daily. They said even if they left out the med that needed approval I couldn't get them for 2 days because it was after their cut off time. I went through 3 layers in (non) customer service. No one was interested, no one took ownership. All they did was tell me it was after their cut off time and apologize. In fact Myra their "certified technician" told me to go get my prescriptions transferred to a local pharmacy.
Worse Than CVS
I got tired of the terrible service and long lines at my local CVS and then I heard about PillPack. I signed up with PP right after it became available on Amazon and at first, it was great. Now, I find it's no better than CVS in most ways. If I have a prescription that needs a pre-auth, more than likely I will have to get involved to get it done instead of allowing PP and my dr. to take care of it. And any changes made to my prescriptions means there will be problems... every time. They won't ever contact me beyond a single email notifying me of a problem filling a prescription. If they run out of stock of something, you're just not going to get it until you spend a minimum of an hour on the phone with PP and then usually end up having to have your doctor send the script to a local pharmacy. I've been out of one of my medications for over 2 weeks with no sign that they will ever fill it. They are the worst.
Incorrect Schedule
My mother is a senior & I tried to get her dispensing under control by using PillPack. After spending an hour on the phone to get the account setup & provide them with the schedule for dispensing, when I went online to review the schedule they had it totally incorrect-it would have caused her harm. Not to be trusted-canceled her account.
PillPack has gone downhill…
PillPack has gone downhill significantly since being bought by Amazon. I switched back several months ago and have had nothing but problems. Delayed shipments, trouble with medications, customer service being unhelpful. I am probably switching back to ExpressScripts. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Hope at PILLPACK was nice.
I called PILLPACK and talked to a lady named Hope who helped me. She was really nice. I got an email saying they couldn't refill my medications until I spoke to my doctor. On my dashboard it said my medications are prepared to ship and I have refills on all of them. Hope explained the email was sent in error.
Pillpack Service
I have been a Pillpack customer since April 2024 and could not be more disappointed with their service. Every month there has been a problem with at least one of my medications not being included in the Pillpack for no reason. Today I am experiencing the worst possible situation. My next month’s medications is scheduled to start tomorrow, August 29, 2024, and the shipment is just shipping tonight via UPS tonight, August 28, 2024. This means that I will not have very essential medications for my 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM medications because UPS does not deliver by 8:00 AM. When I spoke with a managing pharmacist, I requested that they pull the shipment and rush it for early delivery with FedEx. I was advised that they could not do that. I was offered two other options, the first was I could contact all my doctors and request they order this medication from a local pharmacy. This is not a viable option at 5:50 PM or they would transfer my prescriptions to a local pharmacy. This is not an option for me because I cannot do my medications myself; THAT IS WHY I USE PILLPACK, otherwise I would have always just used a local pharmacy.
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING PILLPACK I RECOMMEND THAT YOU PROCEED WITH GREAT CAUTION AND LOOK INTO YOUR OTHER OPTIONS.
Too many problems
I have been with pillpack for quite some time. The past 9 months I have had nothing but trouble with my meds. I have five meds that are all supposed to be 90 days and in bottles. I have had two meds the past 6 months that have been 30 days and at one time in packets. This go round I have three meds in bottles one for only 30 days and two meds in packets for only 30 days. When are they going to start getting my stuff right? Am I going to have to change to another Pharmacy to get my meds correct? Please start getting it right!
I've been with pillpack for almost 3…
I've been with pillpack for almost 3 years and it seems like every month I have to call before missing medication or a new medication that was prescribed by my primary care physician that has not been sent to me due to some kind of bureaucracy or some type of mismanagement of prescriptions.
Absolute nightmare
Absolute nightmare. 4 weeks they couldnt get anything straight. DO NOT ORDER HERE.
I would like to give zero stars
I would like to give zero stars. The two people I talked to could not have been less concerned about the fact that my medicine is four days late. I know several companies that deliver packages overnight, it seems Amazon can't find one of them. Today is Tuesday. I called last Thursday and Amazon said my pills would arrive on the weekend. On Sunday Amazon said the shipment would arrive today. When I called today Amazon said the shipper is telling them it is scheduled to arrive on Thursday. I've been having really bad headaches which I never had before. The pharmacist told me in the most unconcerned way possible that it was probably because of some of the missed high blood pressure medicine. I don't know how important missed medications are but I can tell you the headache pain is real.
I’ve been out of meds for three days…
I’ve been out of meds for three days and am now at urgent care to get a refill. UPS shows my medications haven’t shipped yet. I’m now out a $75 copay, cash price for my medications, plus my time. All I’ve gotten from PillPack is “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” while they charge me $24 a month for Zyrtec.
I’ve been paying for over-the-counter meds for several months while I’ve been attempting to get my prescriptions transferred to PillPack. The whole experience with pill pack has been a disaster. It’s supposed to be more convenient, but it’s just as much of a waste of time as dealing with a local retail pharmacy. 0/5 stars, would not recommend.
Daughter's epipen 3 days late & hot to touch
Was supposed to receive my daughter's epipen on April 6th. It finally showed up on April 9th in horrible-- but probably "to be expected", for being three days late-- condition. Epipens require a controlled temperature, and ours was hot-- like it had been sat in an oven, due to subpar packaging AND late delivery. Upon opening the small Amazon box, there was a 3/4-opened thin blue foil bag that had NO sticker, ziploc, or other means to ensure it was closed, and inside that bag was the epipen box squished in-between two EXTREMELY HOT ice packs. This is completely unacceptable. I waited on hold for 20 minutes, just to be told by customer service rep Jaseth/Jason that I need to call the manufacturer, because chances are we need a new epipen but PillPack can't do anything-- the manufacturer will have to issue it. I have no idea what my insurance will do about this; probably won't help me cover PillPack's mistake, so I might be out a couple hundred dollars now due to their obvious negligence with shipping and delivery. This was my first experience with PillPack and hopefully my last... I will NEVER willingly trust time-dependent, life-saving medicine to PillPack given ANY other choice.
Buyer Beware of PillPack!
My husband and I have been with PillPack long before they were acquired by Amazon. After the takeover, service began to decline. Several months ago my husband’s PillPack for the next month arrived five days after his previous month’s pills had run out. In his calling, he was assured they would be at our home the next day; wrong! They lied! I finally called them myself just to vent! I told them they had picked the wrong guy to mess up his pills. I explained that my husband had atrial fibrillation, and he had had two cardiac failures, and he very much needed his Elliquis! The next month’s shipment for me was minus two of my pills, and one of them they never bothered to inform me that it would not be included! We have moved on! Take it Amazon!
Great concept. Horrible execution.
We ordered pillpack for a family member that would be having 24/7 care at home. First shipment was lost in warehouse somewhere. Pillpack didn't resolve, Walgreens came through though. New medications were prescribed and sent by the doctor via esribe 2 weeks prior to a new month of prescriptions being sent. We called multiple times as the prescriptions sat in "pending". While we tried to remedy this with Pillpack, Pillpack sent the shipment without the new medications. The "pending" medications were approved for the next month. 🤦♀️. There will be a "pillpack" and then more prescriptions will be sent in "bottles" for us to sort. I'm not sure about you, but when a doctor writes a prescription, it's advisable to start these medications in a timely fashion, not 2 months later. Pillpack can not fill a prescription with 72 hours notice. Great concept. Horrible execution.
PILLPACK lost my shipment
For the most part PILLPACK is reliable but on 3 occasions I never received my shipment of medications even thought the tracking said it had been delivered. I had to chat with them to get them to send me another shipment and claim I may have to pay out of pocket for them to resend my pills because insurance may not cover it. I know it is more the carrier's fault I did not receive my meds not PILLPACK itself but I should not be penalized because I did not receive the shipment. If PILLPACK would send my meds through the post office like I ask them to but they send it AMAZON LOGISTICS or UPS.
They lost my shipment but didn't notify…
They lost my shipment but didn't notify me.
Then they put my account on hold because of it, also without notify me. Their customer service is execrable. The other end of the chat (probably a bot) said "I'm requesting our Quality Assurance Team review your account" but I'm sure that's just code for "do absolutely nothing". Horrible service.
My husband is a Type 1 diabetic and…
My husband is a Type 1 diabetic and wears a glucose monitoring system and pump. Pillpack has now delayed him receiving his supplies on at least two occasions. Both times the representative says that supplies were authorized but never shipped. If my insurance gave us other options, we would stop using Pillpack immediately.
