Ordered a 4XL Tall board shirt for my husband online and they sent me a 4XL Big. I have the order form that came with the flannel saying 4XL Tall so it was their error. I called customer service and I have to pay $10+processing to send it back , then wait 14 days until it goes back on my card. They would not wave the $10+, she says, because I ordered it online. Isn’t that how most people order??!! When I started to complain to customer services ce she said “have a good day” and hung up! I will never by anything from them again! I’m out money at no fault of my own. It’s ridiculous!

Ordered some blankets and a couple of doormats. I received the blankets but the doormats turned out to be on backorder, which they were not when I ordered. No problem, I email asking to cancel the doormats, no response. I call and say the same thing and am told they have not shipped yet, the items will be cancelled, and money will go back to my amex.
Turns out the blankets are $300 and AWFUL quality so I return them. 2 weeks later I start getting harassed by an internal email address from Pendleton about owing $49.50 for each mat and notice they withheld >$100 from the refund for my blankets. I explain I was told they never shipped and were canceled and am told to check my spam for a shipping email, which was not there. After I relayed that and asked them to pull up any proof they sent me a shipping email for the mats, they went silent.
Yesterday I called to figure out what was going on and I was called a liar and told I was making up the contents of the first call where I was told it would be canceled, even though the lady on the phone literally found the record of the call on my account. Eventually she laughed and hung up. So anyways, scratchy $300 blankets that suck compared to my $100 ones and AWFUL customer service, as in literal harassment. DO NOT buy from here.
Very Low Quality
I had heard great things about Pendelton's quality and purchased 6
sweaters from them. I was hoping to have these pieces for a long time to come. Unfortunately, I have no idea where the reputation for high quality comes from.
I tested one sweater by wearing it a few times and hand washing it. It had severe pilling under each arm afterwards. I have Walmart sweaters that have lasted longer with better appearances.
I also started looking at the crafsmanship. I had assumed, because of the company's reputation for high quality, I wouldn't have to go over it with a fine tooth comb for issues, I was wrong. The ribbing on the collar is not stitched evenly and has some odd scalloping as a result. There are also some marred stitches in the body of the sweater.
The other sweaters I tried on. The woolens are low quality yarns and quite scratchy. Each of them had weird cuts- extremely long arms and short torsos that do not cover. They weren't advertised as cropped sweaters, which is what they are. I also ordered up to have a cozier fit- so a really weird experience to try on long armed mini sweater after mini sweater.
The automated customer service is lacking and a joke, but once I finally reached a representative he was professional and understanding, and helped me arrange a return for the defective item and the other sweaters too.
I can't recommend the clothing this company offers at all. It is low quality, poorly made, and has inaccurate sizing. Much overpriced for what it offers. If I saw these sweaters in a thrift store for a dollar, I'd leave them there.

For a company that charges hundreds of dollars for its products and then makes it out of poor quality fabric and rips off native American heritage. It has the worst return policy ever charging you $10 per return and they do not offer free exchanges on the same product. So you have no choice but to eat this return policy money. I will never be ordering from them again. Get real. It's almost 2024. Nobody needs to be charged $10 for a return when you're charging hundreds of dollars for your clothing
Purposeful bait and switch
Usually love Pendleton, but the quality and, as many have noted, the customer service has declined severely in recent years. My latest issue is with buying a blanket online and receiving a blanket that does not match the description. The blanket I ordered was supposed to have different patterns on each side (a primary selling point, according to the website) and be made in the US. The blanket I received was imported and, more importantly to me, features the same pattern on both sides. Pendleton's website shows photos of the older style--at a far elevated price--and yet customer service told me that's not the blanket being sold currently. Why not update the website, then, to show the current nonreversible, thinner stock? And there's a shipping fee to return any items, including defective ones.
I still like the blanket, but I would never have paid so much for it had I known it was thinner, nonreversible, and made abroad.
Three times now and the order is still going to the wrong place!
Customer service terrible; a shock given the wonderful products. My gift to a friend was sent to his name but at my PO Box. It took a long time to straighten out and several calls; I had to wait until they received it back and credited me, then I had to order it again. He never got it in time for Xmas. Recently, I ordered by phone and the correct mailing address was not entered, instead it was set to go to the default place of where I last sent an order; I caught this when I got a confirmation about the order from Pendleton; they assured me the address to be sent to was being corrected. But, today I received a confirmation that it was delivered; and it was delivered to the incorrect address they had said they had corrected. They have the worst customer service, they can't get an order right, and they don't have mailing options such as UPS to the home and not postsure, or Fed ex. I have had so much hassle and used so much time trying to correct their foul ups.
No refund on item they say they have…
No refund on item they say they have which I returned. Perfect condition, tags on. On 9/11 they said would it take 5 days, it’s 9/27 today, unreturned email for recent question about refund. I’ve been a loyal fan for ages and don’t appreciate the herding of their returns department cats. I’ll take this down once I’m refunded.

For the price of these products, the customer service is absolutely the worst I have experienced in a very long time.
I bought a gift that needs to be exchanged for a smaller size. I have requested a return label 4 times now. Each time I’m told to watch for a separate UPS email with my label.. but that email does not come. Shop elsewhere for gifts!
Disappointing Experience
I ordered a king quilt for full price that went on sale for 30% off before I even received it. They have a Google form on their website where you can request a price adjustment. I filled it out but never heard anything. The last day of their sale I put in a phone call just to make sure and was assured by the rep they were putting through the credit for the 30%. Weeks later, no credit. I called and was curtly told it was "denied." I NEVER ask to speak with a manager but this time I did. They finally agreed to the price adjustment (i.e., agreed to abide by their stated policy!) but when I got the credit it was some random amount, not 30%. Why would I ever shop with them again lol? Not worth the hassle. Oh and also, despite washing the quilt once according to instructions, it shrank lengthwise and barely covers my mattress now (no I don't have a California King, just a regular king).
The shirt's construction was of poor…
Pendleton's warranty means nothing. If you have troubles with your purchase losing a button, for instance, they will do nothing to help you.
Bad customer service!
I traveled from Portland to try out the Centralia Outlet in Washington. I was at the check out. The redheaded lady was very curt with me as she made a mistake with her hand written receipt and had to rewrite another one... I had changed my selection (they were gifts for my sons and I was texting their wives for information), she tore off her jacket and huffed as she turned away from me!
I didn't want this lady going off on me and requested another sale person. The young man agreed to help me and worked very well with me. He was understanding of my purchase and even polite as he was hand writing the new receipt!
I will NEVER let the lady help me again!
And the young man SAVED this purchase for Pendleton Outlet!

Poor help with returns
I ordered a leather/wool tote online. When I received it, the tote was wool/canvas. I tried the online return process but would not take my account information. I have now called CS twice for a return code to be sent to my email. I understood that it would take up to 48 hours to receive that email from UPS. Over 48 hours now, called CS again, told to wait another 48 hours. I would not have expected such poor CS from Pendleton.
Impossible to contact
No answer to emails and they won’t answer the phone. Being on hold for an hour before being cut off is not acceptable. It’s literally impossible to contact this company.
Awful company
Awful company. As other reviews have noted, customer service is useless. Emails go days and even weeks without a response, requiring multiple follow ups. And when an associate finally bothers to respond, they’re about as useful as a chocolate teapot. 0/10 experience, will never purchase anything from this company ever again.
Suggesting this company is within EU falsely
This company has the address .eu which would lead one to believe they are operating within the European financial zone.
This is not the case.
After receiving the item I was then sent a bill from customs in Sweden for tax and duty for a high % of the purchase price.
The website is purposefully misleading in order to attract sales from within the EU.
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. No item delivered despite requesting next day delivery. Emailed them multiple times, have saturated their instagram feed with my complaints, all I received was a Dm saying they’re checking with their warehouse and then nothing. This was an expensive item and this company is little more than scamming and stealing my money. I will take this as far as I can to ensure I get my item or a full, swift refund. This was supposed to be a birthday present and I have now nothing to give as it hasn’t arrived and I’m in limbo wondering what will happen: will it arrive or not?! Shocking and disgusting.
I will never shop Pendleton again!
I put my order in this past weekend. On Monday, I was notified one of the articles was sold out. I was disappointed and surprised I was not told that upon my making my order, as I would have chosen something else. But, I figured ,oh well. HOWEVER, just now, on Wednesday, I got an email stating another item I had ordered(the one I had really wanted)was sold out as well. Really awful service, as I would have originally chosen something else had I known…To find out multiple days later is really unprofessional. I WILL NEVER shop Pendleton again!!
I love this store
I love this store. I live in the desert so some things are not appropriate for me. I don't tend to buy the blankets and coats. But a hairband, a vest, tees, towels and mugs and sox ..I am all about that. Backpacks are beyond my budget. Staff is always friendly. Love the bags they give you at the store. Have shopped online. Good deals. But no fun.

I am writing a second review to follow up on the below. While the experience was not a great one, I would like to thank the members of staff we could reach, who were very helpful and communicated clearly and warmly (Lauren and Asib particularly, as well as whoever was communicating from the US with my other half). Thanks also for refunding our delivery fee.
Buyer beware!
I placed an order with Pendleton & after receiving no email to say the order had been dispatched, (even though their website states all orders will be dispatched in 2 working days), I tried to contact them numerous times via email, their contact form on the website, social media and even contacting their parent company in the US, I only received one response to say they were checking with their warehouse, then nothing for weeks, they then contacted me over one month after placing the order to say part of the order would be sent out with the rest to follow, weeks later I have still only received one item from this order.
This service is totally disgusting, it has taken over a month to receive part of an order, their customer service & response time is terrible, I have paid for items and not received them. I have been in contact with local & national trading standards regarding this as they are in breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If you want to actually receive items you have paid for then please do not use this company!
