YAS in the Fiat Service department of Hemel Hempstead Palmers has been exceptionally helpful. On my visits he has listened and responded to all my concerns and I have felt very supported in the process of my car being fixed.

Faizan was really helpful with my new car.
Process was smooth.

Further to my last review still no response from Palmers no worries the repair was carried out by a five star company who informed me that comment Palmers passed that it was the wiring loom was WRONG all that was needed to be done (A) clean and adjust lock bars (B) the only part that needs replacing is the touch pad which is a cheaper fix.
The owner of the company that resolved the issue explained everything I needed to know if and it's a very big if I have the issue again
My impression Palmers are more interested in getting money out of customers than giving a good service.
DONT USE THEM, the off road specialist company was shocked when I told them Palmers labour rates for just one hour.
One odd thing when I collected my vehicle the receptionist said that they had no experience of hardtops so who fits them when a customer order's one.
Having been trained in the pre eighties method of customer service Palmers staff would be getting their P45s if I was in charge obviously someone doesn't check especially when I found reviews relating to security the one I really was shocked to see one regarding staff boasting about drink driving the night before (don't know how true)
All emails from this company now go straight in the spam folder and the number is blocked by my phone provider land and mobile.
Turns out one of my old neighbours had dealings with Palmer's and said if they had known I was going to use them would have advised me to go elsewhere.
Thankfully I have moved closer to a highly rated dealership.

I brought my jeep into Palmers as it needed a replacement reverse camera . When I got it back I noticed both reverse lights, both rear licence plate lights and one indicator didn’t work – I had to ring three times to get through to someone who said bring it in and we will take a look. When I did they said that it was a coincidence that 5 bulbs had blown and had nothing to do with the reverse camera being changed as they were on a separate wiring loom. They gave me a quote for £611.38 to change the bulbs, justifying the extortionate cost by saying they were "genuine parts". They were only light bulbs! I declined the quote and brought the car to my own mechanic who rang Jeep parts department to find out the actual cost of the lights and when he spoke to them, the parts department said, let me guess, reverse camera issue confirming that they were on the same wiring loom. Palmers either lied or have no idea what they are talking about. My mechanic fixed the reverse lights for £23.66 (the bulbs just needed replacing as they had been blown by the installation of the reverse camera). My husband ordered two licence plate lights at a cost of £12.98 and an indicator bulb for £9.19 so the overall total cost was £45.83. Palmers were trying to charge me over £600!

This company is shocking and I don’t believe any of their high reviews are genuine – I was asked to complete a review after the diagnostic had been done and I was told that I could only fill it out if I was going to leave reviews of 8/9. They don't deserve 1/9. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Faizan was helpfully right from the beginning of car selection till the end of purchase. All went on smooth with no hassle.

Absolutely awful, after many months of waiting for my car to be repaired (under warranty) arrived to have it fixed only to be told that the part needed had never been ordered. It has taken weeks to get a response and was then told that the part has been in for ages and I missed an appointment that I was never told about.

Palmers Hemel have had my brand new Fiat 500e with about 600 miles on the clock since August 2023. The vehicle has been with them for repair since then. It is now mid March and still i have no idea when the vehicle will be returned to me. I used to get a few updates, the last one was just before the Christmas break. Now i don't even get any more updates. Frankly i think they are probably too embarrassed to contact me and give me no news. 6 months now that a brand new vehicle has been with them for repair. with just a few hundred miles on the clock it just stopped working! All of a sudden, nothing. I am sure it takes less time to build a brand new vehicle from scratch. Not asking for much, just a definitive time period in which i can have the vehicle back. It is brand new after all. I will continue to post updates on here until the vehicle is repaired and returned in my possession.

Excellent service from the Subaru sales team. A lengthy sales process impacted by the loss of a close relative and then an emergency eye surgery was handled at all times with understanding and respect by Kiran. The chosen vehicle was collected yesterday. The first service had been carried out, a full valet and a couple of blemishes put right. Kiran had the decency to point out a tiny dent which he agreed to organise the removal as soon as possible.

Great service from Lee, very knowledgeable and managed to find a perfect upgrade for me from the previous car he sold me after 4 years. Will definitely be coming back & trusting palmers with future car purchases and recommending to friends.
