A genuinely positive experience since appointing Parkfords Management.

As a director of our residents’ management company, I have been closely involved in the management of our building and know first-hand how challenging the situation had become. We manage an older, high-rise residential development with a significant number of units, and it requires considerable expertise and experience.

When Parkfords came on board, we were very open with them about the condition of the building and the challenges they were inheriting. A history of underfunding and accumulated management issues had resulted in a substantial backlog of maintenance, health and safety requirements and wider building management matters.

We knew it would not be an easy site to take on — but Parkfords have genuinely risen to the challenge.

From the outset, they have been proactive, responsive and willing to take ownership. They have taken the time to understand the history of the building, identify priorities, obtain quotations, progress health and safety actions and begin working through the wider building safety requirements.

Their communication has also been excellent. Questions are answered, issues are followed up and, importantly, there is a genuine sense that things are being progressed rather than simply being pushed into the future.

What I particularly appreciate is the combination of expertise and attitude. Managing a complex older building requires much more than routine property administration. It requires proper planning, technical understanding and the confidence to tackle difficult issues — and Parkfords have demonstrated all of these from the beginning.

There is still a lot of work ahead, but the difference is already clear. We finally feel that the building has a managing agent with the expertise, commitment and determination to move things forward.

I would happily recommend Parkfords to other residential developments, particularly those facing complex management challenges or inherited issues.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Kay Quinlan at Parkfords over multple sites and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Kay is exceptionally responsive – any queries or issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day communication.

Her communication throughout has been clear, professional, and proactive. She keeps you informed at every stage and is always approachable and helpful, no matter the situation.

Parkfords are hopeless. They are not only lax in fixing serious issues (such as lifts not working in 6 floor building, questions on water quality etc) but they are extravagant with the truth and a "little confused" on maintenance issues progress.

Lift breaking regularly in block. Extremely poor communication. No one gets back to you, despite saying they will. We have had to chase many times. We have been lied to and told that it would be fixed in a certain date, only for it to not be fixed. We were told they had the part needed, only to be told today that they need to send out for quotes. When you’re recovering from major abdominal surgery and multiple bouts of sepsis, climbing up and down stairs is painful and exhausting. The lift has been out of action for more than two months over the last seven months.

It is always a pleasure working with the team at Parkfords. They are professional, well organised, and very responsive. We would highly recommend them.

I’d like to share my sincere thanks to Kay for her help in organizing repairs to my windowsill. After previously struggling with communication and response times, the shift since Kay took over has been night and day. She is incredibly communicative, proactive, and 'on the ball.' If I could give zero I would. Shameful and unlawful management of our building, the shed rooves have been shoddily repaired some two years ago and lo and behold due to the heavy rain, there have been massive leaks inside everyone’s sheds. Had to chase 3 times before even being given an answer. The answer being: ‘Our hands are tied since we repaired the rooves 2 years ago…’ I am now dealing with damp and MOULD on my belongings in the shed. Absolute disgraceful, I don’t even want to say management of the property since that would require some responsibility being taken.

Our property manager Kay is absolutely fantastic and a real asset to our building. She is incredibly attentive, always quick to respond to questions or concerns, and consistently keeps residents informed. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the smooth running of the block and the wellbeing of everyone who lives here. She is professional, approachable, and efficient — when something needs to be addressed, she gets it done without fuss. It’s a pleasure dealing with someone so reliable and proactive, and our building is undoubtedly better managed because of her.

Susan, has been our Property Manager (PM) for a couple of years or so now and is friendly and heelpful. I have always found her to be responsive and quick to react to requests for action on any given issue. Good communication between a PM and residents and vice versa at a given property is paramount and Susan is a good communicator. She also gets things done and quickly.

I had to deal with a fire alarm issue at my flat, was away which made very difficult. In a panic rang Parkfords and spoke to Kristopher who went above and beyond to help me even when it was nearly closing time. I can’t thank him enough 😊

I find it now very helpful to have someone to deal with the running of our apartments. Especially now with Kay Quinlan dealing with things. Finally, after nearly six years of issues with the leaking roof, she has sorted the repairs that should have been done in the first place. Yesterday, Kay was quick to reply to my email concerning our estimated service charge budget.

If I could leave a zero star, I would.
Parkfords have been ''managing'' our properties for over a decade. The MD washes her hands off the issues 11/15 lessees escalates and fobs them off to incompetent and ineffective property managers who are incapable of doing their jobs.

They are the greatest bane of our daily lives. We are constantly chasing for works updates, gardening and cleaning to be done properly or pleading for new parking permits.

Forget they ever come to perform site visits or have a f2f meeting.
However, they are very capable, efficient and effective at increasing our service fees year on year without any service improvements.

If you are part of a leasehold - do not contract them. They are god-bloody awful.

She has been so helpful and replys to my emails so fast. She is understanding and listens to my problems. Being on pension credit makes life very difficult and she totally understands. She is a joy.

Just the worst experience with this lot.

I won't go into the private details but I find it hard to believe some of the positive reviews about them and I take them with a pinch of salt. I would recommend looking closely at the language of some of the reviews (often the only reviews by that person) about the company. Then make your own mind up.

Kay Quinlan has just taken over managing our property. I have an issue with some damage done to my canopy and she was very helpful and solved the problem straight away, just in one day. I am very grateful she is the person managing my property now, you can rely on her. Thank you Kay!
