Extremely poor customer service…
Extremely poor customer service bordering on zero help.
trying to get through on their "HELPLINE" is a soul destroying ordeal.
Would have more respect for them if they just said " you've bought our product and now we don't give a damm"
Poor Customer Service
I bought a Panasonic tv from Costco which developed a fault within 6 months of having it. As it was still within the 12 month warranty period, I contacted the Panasonic service centre in order to get it repaired. To put it simply, they were just not interested. I must have contacted four or five different people in their customer service centre and each one just did their best to discourage me from sending in the TV for repair. In the end I just gave up and decided not to bother. But this is a lesson learnt. I won’t ever buy another Panasonic product again.
Utter garbage
Utter garbage, the worst TV I could ever have chosen. I can't even be bothered to list all the irritating fails, just writing this so that it helps to convince others not to make the same mistake.

Charged me twice for a microwave ,told them ,showed proof and just got fobbed off for 3 weeks. Put a PayPal claim in and got my money back. Very very poor treatment and I will never buy from them again. I'll warn everyone I know about them too.
Panasonic can be huge trouble.
It was a simple enough request......Can I register my product.
Firstly their registration page wouldn't let me access the drop down menu for where I bought my machine, yet insisted it needed said info for the registration.
I ended up on the online chat help where I could only seem to type a couple of characters at a time. I eventually found out I was wasting my time anyway as it's covered by Amazon only as they have discontinued the item (another new thing to know)
Unreliable cameras
I tried to contact Panasonic to discuss my concerns but to no avail they do not appear to have a customer service email address. I wrote a letter but do not know who to send it to - I hope a copy of my letter will fit in this window.
I have three Lumix cameras and each camera has two batteries.
1.Model DMC-FS30 Serial Number WL0CA001554
2.Model DMC-TZ60 Serial Number WP5AB001203
3.Model DMC-TZ80 Serial Number WS9GA002439
Camera 1 – it no longer charges – I do not know if the batteries are at fault or the charging lead is at fault or the camera itself is at fault. The cost of a potential repair made it a wiser buy to get camera 2. When it worked, it worked well which is why I purchased camera 2
Camera 2 – This worked well until all the lettering came off the option selection dial – I contacted Panasonic to purchase another dial but thy would not supply one– this I could live with until the shutter release started to work erratically – not a very good function when trying to take critical photographs. One feature this camera did have was the ability to shoot through glass where the camera focused on the object being photographed not on the glass window that the object was being viewed through.
Camera 3 – This was supposed to be my best and possibly last camera. The zoom lever has now stopped working. The only way to Zoom in and out is to use the control ring at the base of the lens. I now know it can get worse as it now makes and awful grinding noise when it is turned on and off as the lens extends to its starting point. This later version of the camera did not have the “shoot through glass” option – a step back in my opinion.
So now to my question – give me a good reason to buy another Panasonic/Lumix camera as opposed to purchasing a Canon or other brand of camera?
Panasonic, the home of basement brands.
I have brought Panasonic products for years but no longer.
The main brand no longer exists and the company now re-brands generic items like { BUSH, JVC, HITATCHI, EGL} have been doing for years.
Buying Panasonic once ment quality, now no matter the price it's bargain basement at top line prices.

5 year Warranty Worthless
Paid more than £2000 for a Panasonic TX-55GZ1500B TV from John Lewis in August 2019. Due to the expensive cost of the TV, I expected it to last between 10 and 15 years under normal usage conditions for a family TV. The previous LG TV I bought for £300 lasted for more than 10 years without a single ussue. Bought this supposed high end TV from John Lewis for the added comfort of having a 5 year warranty to cover the TV should anything go wrong.
Within 5 years a line had appeared accros the bottom of the screen so I contacted John Lewis to arrange a repair / replacement as bought in good faith from them and still under warranty.
A TV engineer was sent out, who confirmed there was an issue with the panel, related to "screen burn". JL have now stated that this is "accidental damage" and that it is not covered under their warranty.
There is no accidental damage, the TV is on the wall and has never been touched or damaged or misused in any way. Other than cleaning / dusting, there is no direct contact with the TV. The engineer said this is a common problem with these TVs when connected to a Sky box. How is it possible for John Lewis to sell a supposed top of the range TV, which cannot be connected to a Sky Box and where does their product information warn of this?
The upshot of this debacle is that I have been sold a TV which should not be used as a family TV or plugged into a Sky box and John Lewis will not cover the repair and want to charge me £1750 to replace the panel.
Extremely disappointed with the quality, durability and performance of this TV. I will never buy anything made by Panasonic again.
Even more disappointed with the attitude of John Lewis, who I thought were just about the last bastion of high end customer service in this country. They are still charging champagne prices but providing lemonade products and dog water customer service.
Avoid John Lewis and stick to LG or Samsung electronics if you want to avoid making a very expensive mistake like I have. These expensive TVs are not designed to last, you are better off buying a cheaper unit and just replacing it every few years.
Smart TV Lip-sync issue
UPDATE. Asked three times but Panasonic UK refuse to give me name and contact of their Customer Service Manager. I have now received a feeble apology from a staff member.
This is issue started with reported problem 13 June over three months ago. My advice has to be DO NOT give up and refuse to accept any fobbing off. Clearly Panasonic Customer Services ethic, in practice, is the pits. One wonders what their relationship is like with Panasonic retailers like John Lewis Partnership.
Smart TV less than one year old. Fault reported to Panasonic with request for some help. Messed around by them for two months; sending them numerous video clips showing the problem. At first they denied any problem existed. Then they ignored five consecutive emails. And after numerous emails demanding a solution they eventually agreed to issue a case number so the retailer could send it back to them. Email to Panasonic UK Customer Complaints never acknowledged and totally ignored despite numerous written requests for an explanation why such poor treatment whilst reminding them of their stated online Customer Promise. I did finally get resolution when retailer took the TV back but the whole Panasonic attitude was 'your problem' not ours. Lip-sync issues are common with smart TV's (even using TVs own speakers) and certainly Panasonic have no solution....other than to mess you about and hope you will go away. If they made TVs with audio/visual adjuster in the settings the problem would not occur.
Nice looking TVs however.
PANASONIC MICROWAVES - DON'T BUY! READ FIRST
I also want to warn others about PANASONIC Microwaves. I brought Model:Panasonic 800W Standard 20L Microwave NN-E28JBMBPQ from Argos for £85.00. Firstly, I must admit this was the second one I brought. I believed that the fault was just a one off - but not! My first one, had sparks flying off inside and had made the enamel or paint puncture on the side rim. Then resulting in smoke. Sadly, I had only just gone over 12 months, so had to fork out on a new one. My second purchase, which I believed to be better, has again just gone up the spout! I rarely use a microwave tbh. Usually for heating plates or the odd baked beans. Yesterday I went to use it (for beans). I heard a loud crack and then banging. I quickly turned it off in panic. I have just found my original warranty/receipt and it was 18 months ago, from Argos. I have contacted Panasonic, yet to hear back, but reading other's experience, I doubt I will hear back. My previous microwave lasted 15 years (diff make) and I only changed it when I updated my kitchen! PLEASE DO NOT BUY PANASONIC - they are dangerous.
Second microwave has gone wrong
Second microwave has gone wrong. I had one myself and it went BANG after 50 weeks so did get it replaced.
Purchased one for my daughter and that’s gone bang, both purchased from Argos and both not heavily used this time they don’t want to know and said they would call me back because I wouldn’t accept a good brand sells microwave that are clearly built to just exceed their warranty period. I would expect that from cheaper brand however shame on you Panasonic. You clearly don’t make products that are fit for purpose anymore.
Panasonic TV quality has deteriorated badly
I bought a Panasonic TV recently to replace a six-year-old Panasonic TV with equivalent specifications and found that the quality has deteriorated badly. Panasonics appear to be trading on their past reputation which is a short sighted approach and I will not be buying Panasonic products in future.
The new TV’s picture and sound quality are inferior to the old Panasonic TV (even after removing all the default energy saving settings), the system settings and other features are neither intuitive nor self-evident and the manual is inadequate.
The price of the new TV was less than the one I purchased six years ago and given the inferior quality of the new set I can now see why. According to online sources Panasonic’s lower price TVs are actually Vestel TVs rebadged as their own which would explain the lack of compatibility with my Panasonic DVD recorder.
Panasonic arc 5 shaver is a super razor but unlike my previous Panasonic this one isn't right for me.
My previous Panasonic electric razor disappeared so I invested in a new Panasonic arc 5. Due to disabilities and skin conditions I find this shaver unpleasant and although I upgraded to a higher end model I find on a particular part of my neck it always seems to tug slightly. The build quality is superb, the shaver is superb it's just not suiting my skin and I'm not enjoying the experience. I purchased from shavers UK who are extremely helpful but unfortunately their return policy is 14 days with product unopened. Unlike Philips and Braun who offer a 100 day trial. Never did I imagine that a rotary shaver would be the answer but the difference when using it is so much better. My only mistake was rushing in too soon and spending £193 on something that I really can't use. I am not suggesting that the Panasonic arc 5 is in anyway at fault and it will suit many men extremely well. However if you can't buy with a guaranteed return if not suitable I would recommend you have the peace of mind by trying a Philips or Braun first knowing it can be returned. Being on support income it just makes it annoying.
Doesn't last
We invested in four Panasonic etherea air-condition units, thinking that Panasonic is a highly reputable company and that the etherea models are their best.
Sadly one of the units has broken down a few months after the 5 year warranty has expired despite light use.
It requires the external unit to be replaced. About £780 including VAT. (you have to pay VAT on repairs). Panasonic offered nothing. “Its out of warranty, nothing we can do”. Our previous system, from an obscure Italian brand lasted more than 20 years so we are not impressed.
Awful delivery service
I ordered a Breadmaker through Panasonic Direct: The purchase was birthday present. Ordering was easy.
Now onto delivery. DHL eCommerce. Sent a message by DHL eCOM UK Friday - item out for delivery, a signature is required, must be in - can change delivery date. So I changed delivery date to Monday. Time given was when we were out so I changed delivery date to Tuesday when I could be in all day. Message received from DHL eCOM UK saying parcel delivery between 11:33-20:00. Parcel out for delivery - I waited all day - no parcel arrived. I then received notification that the parcel delivery had not been made and it would be delivered the next day (Wednesday). I therefore cleared my schedule and waited all day for the item to arrive - again the item did not arrive. During Wednesday I called both DHL customer service and Panasonic direct customer service. I spoke to a customer service representative and I asked DHL to change the requirement for a signature to either deliver to a ‘safe place’ or deliver to neighbour if no-one in. I was told this was not possible due to the arrangement of Panasonic Direct. I was told to speak to Panasonic. I phoned Panasonic direct customer service - initially told there was nothing they could do, but finished the call saying they would speak to DHL and phone me back - they never did call me back. I was then told the parcel would arrive on Thursday (on the day of the birthday, so now late). Message received from DHL eCOM UK - parcel out for delivery between 17:51-18:51. Parcel did not arrive all day. Finally I received a message on the Friday - Parcel out for delivery between 10:00-20:00. It did finally arrive, but when I unboxed the item it has a dent - presumably from being loaded/unloaded in the DHL van so many days in a row.
It is obviously completely unacceptable to be asked to be at home to receive delivery with a signature, 5 days in a row.
I usually order from Amazon, where I receive excellent customer service and delivery logistics. I thought I would help support the supplier directly with this order, but I will never repeat this process. Panasonic Direct your job is to supply the ordered product, intact and in new condition and DHL eCOM your job is to deliver this at a time specified. You have both failed in your jobs. The worst was not being able to change the delivery requirements, to allow the item to be delivered in a safe place or to a neighbour. Your policy is seriously out of date. Your service is only acceptable to people who are housebound (the minority of the population).
This is my last Panasonic product ever……
Panasonic used to be an excellent company and I have always had their TVs, hi-fi and microwaves. They were always the best. However, I bought a very expensive top of the range microwave directly from the company seven months ago and it has already gone wrong. That’s okay because these things happen but so far I have been without my microwave for six weeks.
I have made a complaint but this doesn’t seem to be taken seriously and in the end I have now just bought myself a cheap microwave as I have no idea when Panasonic will get mine back to me.
They seem to be farming out repairs to other companies who seem to be totally impossible to contact and don’t keep to their promises.
Panasonic have offered me 15% off another purchase of their products, but they must be joking because this is the last ever Panasonic product I will ever have. Judging by the comments on trustpilot.com I am one of many disgruntled customers.
PANASONIC MICROWAVE FAILURE
My last Panasonic microwave gave 20 plus years of reliable service as expected before relacement was needed. Purchased Panasonic microwave NNE27JWM from Currys on 09/09/22 for £99.99. Excessive condensation in use always required mopping up and door left open to allow drying. In April 2024 a large amount of enamel on the bottom edge of the frame was pulled away when the door was opened. Excessive underlying corrosion was revealed, further examination of the interior revealed rust blisters on the top left and right of the liner joins. Contacted Currys who said out of warranty and referred me to Panasonic who offered 10% off a replacement to a loyal customer, in fact this offer was open to all purchasers. This model must have an inherent design fault in the application of the enamel finish when considering the excessive condensation generated in use. I have replaced with a stainless steel model from another manufacturer which should not rust. Very disappointing that Panasonic have not maintained the standard of reliability previously experienced and failed to offer a replacement.
Company don’t Honor warranty, avoid.
Bought 3 expensive Panasonic televisions in 2020 with a 5 year warranty. The screen has broken just under 4 years later, they will not honor the warranty. Gutted that I bought 3 of these televisions as it appears they are not only poorly made but have a fraudulent warranty’s. Avoid this company honestly.
Panasonic have gone to the dogs
Panasonic have gone to the dogs. Two microwaves have failed prematurely. Customer services were extremely unhelpful and did their utmost to prevent a valid warranty claim proceeding.
