Disgusting what Oxfam has became, prices are ridiculous and i often see prices for second hand items that are more expensive than the item costs new! Yes you read that correct! The online shop is full... Zobacz więcej

I went into Oxfam on 17/5 on Oldham Street and was served by Bassell who was very professional, polite, patient and even carried my bags out to The Taxi pick up point. He is a credit to Oxfam.
Horrible one in Whitehaven, I’ve never felt as unwelcome in a shop ever before. They are a horrible organisation now, I used to always donate stuff to charity shops, not now. I’d rather destroy stu... Zobacz więcej

Mombasa market
I would like to know why I saw with my own eyes a oxfam charity stall in Kenya selling clothes to poor people? I've noticed over the years that Oxfam is not the charity it once was. I just saw the price of clothes online and it's a absolute joke..genuine charity does not know greed..

Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest I can go as I feel that they do not even deserve that. Still waiting for Christmas gifts to arrive as ordered for Christmas for children to give as gifts of kindness. I have suggested that Oxfam try to explain to a child where there money has gone to support other prople. No response. No surprise. Last year we donated to Salvation Army instead. fast response, friendly service and we got to feel like our money was actually going somewhere. I note that no onefrom Oxfam has repsonded to negative reviews for over 12 months. Says it all really doesnt it?
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I am still waiting for an order that I placed on 6th December. The total amount was debited from my account the following day. Despite 2 emails and 3 calls to their customer services dept I have no idea if or when I will receive my order. Avoid.

Ordered several gift cards for feed the world type causes from the online store. Christmas present
Little did I know what a long drawn out process this then becomes, with claims the cards have to come from various high street shops.
No sign after seven days of the cards, just 3 Royal Mail emails relating to a gift of a bar of chocolate, which was not needed. That duly arrived but no nearer hearing about the several charity gift cards.
Is this an organisation that has lost sight of it's origins?
As someone who has supported the work of Oxfam for many years I'm saddened by how the organisation has changed. My husband who is nearly 70yrs and has terminal cancer made the effort to take some items into the local shop. He was looking really ill, on chemo, no hair, yellow complexion. A member of the shop team yelled at him across the shop to say they didn't want any donations, couldn't he read the sign in the window!! Extremely rude and offensive! Anyway, Age UK gladly took the items!
I'm disabled and housebound, ordered a set of tumblers online, arrived with broken glasses. Had no help to return them. No refund. We're pensioners who can't afford to chuck money away!
The dubious statements coming out of the organisation these days are concerning too.

Do not shop at Oxfam weatherby. The manager is a total witch,I bought something from lilkey one and the weatherby Oxfam wouldn't take it back.it all goes to the same charity .which in the passed had bad reviews.so please avoid this charity shop.also they save things round the back for dealer and take the money there self's . they are discussing .avoid .

If only I'd known how useless their customer service is.
For an organisation such as this one, you'd think a refund for returned items (sourced by Oxfam) wouldn't take that long. It has so far taken 4 weeks. I've now resorted to a PayPal dispute which they've told me I must remove to make the refund process quicker... Erm no!
Ridiculous company. Never again.
Review Bombing
Hey, I just want to say to all the people review bombing Oxfam right now - what?? Are you guys okay? They're an anti-poverty charity, yet you're getting upset with them being involved in politics, do you know how ridiculous that is? Poverty and politics are extremely intimately connected issues that cannot be separated.
Critical Race Theory has nothing to do with being anti-white, rather it is simply taking a critical look at the way race and racism play in to law and government. Grow up, Oxfam do some great work yet you're all having tantrums over their support of an academic theory that you know absolutely nothing about more than media fearmongering.
Racist
According to this awful corporation, every white person is racist, as of course nobody who isn't white can ever be racist.
I will NEVER AGAIN donate a single item or buy a single thing from this disgrace of a charity.
I have purchased many items over many…
I have purchased many items over many years from Oxfam charity shops, but after their support for CRT and anti-white rhettarick training for staff, then i will never step foot in another shop after this.
Absolutely appalling, and the only racist people are the ones pushing this B.S..
Racist divisive organisation
Ah yes, another organisation promoting the divisive, race-baiting critical race theory.
News for you Oxfam. Just because someone is white does not mean they are racist.
Never donating to you again, everyone BOYCOTT THIS ORGANISATION.
I never receive a dispatch email
I never receive a dispatch email. The customer service was also very poor from Craig. I was told the individual shop would be contacted for a shipping update. No one called back, when I called back an hour later I was told the shop hadn’t bothered to answer. I was then told to call myself and miraculously the shop answered immediately and still didn’t resolve my issue. Terrible service overall don’t expect much from them.
No dispatch emails, poor packaging
I bought a few Sourced by Oxfam items from the online shop including two rolls of wrapping paper. I was very surprised to find the wrapping paper had not been sent in a protective box so was very squashed on arrival. I did not receive dispatch emails and Royal Mail said parcels were arriving from "Your Retailer" which felt suspicious. A large company like Oxfam should be better.
overpriced
overpriced, overpriced, overpriced...more fool you...few people will shop at these prices...
New refund process takes far too long
I have been shopping with Oxfam online for the past year or so, and previously had no issues with my account being refunded when returning a couple of items that were not suitable. Well that seems to have changed. I sent my item back on the 28th Jan, and even paid to have it signed for. I only received an email from paypal on the 21st Feb to say my account had been refunded. I chased this a couple of times prior, and was told they have changed the way they issue refunds, and because of this refunds now take longer. Due to this reason I will not be shopping online anymore. I don't return much, and have only returned three items including this one, but one still wants to have a smooth refund process when you do return an item - over three weeks to receive a refund is way too long.
Disgustingly over-priced
Just having a browse online I'm absolutely disgusted at the prices, they are selling second hand mens Jeans (with buttons missing in some cases) for a higher price then they were new 10 years ago. They are either completely out of touch with prices or deliberately trying to rip people off. I fear it's the latter. An absolute con of a set up , charity or not.
Cheaper to buy brand new
Do they not realise the majority of people who buy from charity shops don't have tonnes of money and then to see the majority of the online prices are higher than retail price, what has happened here? Is it just greed because it sure as hell looks like it, I noticed prices was rising when I used to go into the shops but wow they're bad now, never met pleasant staff either if I'm honest amd if you ever asked for a bag to carry multiple items you nearly die by the look you get.... boycotting from now on like

Prices online more expensive than shops. Would rather go on eBay. Charities are becoming greedy.
No sign of Christmas cards
No sign of Christmas cards ordered on 6th December and no reply to emailed query. Why take orders if you cannot fulfil them? Never again!
Not Good Enough
I ordered Christmas cards on 4th December. Still no sign of them. Rang to find out what was happening. No adequate explanation. No apology. Oxfam needs to do better than this. A very poor service.
