Previously had PitPat tracker. Misplaced tracker in house and couldn’t find it. People find it amusing that I can’t find the tracker.😂 A reliable tracker is important as my boy can be nervous and run away when he sees some dogs. I’ve seen a few posts recently about dogs that have gone missing. After doing some research decided to get a Pawfit tracker. Impressed from day 1 with tracking. Today my boy bolted in the woods. He has good recall and comes back when the ‘threat’ has passed, but I would have assumed he was just hiding nearby in the woods if we didn’t have the tracker. I was able to track him straight away with Pawfit. He had gone further than I would have thought. Was easy to find him and there was no need to panic as I could see where he was. So glad I decided to get this tracker.

Got this after an awful day when my dog was spooked on a walk and disappeared for over 5 hours. The tag seems to work well, tracks my dogs walk’s & whereabouts. Hopefully would be able to find him if he took flight again!! It is sometimes tricky to get to register a signal but just needs a little patience. It’s a good size for a small dog.

Works great but has a crap battery that requires removal of tracker and charging every 2 or 3 days max .

Unfortunatley the battery needs to be charged daily as it only lasts a few hours. This is annoying as I expected to last at least 24 hours. You may get 8 hours if your lucky.
Also if your in a bad signal area this will not show you where your dog is, if you can't see them. Also Pawfit ask you to pay £98 for 2 years so you can access account information. I believe this also protects if it stops working.

I've had four of these now, the original one and two under the eighteen month warranty, I've just had to purchase a fourth one I did this because I had purchased accessories for the pawfit 3 .
When the unit is working it's very good but if your dog is active and likes water then be prepared for the unit to fail.

I like the product and tha app. The only concern I have is the battery life is only about 2 weeks and then it needs to be recharged.

Hab nen neuen bestellt. Der funktioniert überhaupt nicht.
Der Support von Pawmist ist wirklich nicht gut. Mails hin und her ... Die fragen Daten ab, die in meinem Account stehen. Finger weg!

Always a great. Good product. Great for tracking exercise. Customer service is excellent. When my last dog died, I was able to get a refund for the remaining subscription and a touching response from staff. They let you know if there are network outages that might effect you. Product is easy to use, easy to charge, has safety zones for when your pet enters/leaves certain areas.

the device works amazing. I had issues with the first one purchased but the team at pawfit helped me replace it under warranty with no isuues.

Thiss service has made it possible for My cat to fulfill his hearts desire to be outside!

In the main I'm pleased with the Pawfit Lite tracker. I made the decision to start allowing my cat out for short periods and this provides me with piece of mind that I know where she is and can monitor her movements. The tracker in the main is fairly accurate but the location can jump around but does tend to settle down again. Good price for the item and fair subscription fees.

My British Shorthair got lost 3 times and we found him every time as he lost his bearings and hides away scared.

In the night and day, the alarm and flashing lights really makes finding him so easy.

Everyone who loves their cats should get one for them.

Pawfit lite is perfect for our small dog, he isn't bothered by it on his collar.battery a bit small, 2 to 3 days. Find my dog not so accurate. Bluetooth very vague. The alarm so quiet my hearing aids can't pick it up. But the walks are good, I could follow the trail.

Great product and fantastic support. Would have got 5 stars if the battery could last longer than 2 days

The tracker has helped several times in locating the whereabouts of my dog. It gives me peace mind, mostly, and sometimes heart in my mouth moments when I realise where she has been in the previous five minutes.
I have to watch if the dog collar attachment gets dirty, that the tracker is fully connected to it. A couple of times the tracker has become separated from its collar attachment and I have been tracking the tracker rather than my dog. I found it thankfully,because of the alarm on the tracker which allowed me to locate it when I was within a few metres.
There is a sounds which indicates that the tracker has become separated from the holder. However it is the same sound that my phone makes for other notifications, and I don't think it can be made specific for the situation of the tracker parting company from its attachment. It would be very useful to have a particular sound that alerted me.
The tracker recently parted company from its attachment when my dog forced herself under a fence. Because there was no good signal in the area, I was unable to relocate it.
I have realised that the historic image of our walk is inexact, as it is taking intermittent readings and joining them together. Mostly that is not a problem, but it can lead me to misunderstand the whereabouts of my dog. I believe that I could pay a higher subscription for more regular readings which would provide a more accurate picture of the situation.
All in all, I am thankful to have this piece of kit, which allows my dog more freedom that I could offer her otherwise. Thank you, Pawfit

The tracker works as expected - that is a lot in this days.

It is great to get GPS location of our cat when he is out exploring. My only critique is that it sometimes takes a while to get the geolocation. Also, doesn't send any alerts when your pet goes outside of your safe zone.

I am very happy with the tracker, given it's relative low cost and small size (suitable for a small dog).
Tracking seems good - sometimes there is a lag but it usually catches up quickly. I regard it as giving an indication of where the dog has gone, which saves me running in the wrong direction, rather than expecting the location to be spot-on all of the time.
The alert for when the dog has left the homezone often lags by a few minutes, but is good enough for our purposes.
Attachment of tracker (Pawfit Lite)to collar seems firm but am worried that the strap will not withstand repeated stretching to remove the tracker for charging.
The alert for low battery is at 20% but it would be useful for have a user-set alert level, as I have been caught out on walks when I have not checked the battery level before setting out.
