Scammers like trying to get me to pay £420 .will not be paying o.a.p.

i have just received fee of £420 for cancellation which i have not done or agreed too definitely scamming customer i am contacting the Ombudsman for advise

I just wondering if anyone has paid the there so called fee ,had them saying the same as the other people I allegedly cancelled I asked twice for evidence but no reply I asked to drop the fee as I am a OAP 73 year old with numerous medical conditions one of which is active cancer I have to send proof of the conditions all I have is my pension I am trying like loads of people to get some compensation so I can have a bit better life but they don't answer emails I am just wondering if anyone has paid I cannot afford it like most folks

Like every other comment on here Iv also had a cancellation fee/email .. when I havnt even cancelled and clink link email (which in this day and age is unsecure/scam) there’s no name of person at bottom of letter, their phones are offline as have been trying for 12 months to ring on update of claim and can’t get through. They also dont reply to
Emails. Iv heard they havnt done well with claims so trying to get money from their customers to get back losses).
They Need Investigation as per other people’s feedback! Do Not pay them! I won’t be.

1 star is not low enough. I have referred this Company to SRA. 1000's of others should do the same, it is a really simple form. Lawplus .....Bunch of charlatans charging £420 for work not carried out and claiming I cancelled an agreement. An agreement I might add I never signed up to and have never had any correspondance from them. Can't get through by phone only email. Perhaps this is because they were tired of the amount of complaints so turned off their phone lines!!

Just received an email invoicing me for £420 pounds for a cancelled pcp claim .iv never heard of this company .never signed any agreement with them what a scam if there ever was one.

I have the same problem they're trying to get me to pay £420 for PPI claim I've apparently cancelled asked for evidence from law plus which they couldn't proof they need to be reported to SRA, SOLICITORS REGULATING AUHTORITY. I will be reporting them soon biggest scammers

Absolute scammers charging £420 when they tricked me into signing up for them.
Not heard anything from them in ages then the bill.
No response when I try to call them.
I am taking this to the ombudsman

Signed up for pcp early last year did not hear anything from them till got a for £420 for cancellation fee try to phone them no answer just a recorded message. E mail regarding the bill 12 times no reply now got a pending court order ... case is now in the hands of law ombudsman... one star is to high for them

Complete scammers I pay them over my death bed I want them banned form being a company they are scum and supposed to be. Solicitors there not getting a penny out of me can’t even remember signing anything from them complete con men

Received an email this morning for £420 because they cancelled the claim. My husband provided all info asked for but this still wasn’t enough. They have now stopped taking phone calls so you can only email. I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to anyone. I don’t even want to give a 1*.

Signed up to a no win no fee PPI claim and they are now claiming I have cancelled or breeched agreemement and trying to invoice me £420 whilst threatening legal proceedings if I don’t pay. Clear set up and absolute scam trapping people . This really needs to be flagged as unethical !

There a nightmare stay away all they wanna do is charge 420 quid will not answer phone calls and just constantly automated emails stating what you’ve done wrong now in hands of legal ombudsman

They have been hounding me whilst I’m out of country after having another cancer scare and living 2 family members and on verge of breakdown
I asked them no communication whilst I’m away but every day they have emailed
They say I cancelled the agreement but I’ve not had any communication from then on 18 months
I presumed I’d just asked if I was eligible but they signed me up
There are so many people with same generic emails as me
I have now reported them to Legsl Ombudsman

I had the same problem as all of you guys.
I had not heard anything from this company regarding a claim for 3 years- no correspondence whatsoever.
Fortunately for me, the finance company has made it clear who is dealing with my claim, and it is certainly not these scammers.
I refuse to be bullied, and this is the email I sent them.
Further to your hassement of £420.00 for cancellation, I have no interest in paying this and am more than happy for this to go to court.

I have written evidence from the finance company that you are not dealing with this claim and that I have had no correspondence from you whatsoever in the last 3 years or evidence of any work carried out.

I will not be bullied by your company and am fully aware that several people are filing the same complaint against your company.

If you continue to hassle me, you will be reported and given very bad reviews on every social media platform, and I will report you to every media outlet possible

You go to a Solicitor for help not to get ripped off
They have send me a invoice for £420.00 they said I have cancelled my agreement why would I cancel a no win no fee agreement this is so bad for a solicitor to do this to people they should be struck off.

Lawplus solicitors have been unhelpful and unwilling to help regarding claiming back mis sold PCP finance. I fell into the trap similar people have done being signed up to another company in error. Because of how long all this has been going on.

I found out I had to cancel with another company. Which I did. After being honest and informing Lawplus only to be told I had to cancel my agreement with Lawplus also. Lawplus did not want to represent me again because I took too long trying to sort the mess out.

Then a computer system problem at Lawplus solicitors caused issues with correspondence of emails.

I have tried phoning to discuss and told they don’t accept phone calls regards PCP finance. Then came the badgering of an email regarding bailiffs if I did not pay with in 14 days.

I managed to cancel my agreement with the other company and I have tried to reinstate my claim with Lawplus. The whole claiming of mis sold finance has been a farce. Surely if a company can see all my PCP finance history they can see any representation I have.

In my case Lawplus are more interested in there cancellation invoices than the actual reclaiming of the mis sold PCP finance.

It is my mistake I have been honest about have 2 companies represent me. Now I am ordered to pay £420 or I face the bailiffs.

Yet, I still have no representation and now owe £420.

Total sham of a firm advertise no win no fee then try and charge you a cancellation fee ie £300 an hour plus VAT £420 in total for doing nothing stay clear of this firm and all others do it yourself and contact the people who arranged your Motor finance don’t let these cowboys take half your compensation.
