THEY were hacked, then their scripts corrupted previously correct Wordpress fields
THEY were hacked. But then they charged ME $654 to fix the exploit -- which is suspicious on its face. But they did not fix it. Instead, they ran scripts that supposedly fixed it, but never did. I then continued to report problems that evidenced that the sites were still broken. Along the way they fixed some problems, but not all. Then, a week into the outage, their "solution" for one problem (graphic wouldn't load on one of the websites) was that the Website was mistakenly making insecure calls (i.e., instead of calling using "https:" the calls were being made without it, using http: -- without the "s"). But this was an error that Pair Networks had introduced! Let me explain.
When I investigated, the problem was one that had to have been created by their "fix-it" script being faulty. Specifically, I found that the website being called from within the Wordpress Dashboard in the malfunctioning site (from two fields: WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL)) was "lifescreation.com" rather than "lifescreation.com" using https. The site had been working before (correctly using "lifescreation.com (with a secure path)" but now was not.
It was this moment that I was clear that Pair had not only been hacked, but that they were incompetent, because their scripts made to "fix" the problem had in fact overwritten information that had been previously correct and accurate.
In their reply on April 22, Pair says the team doesn't use automated scripts. That is contrary to what one of their support team told me.

Pair is not keeping up with business expectations - no way to connect to the Outlook calendar,
Extremely disappointed that there isn't any way to connect my Pair email to the Outlook calendar. This creates a significant problem in working with clients. Also the person I spoke with hung up on me after explaining that there isn't any calendar option with Pair. Now I have to search for a new provider and go through the hassle of switching. I am shocked that Pair is this far behind.

The system checks that SIM performs…
The system checks that SIM performs before installing wordpress are a little ridiculous. It does not seem to have anything to do with actual wordpress, but if your domain is actually reachable at that moment, which is unlikely for a brand new domain, but does not take long, but as far as migrating from one provider to another with as minimal downtime as possible it is an absolutely horrible.
Installing wordpress manually is fine though as long as you don't use SIM to make installing software on your website easier!!

Pair Customer for 20+ years
I've hosted with Pair for 20+ years. Pair has the best customer service of ANY company I have ever worked with, of any kind, and that says a lot! Pair tech support is always there to pick up the phone, and the person who answers is always a brilliant person who knows exactly how to help me. Every support person acts like an owner of the company. If I could give TEN stars I would!

I had a problem entering name servers…
I had a problem entering name servers with .cloud extension and getting the error message "An unregistered nameserver was entered". I spent 1 hour 23 min on phone with Jared. He tried to debate me that this was a problem with my web hosting provider. I mentioned several times that this was a repeat problem with your service not being able to enter name servers ending in .cloud and that I had the same problem on Nov 10, 2025 with Anthony. I eventually asked Jared to escalate my problem to a manager. The problem got solved after escalation.

all good. i had a problem thought it was pair but i now believe it is part of my ISP's issue where one of their legs that connect to USA was offline for awhile cause its been happening more often and not pair ...

The support was NO support. The tech punted, and basically said it was a Microsoft problem...no insight...not even a guess as to the problem. This is my fault, for not looking for a different hosting company a long time ago. It won't happen again.

I never get a quick response
I never get a quick response, the pair site is very difficult to navigate, you need to create accounts for every part of it, so it's a hassle to use. The domains, support need a separate login.
