Some of the worst communication.
Ordered parts, waited 3 weeks and still haven’t sent them, i emailed them but no reply, ending up calling them and being on hold for 20mins just to find out the items and out of stock but when were they going to tell me that.
Requested a refund but nearly a month later and still no refund or communication.

STOP! Do not purchase a single thing from this place!!!! Worst experience I’ve ever had buying from a company online, do you join this club of unhappy customers. Purchased something 2 months ago and after 2 weeks of still not being sent I was told a delay and will be sent 2-4 weeks later when in stock. (Never showed out of stock on website though when purchased) waited another 4 weeks and still never sent, so I tried to call, but no both phone lines were completely turned off so you couldn’t complain on phone (obviously they have copped too many mouthfuls from unhappy customers. So I send 2 emails and they both were not answered in 2 weeks. Completely unresponsive company. So I went through a lengthy process with my bank to get my money back.
This company is obviously run by people who won their position at the company in a chook raffle. Worst purchase/customer experience ever! Unless whoever owns and runs this place gets the flick, this company will end up going bust and into receivership and then more people will lose their money. Wouldn’t be surprised if that happens very soon. Just look at all the negative reviews over the last 6 months +. If I could give them a negative star rating here I would.

This would have to be the worst on line shop I have ever had the displeasure of trying to deal , I suggest you don't use this company

Ordered a rafter arm for my anti-flap kit. Took days to advise that this was on back order. Asked for updates and would only get an automated response of their high volume of orders. Send multiple emails for an update. Was advised that the order didn't arrive from supplier and should be here mid to late September. Still no update, even though I have send multiple emails and messages on their website. Ordered this in mid August. This must be the worst communication from a company that I have ever experienced. Do not order from this company. You won't get your order and the communication is non existing. Asked for a refund and still no update or response. Just lodged my refund with PayPal

Beware.
This company appears to be a scam. They don't answer the phone. Email replies tell you nothing. After waiting 2 weeks for dispatch notification that didn't happen I applied for a refund through PayPal and received my money back. Beware

I ordered 2 torches on 10 July 2026. Still not received them. Company will not respond to emails and they have closed there phone lines. Not happy.

Do not buy from these people. Three months, still waiting.

Worst company I’ve dealt with! Stay away! Ordered fishing hooks , said they were in stock , didn’t receive anything then was told they were on order. Waited another month and nothing asked for a refund and have been told it’s been approved and refund to be processed. That was also a month ago. I first ordered back in July . Actually heading to qld soon and will just go get my money the old fashioned way just out of principle!!

Order has been paid for 3 week ago and express post, no show as yet .Have sent 4 emails have recieved 2 responces with no sorry or where my order is. Still sitting as pick on webb site account. Not good service at all. Waiting

Piss poor service! What more can I say. Placed and order over a month ago and nothing. Sweet FA in regards to updates, tried contacting several times nothing or can’t contact on the phone. Hmm wonder why!

Do you self a favour and just stay away from this lot they don’t deserve your business.

Never again, no communication on order update. 16 days and no info on order and they say they can’t cancel the order. What a joke. Bank took 1 day to approve disputed credit and approved it. I reckon they must have priors in this space. AVOID AVOID

I will never use this company again. Purchased products online on the 6th Aug. Said the products were in stock but when i rang in the 20th Aug for an update said they weren't in stock and would take another 3 weeks to get them in from their supplier. Cancelled order and asked for a refund. Called on the 8th Sep to ask for an update on the refund. Said it hadn't been processed and that they had fixed it and marked it as urgent. Called today (21st Sep) about the refund and it still hadn't been processed. No comms through the whole process and I was the one who had to do all the chasing and now they have turned the phones off

BE AWARE! This is not a legitimate business they take your money, don’t deliver and don’t answer phone calls or emails.
I ordered on the 15th August, still nothing in the 1st October

I placed an order on 2 August. Most of the items were received, with the exception of 2 pieces of equipment. One being from Camec.

I received an email on 19th September explaining that the delay in delivery related to Camec being acquisitioned by another company, but they are “working closer with Aussie Traveller to get the order moving quickly”.
As I need the equipment 2 months ago, I’ve been trying to contact them for a refund, but they have turned their phones off and fail to respond to emails. So I am left waiting for delivery which will be God knows when.

Meanwhilr, I notice they are still selling Camec products, so does that mean I am not the only one waiting endlessly for my order?

Poor form Outback Equipment. At least have the decency to have a receptionist taking calls, rather than effectively ceasing communication when the going gets tough. It’s a bit like sticking your head in the sand, and letting your valued customers down.

Ordered sidewalls for my tent back in July 2026. Was told out of stock, waiting for supplier to send stock, and my order will be sent out as soon as it arrives. Got an update start of September saying still no stock. Haven't heard anything since after sending numerous emails. Tried to call. Phone line msg says temporarily shut down. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE GUYS. Hopefully I can save other people from losing money like I have.

Outback Eqipment is a scam the product we ordered was not vailable and they had no idea when they could supply. But they aaccepted our money. They advertise huge stock but they canot supply it. A refund was promised but didnot arrive they have now shut down their phone lines and being investigated bu zip Pay .Dont buy anything there

Absolutely the worst company I have dealt with. I ordered a wifi extender 4 months ago and still haven’t received it. Sent numerous emails with no reply. Can’t contact them as they have shut down their phone lines. These guys are scammers and I suggest you spend your money somewhere else

waited four months for my item before asking for a refund ,and its been over 2 weeks and refund still in the accounts department apparently, I feel this company are running this business into the ground. out of 50 reviews 48 one star, upset clients that will not purchase from them again, and warn others not to deal with them, surely this company will be no longer in business very soon. waited 50 mins on the phone to be answered, no reply to emails.

Ordered a new fusion stereo for my boat as they said it would be despatched within 6 days, 7 weeks later still no stereo and they won't answer phone or emails. Happy to steal your money and not supply
