This website is a scam!

Hopefully people will read the reviews before attempting to order anything from their website.

Orders are placed and an ‘order failed’ email immediately follows stating they aren’t taking orders at this time, and the £3.90 paid for the photos will be refunded within 14 days. This is to buy them time to take several payments out of your account. Chances are this is never refunded.

That same day I had a payment for £1.90 taken out of my account and immediately refunded by a company I’d never heard of, then a payment for £165 was taken out. Luckily I was quick at contacting the bank, but not before they’d taken £1.90 and refunded it again the next morning, trying to see if my card was still active. Fortunately the bank stopped my card before they could take any further payments.

The bank have started a dispute claim for the original £3.90 as unauthorised the payment but they haven’t provided the goods, and an investigation is being carried out by the fraud team, whom refunded my £165.

I emailed ‘Richard Davis’ on the advice of the fraud team and requested my £3.90 back, to which I received a sarcastic reply, stating it was terrible I hadn’t got my refund and it would take 14 days as they were in the US.

All bank transactions were done by the same bank based in Stockholm.

Please avoid this company!

Since posting this review last night, both the £3.90 and £165 has been refunded. This may be a coincidence or it could be as they have been subject to a fraud investigation.

I may have received all my money back but trying to purchase some passport photos I required urgently has caused a great deal of inconvenience, time spent on the phone to the bank and the fraud team and awaiting a replacement cash card.

Avoid that website. Scammers! Charged £165 for the £3.90 order. Luckily TSB will issue refund for that as it wasn't authorised by me.
Google should check before they put them at the top of search engine.

Scam, please avoid! Their website is not secure, and they steal your card details. If you've already entered your card details, and received an e-mail titled "Order failed" promising you a refund in 10 days, don't believe them! They're just buying some time to steal more money from you. Run to your bank to freeze your card immediately, and replace it with a new one!

This company is a scam. Order cost £5.90, they took almost £65.

Do not order anything from this company as they have a silly requirement for an RMA number to process returns, and won't accept any without one, however they do not respond to calls or emails when you request the silly RMA number. They've ignored me for nearly 10 days now.

Cowboy company, please avoid purchasing through them.

I was concerned having read these reviews after I had purchased from this site but my fears were unfounded. My purchase got held up due to COVID and brexit, ultimately was returned to sender. After sending an email, asking for a refund,and waiting a week I was so pleasantly surprised by the positive response I received. The delays were due to the carrier not the supplier and once they replied to me I had the item I purchased within 48 hrs by means of using UPS. The customer advisor was great. I can’t fault them at all. The item was as described and fits perfectly onto my camera - telephoto lens, and I will buy from these guys again. Yes it’s misleading having UK phone numbers when you are based in Spain but my experience with them can overlook that. I know where they are now and I’m ok with it. My next purchase I will contact them directly and request UPS as the delivery company. I’m really really happy with the outcome.

PS to correct a previous review the website clearly states return postage is paid by the customer unless the item was incorrectly sent, damaged or faulty. This is no different to any other company. You pay return post with most UK companies if you just change your mind about your online purchase. I triple checked this as I was wary about the cost of returning the item to Spain but if it’s their fault they pay the cost

asked for advice before placing a big order for memory cards and batteries...I.received a '' we are attending to your request'' then despite emails... nothing...bad customer service

Claim to be Photo24.co.uk, yet are based in Malaga, SPAIN!!!

Offer a 14 day returns policy but you have to cover the cost of the return yourself.

DO NOT USE!!!

THIS IS WHAT I PUT ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE.
I bought a remote control for my camera which I received from Photo24UK. I wish to return it but I have tried phoning, emailing 3 times & no response. If I do not received the RMA number to return the goods then I will take further action.
Customer service is appalling.

Used their search engine to search for a lens hood for my camera. The one recommended that I bought was too small, was damaged when supplied and now I am trying to get the cost refunded they refuse to answer e-mails.
