These collars look so much more comfortable for the cats than others on the market.
I’ve only been using them for a few weeks but they look really well made with all the components are fully sealed in an ergonomic design.
The collars are quick and simple to remove for charging which makes it a lot less stressful for the cats.
One of my initial collars did appear to have a battery issue compared to the other - I contacted customer service who investigated the matter very promptly and sent out a replacement collar.
So far very impressed with the product and the company.

Recently my cat lost her collar and I turned to Support for advice on finding it. The support I got was exceptional, firstly from Llana then subsequently from Anna. E-mails were responded to within a day, and always felt personal, not Corporate Bull. Sadly, my collar couldn't be located as it was either high up a tree, or in very thick foliage. By using the mobile Homestation we were very close to it, but still couldn't see it. I have since purchased the Version 2.0, with. a beeper, which may have helped. For two years the tracker has been great, and very reassuring as to Simba's whereabouts, and the recent support exceptional. I can't speak highly enough about it, thank you all.

I couldn’t recommend pet tracer enough! The technology is absolutely brilliant, it helps us locate our cat every night to be able to get him in every time! He also likes to get himself stuck in other people’s garages, which now is much easier to find him!! Also a massive shout out to the support team, any question or issues you have, they are incredibly quick and helpful! We will be a lifetime user of this product! Thanks!

Customer service is great! Cat wouldn’t tolerate the collar, so I had to return in the end. The team couldn’t have been more helpful; they extended the returned period for me and even sent me an insert for the collar to try to help. Would definitely recommend.

We got this system for our two young cats after one went missing for a day after having suffered a glancing blow from a car. The system has now already paid for itself when the smaller of our two cats didn't come home as usual so we took the home station mobile and found him cowering under a hedge on the edge of his range, clearly had been badly spooked by something. Recently the same cat got hit by a car and we found him battered and bruised in a garden a long way from home, I'm not sure he would have survived the night as it was cold - he is fine now.
To get the system to work to it's optimum, get the extension cable and mount the aerial as high as possible, ours is attached the the chimney and this does increase the range. Also consider getting a second home station that you can use mobile attached to your phone, it is very effective.
We have also found that the team at Pet Tracer are very responsive and answer any queries within a very short time.
I definitely recommend this system.

After moving just 500m away from our previous home, we were incredibly anxious about our two outdoor cats getting disoriented. We bought two PetTracer collars for peace of mind, and after just one week, they have already proven to be the best money we’ve spent.

After keeping the cats in for 8 weeks, we finally let them out. Using the app, for 4 days we watched them gain confidence in the new gardens during the day. However, once evening hit, our older cat, Treacle, decided to head much further afield.

Thanks to the PetTracer app, I saw him cross a main road and head straight for his old 'hunting grounds'. When he moved out of range of our base station (about 250m away), I switched the collar to 'Mobile Mode.' Using the Live Tracking, I found him exactly where the GPS said he’d be, back near our old house!

To top it off, Treacle managed to wriggle out of his collar while I was carrying him home. I didn’t realise it was gone for 30 minutes, but thanks to the "last known position" on the app, I walked straight back and found the collar in the dark.

Without PetTracer, we would have woken up with a missing cat and no idea where to start looking. If you are moving house with cats, I cannot recommend this system enough.

I already have one PetTracer and on a cat who roams quite a bit and very street wise. However, I have another nervous cat who is just starting to go out and no idea where he is so ordered another collar so can find where he is.

Having these collars is a game changer as living in a rural location the radio is equally important to the GPS as often the GPS is blocked but I know they are nearby by looking at the radio strength. I live in an old property with very thick walls so have 2 base stations to maximise the coverage around the property.

A couple of times I have used the Hotspot feature for a base station to track the roaming cat who has gone out of range but quickly find him again by going mobile with a base station.

It is not the cheapest solution out there but then it does more than send the latest GPS location, the radio is the big difference and the only I could find PetTracer with this feature. The other useful feature is the ability to change the frequency of updates from the collar remotely if in range.

Lastly, with 2 collars, 2 base stations all purchased at different times have used Support quite a bit from PetTracer and it has been very good, quick decent replies that get me sorted promptly.

I have 3 cats, the 3rd very much an indoor cat but if he ever starts to venture out would have no hesitation getting a 3rd collar.

Fantastic collar and customer service above and beyond. Yesterday I was able to find my cat who was shut in someone’s house using only the radio signal and the help of the PetTracer customer service. I was getting no gps signal at all, without the radio signal he could have been shut in for days. Every cat owner needs PetTracer. Both the collar and the customer service are the best!!

I tried a different collar before PetTracer and found it far too bulky for my cats, they also lost it! The PetTracer design is much better, distributing the electronics around the collar. It fits snugly round my cats necks and the only time I've known it come off is on the odd occasion when I've seen them fighting with another cat, proving that the emergency release works. Another reason for switching to PetTracer is the battery life. Now I known where my cats roam, I have it on where the collar checks in every 3mins and a GPS location is collected every few hours. This is works great, meaning I get just over a week of battery life. If I need to find my cat (which has happened once) I can just change the frequency of the updates and when the collar next checks in I get a live location. I've even used the portable mode and a power pack when one of the cats lost the collar fighting and I couldn't locate it.

I did have an issue after 6 months with one of the collars stopping working. I reached out to support and Zoe was a great help, quickly confirming the fault and sending out a replacement collar which was delivered the next day. She even added it to my account for me and named it the same as my old collar so I only had to take it out the box and turn it on. Overall I'm really pleased with my PetTracer collars.

This is a great product. Well thought out and works seamlessly. The customer service was so helpful when I had a few questions at the beginning in how to interpret the location information for my cat. Now we can let our cat roam without any worries thanks to PetTracer.

We have had this collar for over 6 months now so I feel like I can give a solid review. If you want to know where your cat HAS been then I guess it’s ok, if you want to know where your cat IS, it’s not. If your cat does loose their collar it’s nearly impossible to find it. It does have a built in light and speaker to make a noise so you locate it, both completely useless. The gps signal I would say is accurate within 200ft 2 hrs after the cat has left that location. Radio tracking, more of a novelty and again useless in a real world situation. All in all while it has some functionality as a tool to locate your pet when you need too it’s not up to the task, if your curious as to where they go, then maybe. However I’m assuming most people will buy this wanting to know where their cat is, and not where it was hours ago.

We have been using PetTracer for several years following our cat going missing and I cannot recommend highly enough. We originally chose this company because the collars are so lightweight and one of our cats is very petite but now wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. The customer service is excellent - quick responses, polite, helpful and understanding. We recently upgraded to the new Home Station and have already benefited from the improvements. Our cat lost his collar in dense overgrowth with no GPS signal a few days ago but we were able to locate it using the mobile radio signal and the newly added collar beeper. A special mention to Zoe who has been in touch throughout the process and made me feel able to reach out anytime for friendly, professional support. Cats are wonderful not least because of their free spirit but PetTracer is there to make this a little less stressful! A brilliant company.

We bought Pet Tracer for Jasper who is one year old and a very twitchy tom cat. I chose pet tracer because Jasper doesnt like a collar and it was much smaller than the big tags that I saw from other online tracker companies. The customer service was excellent from the beginning. Really good instruction sheets emailed over and quick response to queries. It was also extremely easy to set up. Unfortunately Jasper hasn't taken to the collar and so I reached out to Pet Tracer to cancel my membership. They have done that without any argument or push back. I would definitely use this company again.

We bought the Pettracer collar for our cat Yugi and we are so glad we did. The collar works exactly as advertised. We recently had an incident where Yugi had not come home for 6+hrs which is not like him so we were very worried. We reached out to support where we received speedy and helpful response from Zoe Jones. She provided us screenshots of where Yugi had been traced previously by the tracker and also suggestions for locations to check using the radio mobile station device as he had gone out of range of the usual GPS and Radio signal. It was with this guidance that we were thankfully able to locate Yugi and bring him back home safely. We are so thankful for this support and would definitely recommend Pettracer to other cat owners.

Firstly, I must start by saying how delighted we are with the new PetTracer collar for our cat Sonny. Sonny was shot in October 2025 and suffered a badly broken leg as well as shotgun wounds - we’re lucky he survived, although it was nearly a week after the shooting that he eventually made it home. Following 7 weeks of cage confinement, then a further 3 weeks of house confinement, he is now able to roam about as he wishes, albeit with a limp! During his recovery, we decided we would only let him free if we knew where he was. We invested in the PetTracer collar and he wears it all the time (except for when the collar is being recharged). It has given us peace of mind, knowing he can be tracked, but has also alarmed us to find out just how far he travels every night!
