After following up on my refund for 6…

After following up on my refund for 6 months, which Electric repeatedly said was coming, they told me to fight that I should instead fight with my credit card. I do not understand how you can have a return policy stating you will refund people for returns within 14 days - but then continue to say you are "too busy" to process the refund for over 6 months.

I emailed Electric 18 times trying to resolve this and get the refund I was properly owed after returning merchandise according to all return policies.

After reaching out yet again, Electric had the audacity to say "There is a chargeback dispute that Citibank sided with you. There is nothing else we can do for this order."

I cannot believe their solution to customer's returns is telling people they received the merchandise but are too busy - and contact your credit card company instead.

Bottom line: Their customer service does not exist. They make it your problem and lie to you over and over.

What a SCAM. As a customer for over 10 years, I will never purchase or let anyone I know purchase Electric again.

I have been an Electric customer since…

I have been an Electric customer since the early 2000s and that patronage ends today.

I bought $50 Modena Matte Black/Grey Polarized sunglasses from your company, but they don't fit despite similar dimensions to my previous Electric sunglasses. I tried to return them, but couldn't because they are on sale. Your website states: 'Send unworn, like-new products in original packaging, drop off with carrier, keep invoice and tracking; a return confirmation and credit will be issued within 7 days. Shipping charges are non-refundable.' This return policy doesn't mention sale items. I want to return these or get a refund, as I believed I could.

I received this response:

Unfortunately, items purchased on sale are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds.
 
We appreciate your understanding, and thank you for being a valued Electric customer.

Product quality has been on the decline…

Product quality has been on the decline and customer service as well.

Im a long timne Electric fan. I have mutiple sunglasses and snowboard goggles over the years. I recently bought a pair of sunglasses and I was dissapointed in the quality of the frames. They had a great return policy, so I initiated a return. It has been over a month now and my return has been pushed off by customer service saying my return has been stuck in finance.

At this point Im just bitting the bullet of a $100+ purchase. Im really dissapointed with Electric and dont recommend buying them unless you are able to see them in person.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Will not answer phone. Will not return voicemails. Will not return emails. And have not been refunded for a return that they received over two weeks ago

No customer service

There is no response from customer service - despite numerous emails and calls to customer service including voice messages etc. Super frustrating as this is the second purchase we’ve had the same issue with. Have now returned the glasses and am waiting for the refund. Won’t be purchasing from Electric again that’s for sure. Sorry folks you lost a loyal customer!

Zero stars if I could

Zero stars if I could. Glasses are great but their customer service is horrible.

I've been chasing a refund down for months now.

Refund you have to chase

They have very little retailers.. but if you buy directly from the website it’ll take you 3-5 emails, 2 phone calls with them telling you they changed systems, but nearly 3 weeks to get your refund if you get it … still waiting and not stoked about the lack of concern or ability for them to do anything except tell me to wait another week… crazy … don’t buy from their website fund a retailer as their products are well made and affordable but stupid their company can’t refund people within 7 days of return

I am out $250 and cannot reach anyone at the company

I had $250 sunglasses (the most I have ever spent on a pair) and upon wearing once, the material warped in the sun and the glasses sat crooked on my bridge of my nose. I took them to an optometrist to reshape twice and it happened again and again. The glasses were almost brand new and under warranty and I contacted the company and have an email chain telling me to send them in. I paid to mail them in January 2025 and once I did I was told I could select another pair. I then began six months of emailing and attempting to call their "customer service" number, and even paid to mail a letter certified mail which was received and nobody will return my emails or phone calls. I threatened to get a lawyer, etc. and still after 6 months, I cannot get anyone to respond. This company is a complete scam and I am now deciding what to do next. They have my $250 sunglasses still! I have no idea how this company could be in business still and cannot imagine how there can be employees who will not answer the phone or communicate. I have never seen anything like this before.

Do not buy anything from them

Do not buy anything from them! I ordered 2 pairs of ski goggles and one of them arrived damaged. I contacted them twice regarding and that I wanted to return them and have been completely ignored. Now trying to get my money back via a credit card dispute but they are trying their best to not make that happen as well.

Please do not buy from this company

Please do not buy from this company! I ordered some sunglasses for my brother for his birthday and he needed to return them. We did so in the timeframe allowed per their policy and I even have the Fedex tracking showing they received them back. That was almost a month and a half ago now. I have not gotten a refund and they will not respond back to me. I have made several attempts to reach them by phone and email and they don't answer either way! I am wondering if they're going out of business or something. They're awful.

I was there on December 31st to see JACOB FOREVER,AND "HE DID NOT SHOW UP".
This PLACE is a SCAM, A TOTAL BAD JOKE!.
They SOLD TABLES STARTING at $440 plus DRINKS.I purchased my entrance for me and my wife.
I messaged ELECTRIC LADY, (and or the ORGANIZER) and VERIFIED at 9pm to see what time Jacob Forever was to arrive, go on STAGE AND THEY SAID AROUND MIDNIGHT.

Since I did not want to miss the the MAIN SHOW and I had to CANCEL MY DINNER ARRANGEMENTS near by instead.
I arrived at ELECTRIC LADY at 11:30pm and LEFT AT 3:00AM, ***JACOB FOREVER NEVER SHOWED***.This PLACE IS A TOTAL JOKE, up until appr. 2:00am the DJ'S NEVER EVEN MENTIONED THE SHOW, to the point that I was in doubt if he was PERFORMING there that night. They NEVER SAID A WORD ABOUT JACOB FOREVER throughout the night form 11:30pm that I arrived UNTIL APPR.2AM.
I was so confused and concerned since I do know how these events work,(I have been to many of these events),that I stepped to the administration in charge in the Club and inquired.
They ASSURED ME "JACOB FOREVER" BE THERE BETWEEN 12AM-12:30, they said that is the time he always shows up.
At that point they DJ did account several
times , "JACOB IS ON THE WAY" ,the DJ REPEATED THIS SEVERAL TIMES.I left at 3:am, the Club had maybe 2--30 persons in it,SINCE IT DOES CLOSE AT 3:AM

Similar experience to Lance

Similar experience to Lance. Customer service is non-existent with Electric. Not a problem if you have no issues but mine fell apart pretty quickly, very poorly made for the price. Do yourself a favour and buy from a reputable company.

Tried to get a hold of customer service…

Tried to get a hold of customer service for a lost screw. I actually bought a screw kit but none of the sizes fit (beware) if you need replacement. It was just out of the blue that a screw was missing or backed out of the glasses. These are a good $200 pair of sunglasses and I own a few Electric sunglasses and use them for fishing. Regardless, after several messages and being told it would take at least 7 days to get back to me. My original message 08/29/20 they responded 09/01/20 and i've sent a follow up email and still, no response and its 09/17/20. 2-Star for lack of customer service otherwise i like there sunglasses but not at this costs, durability and customer service.

Good sunglasses, just a bit overpriced

is my 3rd pair of electric; what to say: are lightweight, nice lenses and durable. One time happened that the film cover if a lens started to come out but they got life-time warranty so they replaced the sunglasses with a new pair. Cons? a bit overpriced, but good quality overall.

4 weeks use, no more googles.

Sorry I can max give you 3 stars for your reply 8 month late.
I do not have my Electric googles anymore, after 4 weeks of use
the orange sun protection was washed off, and the googles for no use anymore.
Between the 4 weeks the googles was stored in the original box.
:-(
I hope the new ones will be better.
