Dont Trust the Panasonic Brand

I bought a refurbished 55 inch tv listed on eBay by a company purporting to be the genuine Panasonic outlet 12/8/2025.
They used the genuine Panasonic logo and all the listing seemed in order.
The tv stopped working by November 2025 so I telephoned the company getting the number from the bottom of the listing page.
It was not Panasonic but GXO Servicetech who refused to collect the tv unless it was in the original box. I live in a one bedroom flat so the box could not be retained and GXO Carl Troy refused the return.
I chatted to Panasonic online until I sent them the eBay item number.
Panasonic ( 49193) are not related to Panasonic at all but a repair company.
My advice would be to avoid.
If I can deliver the tv to the nearest genuine Panasonic service centre at my cost, I can get the tv repaired but then I need to collect it.
The nearest service centre is twenty- five miles away and I dont have a car.
I now that the Panasonic brand has gone and that this once trusted brand has their tvs made by a lesser company called Vestel.
I will never trust the Panasonic brand again

Avoid panasonic should not be in business

Worst company I have ever had to deal with l. Still waiting for phone call. You have no intention of phoning me. You have not allowed me to make a complaint. I wish you all the bad luck in the world.

Atrocious support for arrived-damaged TV

Extremely poor support!

I ordered an OLED TV which arrived after about 6 days. The package was still factory sealed and in good condition. On opening, everything was present. I installed the stand and plugged in the TV. Once I was happy it powered up and could receive a signal, I felt comfortable enough to remove the attached screen-protector film. This is where the problems started.

I do not know if the screen protector left something on the screen, or the screen below was damaged, but there were very visible issues with the screen. Large patches of matte and glossy covering were visible. I am not sure which was meant to be correct for the screen, it was not obvious and there seemed to be no way of removing what was left.

I contacted the Panasonic UK Support web chat only to be told it was easier to communicate on Whatsapp and they would contact me immediately on this medium: This did not happen. I contacted them on Whatsapp and supplied the requested photos, serial number and proof of purchase. I was told they would get back to me very shortly. This did not happen either.

I contacted them early the next day to be told that a 'Technician' was looking at the photos and they would get back to me very soon. I said I did not want to have to go through rejecting the set but did want this to be sorted quickly and efficiently and did not want to have to wait another day for a resolution. I was assured this would not be necessary and that I would be contacted soon. This did not happen either so I contacted them once again the next day to be told that my case required 'higher technical investigation'. At this point asked to be put in touch with the refund department. This was answered by the statement 'refunds and replacements need to be approved from our technical and higher department'.

I looked up my rights and decided to reject the TV under the UK Consumers Act 2015. I filled in the necessary paperwork on the Panasonic UK website and sent the same documentation as previous. I received a reply saying that I should expect a response within 24 hours. Of course, this did not happen.

I contacted Panasonic once again 90 hours after sending my paperwork. They responded 48 hours later with the response 'refunds and replacements need to be approved from our technical and higher department'

It has now been one week since I sent the paperwork, 9 days after initially contacting Panasonic with the issue and 16 days after ordering the set and I am no further forward in receiving a working TV. I have a large TV and all the associated packaging blocking my apartment hallway. Never again Panasonic.

Having only had my microwave for 6…

Having only had my microwave for 6 months I’m told they can only send an engineer out at my cost. The wave guide cover is burnt and the machine behind is burnt. No where in their safety instructions can I even find a mention of this cover, I didn’t even know what it was. The machine has had very little use just heating milk etc we don’t use it for cooking just reheating and is and has been kept clean inside. To want to send an engineer out to mend or repair something that is now a fire risk is very poor customer service indeed. I won’t be replacing it with a Panasonic!

Panasonic you should be ashamed of yourselves allowing this to happen to your company but most of all to your loyal customers

Must be of low intelligence.the cable was wrapped around so tight a paperclip must have been used as a template. The microwave has to be held when you press the button to open door. The mw is white so the cable and plug is black??. The last Chinese built one lasted 4 years ,this will probably last less. Our 1993 British built
Panasonic mv lasted 28 years,

We returned a microwave valued at under £100 . The m/w developed a fault 10 months after purchase ,started sparking and emitting smoke . The MW was supplied by Curries and despite their own agreement that the m w was faulty and dangerous Panasonic refused to credit and replace . Understandable we would not accept a repair . Their customer service seems to be under instructions not to honour the guarantees on their product .

I will never buy Panasonic again

Our TV has never worked correctly. Panasonic came and attempted to fix it while in warranty. It immediately got another fault. Their customer service is totally useless, ignoring what you state, not reading emails properly and simply not caring about the issues. They wasted so long ignoring emails or changing the person I was dealing with so they had no idea of the problem. It is now conveniently for them out of warranty. I will never buy Panasonic again!

Bought a 4 in 1 multi cooker in October, the grill pan has coating that has chipped away, which is not good and not my fault,on contacting panasonic today regarding this they said it looked like a scratch/ impact no way this is correct, they told me not to use washing up liquid as it says in the manual no where in the manual does it say that and you can use in a dishwasher surely that is worse and to wash carefully
They gave me a link to buy a new one ,I said I don't think so it's only just over 2 months old ,so I said I would put a review for others to read

65" Z60 4K OLED Ultra HD TV Powered by…

65" Z60 4K OLED Ultra HD TV Powered by TiVo TB-65Z60AEB.
Ordered what was described as a new oled TV around 4th Nov, delivered on the 5th Nov I think. I had this around 2-3 weeks during that time the TV went on screensaver during movies and frozen often. The TV also didn't recognise hdmi inputs. The plug also didn't fit into the TV properly at the back - which should have been the initial red flag.
I contacted Panasonic via WhatsApp on 21st Nov to say about the issues and that I wanted a return and refund. They took over a week to tell me how to turn a TV off and on again alongside various silly troubleshooting ideas. I replied instantly with it not being sufficient and I wanted my money back. I had sent photos and videos via WhatsApp and called numerous times. Going into December it was clear they were delaying a refund. Taking a long time to reply. so I opted for a refund via PayPal where I said item not as described and obtained a refund within two weeks after this- due to Panasonic's none response to a filed case against them. So middle of December I advised Panasonic I had been refunded - as soon as they knew this they wanted the TV back so fast, received replies so quick alongside a nice threatening email regarding legal issues if I don't return it.
It's a basic consumer rights and they just delay it and come out with turn it off and on again - I said I am not a technical person and I can't fix the issues this TV has. Bought and LG - no issue.
Rubbish customer service do not recommend.

AVOID TVs that have Freely at all costs

Always liked Panasonic TVs so when my old Panasonic Plasma TV started playing up decided to go for a new oled panasonic, massive mistake, they work with Freely. with the app installed only option was stream the channel which was very poor quality when uninstalled got message unable to watch any of the itv group without freely, which you had to loginto itvx to watch. panasonic have clearly done some deal with freely which must be owned by itv, will never buy a panasonic tv again

Panasonic hides behind warranty to avoid Consumer Rights Act

I purchased a Panasonic bread maker for £215 in January 2025, expecting a reliable appliance capable of baking bread using standard ingredients, as advertised.

Despite following the manual, using fresh yeast, multiple brands of bread flour, correct measurements, and different recipes, the bread consistently comes out undercooked and unusable. The machine is effectively not usable for its core purpose.

Panasonic’s authorised service centre tested the machine only with a ready-mix packet, confirmed it worked in that scenario, and concluded the product is “not faulty”. Panasonic then refused a refund, insisting that customers must “adjust recipes” and “experiment with ingredients”.

This position is unacceptable. A bread maker that only produces acceptable results with proprietary ready-mix packets is not fit for purpose. Customers should not be expected to waste time and money experimenting endlessly to make a basic household appliance function.

Panasonic has relied on warranty wording to dismiss statutory consumer rights and has shown no willingness to engage meaningfully, despite extensive evidence and months of correspondence.

I am left with a £215 appliance that cannot be used in normal home baking conditions.

I strongly advise potential buyers to reconsider purchasing Panasonic bread makers if they expect reliable results with standard ingredients and fair after-sales support.

I Purchased a TV online from them and it arrived badly damaged. I Informed them straight away of the damage and over a week later despite 4 telephone calls to them I still have heard nothing from them in resolving the problem. I've asked to speak to a manager but was told this could also take up to 48hrs. So my advise is don't purchase from them directly as their customer service is absolutely abysmal and I will stick with LG for my TV'S in the future.

Extended warranty impossible to register

Extended warranty impossible to register!
I purchased a limited-edition Panasonic camera advertised as eligible for a 5-year extended warranty. Nearly two months later, it still cannot be registered.
Despite following all instructions, every attempt returns an error stating the product is not eligible. Customer support has been circular and ineffective, I’ve been passed between departments, redirected between websites, and sent copy-and-paste responses that ignore the actual issue.
This is not a budget purchase, yet the after-sales experience is far below what a premium brand should deliver. If you’re buying on the promise of an extended warranty, be aware the reality may be very different.

To Stupid

Can you star offering a zero star choice!

I now know why Panasonic staff all have shoes with zippers because they are all to stupid to tie laces!

Why does Panasonic sell a combination oven with an air fryer without a manual?
Do you even think that the person buying it might not have a smart phone might not have a printer? No?
Well, that’s the reason you’ve all got the zips in your shoes
