PICFAIR.COM Subscribers, BEWARE! Based on my experience. I subscribed at $59 about a year ago. Apparently, the fine print (which I obviously overlooked) said they could automatically renew my account and charge me double upon renewal, which they STRICTLY enforce, unlike reputable companies, who care about the look of bad, unethical intentions and their customers. You don’t receive a notice that your account is about to be debited, or that you will be charged double ($119.95). If you reach out to them about it, even if it's the day the money was debited from your account and you cancelled your subscription, they firmly hide behind company policy to take your money anyway, only offering to refund half “after you’ve told them you have unsubscribed/closed your account”? Then challenge you to dispute it with your bank…I would not recommend PICFAIR.COM to anyone if you value integrity and ethical customer intentions and service. BUYERS BEWARE! (Please see the original messages below I received from PICFAIR customer service). VERY weak integrity; not a company you want to have access to automatic withdrawals.
This was their response to my request for a refund after I never used the account. After they finally agreed to only refund the doubled portion (after I had already cancelled my subscription. This is what Rep. Sally responded, calling it goodwill:
"We're sorry that you feel this way. We are under no obligation to provide any refund under our site terms, however we have processed a 50% refund as a gesture of goodwill. This ticket is now closed, and we will liaise directly with the bank should there be a dispute."

Hi there.
We're sorry about how this played out, and we understand why an unexpected renewal at a higher price was frustrating.
To explain for anyone reading: if you use a 50% discount code when first subscribing, that discount is for the first year. After that, the plan renews at the standard annual price, which is shown when you subscribe. Your renewal price and renewal date are also visible at any time in your account settings.
In your case we refunded the difference between your first-year price and the renewal price, and your subscription is cancelled, so there will be no further charges.

I am tagging my photos and doing the description, by pressing the edit with the pencil on there.but then I’m gonna go to look at Preview. There’s nothing on there, so am I doing them for nothing?
How can I see on how my pictures are gonna be viewed with the tags description and the title? I’m not finding this software very friendly.

The reason we set it up that way is so you can try before committing, rather than handing over money and hoping it suits you. Hello! We're sorry the site gave you that impression, because creating a Picfair account is free and doesn't require committing to a plan. You can sign up, upload photos and build out your store without paying anything. A Plus subscription is only needed to make your store publicly visible. If the signup flow made it look like a paid plan was required to get started, that's on us to make clearer, and we're looking at it.
