People deserve to know a shops refund policy at the time of purchase
My daughters almost 16 years old, so a minor and went into Phoneland Bicester to purchase a power bank to recharge her phone. On returning home, she discovered that I already had one that I wasn't using. So she told me 'don't worry dad I kept the receipt you can take it back for me.
So I telephoned the store literally just over an hour later and they refused to refund her, even though the items was still shrink wrapped and completely untouched and unopened. And I had the receipt with transaction number etc
I then went into the store and couldn't find any refund policy at the point of purchase, where you would expect it and as she was a minor you would of thought something would of been said at the time of purchase which it never was, hence the reason she though I've got the receipt if I make a mistake it's not a problem I can always take it back.
I took pictures of the store to make sure, everything I've said can be verified. I even showed the man at the desk/till the power bank was sealed and unopened, just to prove a point that I was telling the truth and he was NOT interested at all by my complaint.
The store does NOT deserve your business, I would personally avoid and take your custom elsewhere. Why would you treat customers like this and expect them to return? And why would you think a parent wouldn't make a complaint either especially when they are just a minor?
