Ordered a trunk with 4 weeks until…

Ordered a trunk with 4 weeks until event (enough time for the 3weeks plus 2-3 day shipping time listed on website) Reached out to the company halfway through ( week and half after ordered) to get a status and they said the 3 weeks doesn’t include weekends (not listed on website) and they would move it to top priority and asked for the event date. I provided the event date then didn’t hear back. A day before the date I gave them, they said it wouldn’t ship for another 10 days. They only gave me some money back but I still spent $300 for an item that is now useless as I had to get a different gift last minute. TERRIBLE customer service for the amount of money charged. On top of it, when it came in the fabric on the bottom portion is weirdly loose and doesn’t look high enough quality. I hate that I lost $300 on an item I can’t use so now I will have to rip out the personalized stitching to find a use for it

Quick and Kind Support

I found customer service to be quick and kind! My heritage trunk came with the slightest defect. They were able to help me with the issue immediately. Problem solved and trunk is beautiful! I can’t wait to use it for years to come. I am so grateful for their support!!!

I placed an order around 8 pm and…

I placed an order around 8 pm and realized the next day at 830 am the monogram needed a one letter change. I contacted Petite Keep at 8:30 am and they said they accept changes within a 1 hour timeframe.
They would not help me. You would think a $700 order would deserve better customer service—-VERRRRY DISAPPOINTED in them!!!

The metal box was too small

The metal box was too small. The top inside corners were sharp and it was like a tool box. The hinges are silver and it was way overpriced for the size.
The fabric and embroidery was very nice, but not worth the cost. Very sad and disappointed customer.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

OMG, I ordered a trunk 6 weeks ago for my niece's bridal shower. About a week ago, I called customer service and the line just kept ringing. But someone texted me and I told them I was concerned about my order arriving in time. They told me it was shipping last week. I am now 3 days from the shower and they told me they were overnighting it. I get the email and they are only overnighting dust covers and the personalized lock. NO TRUNK! So now I have NO GIFT! I have to take a day off from work tomorrow (RN on a maternity ward), and I don't get paid when I don't work, to try to find something else. You know how women are, these women at the shower are going to skewer me for a last minute gift that will appear thoughtless. So I am socially ruined and out a full day's pay. And when I called, they didn't give a damn. So now, it is my mission to warn every one of my patients with newborns to never buy from this fraudulent company.

I ordered a trunk 3 months in advance…

I ordered a trunk 3 months in advance of my daughters birthday and I won’t receive it in time. Customer service has been hard to get into contact with and unresponsive. I had to message them on Instagram to get someone to answer me. They continue to advertise the product on social media that they won’t ship to me. Very overpriced trunks and bad customer service for the hefty price tag. They advertise on their website “over 1,000 5-star reviews” and I find that very hard to believe, seems like they pay for reviews or cherry pick good reviews only. Also, make sure to review their sizing info, the “grand trunk” is not very big.

I have never had a worse experience…

I have never had a worse experience with a company than I did with Petite Keep. Their complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and honesty. It is truly astonishing.

I pre-ordered a keepsake box on March 14th, with a promised ship date of end of April. This wasn’t just a casual order—it was meant as a gift for a deeply meaningful event on May 16th. I placed the order well in advance and reached out on April 23rd—well before the deadline—to confirm the shipping timeline.

What I got in return was a string of lies, excuses, and broken promises. I was assured repeatedly that my order was marked as high priority and would ship on time. There were “no issues,” I was told. It would “absolutely” arrive by my deadline.

Fast forward to May: no tracking number, no shipment, no communication unless I chased them down. Suddenly, there were production delays. Then, I was told it would ship by May 5th. That deadline came and went—no box. Then I was promised it would ship by May 13th. May 13th came and went with no information. Then I was promised overnight shipping for the trunk to arrive for my May 16th event. I gave them one last chance, and I surely paid for it as nothing was shipped.

They failed—again.

The order did not arrive. It missed the occasion entirely. Their "overnight shipping" promise? Never happened. The keepsake box I had planned for months in advance—ruined, thanks to their incompetence and dishonesty. I was completely transparent with customer service about the urgency of a timely delivery for the event.

And the insult? After all of this, they offered me a 15% refund. That is not just inadequate—it’s offensive. I paid for a product I didn’t get in time, was misled at every step, and was left scrambling with no time to find an alternative because I trusted a company that clearly doesn’t care about its customers. To make matters worse, I still do not even have the product!!!

Petite Keep has proven to be completely unreliable. They cannot meet deadlines, they don’t own their mistakes, and they certainly don’t care about the people they're selling to. Three of the four company core values read "customer obsessed, act with integrity, and excellence with every undertaking". These three core values have been significantly violated. Had there been delays in your production that were communicated, I am sure the situation could have been rectified appropriately, even offering to ship a different product as a replacement, but nothing was ever resolved. Their website does advertise 1 week shipping for certain products, but after this experience, I highly doubt that is accurate.

If you’re considering ordering from them for anything time-sensitive or meaningful from Petite Keep, don’t.

Avoid this company at all costs.

Poor Quality (even after inspection)

I ordered a $249 "heirloom quality" trunk for my infant daughter. The trunk arrived with noticeable defective paint as well as scratches along the hinge line. Customer service told me that this is not typical quality and insisted on sending a second trunk, with "white glove" service and inspection before shipment. I appreciated this but also checked with them to make sure the scratches wouldn't be on the replacement; they said it wouldn't have scratches. The replacement trunk arrived - with scratches along the hinge line, odd divots on the front, and three areas of very noticeable loose threads/poor stitching. It was a worse trunk than before.

I am still waiting on a refund and two prepaid shipping labels to return both trunks. I very much regret purchasing from Petite Keep.

Update: customer service reviewed the photos of noticeable loose threads, uneven seams (e.g., noticeable zig-zagging and pulling), a clear dent/divot on the front of the trunk, and the scratches along the hinge line and said "we are having a hard time understanding your comment on low quality stitching and divots."
