Really good day on Salisbury Plain with Justin. Good training and nice attitude. The bike was nicely prepared too.

Cracking day on the Salisbury plains with Justin (SP Stig)! After the morning session in the field learning how the bike feels and how to get the most out of it we went onto the trails on the plains. Justin showed us the most excellent views and briefed us when necessary to get the most out of our riding and the experience. I’m chomping at the bit to book another day!! If you want to try off roading I highly recommend Justin at Phoenix training.

Great instructors and facilities. Some of the best trails and views anywhere in the country. Advice was there throughout the day but tailored to our skill level to avoid taking up too much time from riding. Fantastic day. Will be doing again.

Did Level-1 last year, came back for Level-2 this year. Had a great day with Justin. You couldn't get better for instruction, guiding and a great day out. Phoenix provide the bike, all the gear and lunch. Justin knows Salisbury plains like the back of his hand. I ended up with 6hrs of one-on-one tuition/guiding. With their instructor ratios it will only be 2-1 at most. Looking forward to going back again next year. No need to look anywhere else, best value by miles.

From researching where to do an off-road motorcycling day to receiving joining instructions, and then attending the day, Phoenix were brilliant. Everything was professional and clear. Our instructor for the Salisbury Plains centre, Justin aka ‘The Salisbury Plains Stig’, was exceptional. He was relaxed, friendly, and hugely knowledgeable. I learned so much regarding getting the fundamentals of enduro riding correct. He challenged the group as we progressed through the trails and gave concise and workable feedback. This course with the SP Stig is highly recommended via Phoenix. Find them online.

Easy booking process with convenient dates available. Justin is an excellent instructor with many years experience of trail riding to pass on. Started off in the field for the Level 1 course working on technique and bike control before heading off to the byways. With great feedback from Justin my confidence built over different surfaces pitched at the right level. Covered 50 miles in the day and returned for a cuppa and the I've ridden with the Salisbury Plain Stig sticker! A great fun day out with brill lunch and amazing views. I've booked Level 2 already!

Another great day with Justin the ‘Salisbury Plains Stig’ thanks again for changing up the routes. I can’t believe we made it through the water crossings! Complete novices on the level 1 experience riding dirt bikes with confidence by the end of the day!

Trail Riding - Level 1 Salisbury Plains. Instructors Justin and Sophie were very friendly and helpful. Justin shared his great knowledge and skills and was a wonderful guide. Highly recommend. Was a great day. Look forward to return for Level 2 course in the future.

Needed some basic off road training (level 1) prior to an off road trip. Decided to use Codford (Salisbury) due to its location and access to a good choice of routes. The guys at Salisbury were excellent, friendly, patient and excellent trainers. I leant the basics and confidence I needed to do my trip. Despite being a bit wet and muddy it was a brilliant day and came away wanting to do more. The day included an great lunch stop including in the price. We used our own clothing, although this available onsite and is included in package.

We did level 1 trail riding session on Salisbury Plain. All kit available if you don’t have or want to use your own. Justin and Craig very good and managed the pace well. Bikes in great condition and perfect for the task. Enough challenge to learn but not so much that it could put us off. Justin quickly gauges abilities. A great taster for future off road riding. Highly recommended.

I did the Phoenix Trail Ride at Codford with 3 mates. They provide all the gear. A nice preliminary instruction session before we went out directly on the trail. We then some additional hints, tips and instruction sessions before the next technical sections. Lunch provided at a local cafe with debrief, before going out on Salisbury Plain to put it all into practice. I admit, I was at the limit of my ability (at 64!) but always felt safe and well looked after. Special mention to Justin and Adam for their patience - "follow where I go" "if your at the back of the bike, you're a passenger" - great day! Don't forget, towel and change of clothes oh, and a bottle of water too.

Great experience, lots learnt and will certainly return for more training with Justin and his team.

Justin was relaxed and gave great instruction throughout the day. A complete change from road riding for me, but by building up from the field next to the main facility to the last blast along rut alley I came away feeling pleased with my new off road riding.

Salisbury plain has so much to offer and Justin didn’t hold back it showing just a little of it. Great bikes, great instruction and great FUN.

I have to say it’s incredible value for what you get out of the day and with no hidden charges - all the kit you need can be supplied for the day. I will definitely be returning for another day.

Beginners full day trail training on Salisbury Plain with Justin (Stig). Very thorough instruction and some creative exercises like the figure of eight of doom which taught me so much and I absolutely got the most out of the day. If you want to experience trail riding use Phoenix to show you how.

I really enjoyed the trail riding day. Justin has a wealth of experience and after his coaching I have been out on my own bike a couple of time and definitely feel like a better rider. More fluid, balanced and in control.

I did the Trail Riding Level 1 yesterday with the instructors Justin Trigwell ‘ Aka The Salisbury Stig’ and Adam Augustin . The whole day was very professionally organised , everything was very well organised , and I will definitely be doing it again with these Guy’s . I did my on-road training with Phoenix so it was a given I would chosen them for my off-road training . The bikes are superbly presented and prepared , and they they made sure I had the option to choose a lowered bike as I’m 5Ft 7inches and everyone’s normal height bikes are too high for me . The instructors were incredibly friendly and helpful , giving us plenty of information before we even started up the bikes , and even made us a cup of tea . I will admit to having been feeling very apprehensive at the start , not having ridden for 3 years , but Justin and Adam put me completely at ease , and it all came back just like they said it would ! The group ride was perfectly tailored to each of our individual abilities , and this meant we were all able to enjoy the correct level of challenge , without pushing us into feeling uncomfortable nor at risk of injury . Justin decided that I should try at least one of the more challenging sections , so he kindly took the trouble to go 1:1 with me up a steep rutted section , which I was more than capable of doing as I have ridden these types of trails/sections before . My confidence levels have recovered to where I left off 3 years ago , and I’m ready to do the next stage Level 2 . The guys built in lots of rest stops for photo opportunities and to warm up as there was snow on the ground initially . They bought us a nice lunch at a cafe , and it was very nice sitting around in the warm , chatting to Justin , Adam and my fellow riders. There was ample opportunity for comfort breaks , both at the training centre , out on the ride , and upon our return . The whole day was exceptional 5 Stars Guy’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing day riding the trails over Salisbury plain. All the kit was supplied, gentle basic instruction in the field for an hour then out on the green lanes. Good balance of riding and stops for briefing/riding tips. Friendly, knowledgeable instructors. I will be back for more.

Fantastic day trail riding with mates at Codford with the Salisbury Plain Stig. We had torrential rain and high winds but had a brilliant day.

Varied trails, a few crashes and ended the day completely soaked and grinning from ear to ear.

Recommend it to anyone!

It was so much fun and I was taught so much practical advice by Justin. From the moment I arrived he made me feel welcome and at ease. I am 73yrs old with osteoarthritis from shoulders to ankles. He tailored the day to my needs perfectly.
Good kit. Good bikes, the lowered Honda CRF was ideal for my height and condition. Excellent choice of riding terrain. I came away feeling confident and the whole experience was worth every penny spent.

I started the day with just one day of off road experience but 30+ years on the road. How little did I know.....

They guys were great they took me through all the basics I would need at every stage, they picked the bike up each time I fell off (I did it alot, always my fault) and told me where I was going wrong and how to correct it. It probably didn't help that the rain was relentless and the tracks slippery.

It was a brilliant day, I learned plenty of how to control the bike and how I should control the bike. The instructors were patient with me as were the other riders in the group.

Today I ache from using muscle I didn't know I had and I am looking forward to going again, ideally in the dry...
