I bought two standard size pillowcases which to me means 75x50 they sent ones measuring 51x66! And according to them I in the wrong !!! They refuse to acknowledge my complaints and will not give me a refund!
What a rotten,cheating company!
I suggest that no-one does business with them

Do disappointed, false advertising. I ordered a supposed to be milulberry silk bonnet but opened the package and it some cheap Chinese whatever material. Super disappointed, I just asked for refund but I doubt if they ll answer :(

I have been very pleased with the things I have bought. The postage takes a bit longer than expected but all the silk pillowcases I have are excellent quality

My item took a while but after reading it was coming from china.
However it was well worth the wait 👍🏻my pillowcases are beautiful😊
When I got in touch the reply is very prompt, which is very good . 😊

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering and if I could give it 0! Terrible quality, some cheap Chinese satin style fabric - certainly not silk!!! They con you into thinking it's a UK company. DO NOT BUY as you will be disappointed!

I have ordered a few times during the last few months from Orchid and I don't really know why they get such poor reviews. My last order had an item missing but I contacted the support team who were very responsive and apologised after I sent them photographic evidence and they said they would send out a replacement or I could have a refund. I picked a replacement and they told me that it would be dispatched on the 8th. I contacted the Support team on the 11th to ask for tracking and they sent this and my order arrived on Sunday 16th February. The quality is excellent and better than silk I have bought in Dunelm and cheaper pricing. I have bought silk turbans for family members and they love them and have said how good the quality is. Just for those who keep saying "it comes from China," newsflash- silk originates in China! I would not trust silk being made from anywhere else! I will be ordering from this site again. I've had a 22 Momme, Mulberry SILK pillowcase for a number of years and have loved it so decided to replace it with 2 more.
I searched online and came across The Orchid State website which has 100% positive reviews. Hmmmmm....
They were advertising Grade 6A, 22 Momme, 100% Mulberry SILK pillowcases so I ordered 2.
The website was very misleading as it was showing a UK address but I became suspicious when they took 3 weeks to arrive. Surprise surprise they were from China.
These pillowcases are absolutely not as advertised.
Cheap and nasty poor quality SATIN.
I contacted customer services to complain and asked to return and for a refund but they are refusing saying I should send them to an approved testing centre to prove their quality and that they use the same suppliers as used by Blissy and Slip.
What a joke.
This is false advertising and by reading other reviews on here there are others that have been duped by this unscrupulous business.
I have replied to customer services again today but not at all hopeful of seeing any refund.

Fraudsters and liars. This says 2 pack. There is one in each box, and they sent four boxes. Their website shows an address in London SE1. The tracking information shows this being shipped from China. I contacted support and was asked to send photos of what I received. I got a reply on 19th January saying the missing pillowcases would be dispatched within 24 hours. As of 4th February I still hadn’t received anything so I chased this and got a response on 7th February saying that the warehouse hadn’t dispatched the items! I was asked if I would like a refund for the missing items. What am I going to do with half the order? These people are liars and scammers. I’ve told them I want to return the half order at their expense and that I want a full refund. They replied on 8th February saying they would offer me 15% off but, as per their conditions, they would not accept a return on the half order they sent. 15% off??? They have only fulfilled 50% off the order! Avoid these scammers!

I cannot advise anyone to use this company. They are shocking!
I ordered two silk pillowcases which took forever to arrive. When they did arrive they were not the size that was stated on the website, they were 6cm smaller so standard pillows would not fit inside. It’s taken me over a month to convince them the pillow cases were faulty, sending photos, measurements and responding to their silly requests which basically is just them fobbing me off and hoping I get fed up and give up. They eventually agreed to refund me but I had to post the pillowcases back, pay for postage and wait for them to process the refund. Guess what….. it never happened!! So I found myself with no pillowcases and out of pocket plus postage. Thankfully I paid through PayPal who have managed to get me a refund for the pillow cases but not the postage so I am out of pocket. Please do not use this company, but yourself some silk pillowcases cases from M&S and save yourself the hassle

Pillowcases are so thin and a strange size, do not fit standard pillows very well. They were supposed to arrive before Xmas but did not. Unfortunately I read all the reviews after I had ordered them, but having read what a nightmare they are with the refund process, I decided to throw them away rather than fight that battle.

Item ordered never arrived despite being emailed to say it had been despatched. The only way you can track your order is to get the Shop App on your phone. The App asks for access to your email and shopping orders. This, in itself, is a very unsatisfactory way to try and track your order. I was informed by the Shop App that my item had been delivered that day (2 hours previously), which was obviously not the case. I am currently trying to get a response from the company to explain what is going on. I wish I had read the poor reviews before ordering. I hope I haven't wasted my money... we'll see!
Well... the pillowcase did arrive a few days later. On the pillow case itself, the label says made in China, 100% silk, but I do not think this is Mulberry Silk, as advertised. The packaging was cheap and all a little bit squashed into a small flat box and, as someone else pointed out, there was no information on the packaging about the product. I will be keeping it, as it is still a nice soft pillow case and a pretty colour, but would not order from Orchid State again, as I do not want a product that has travelled from China, especially if it is not up to standard.

It is not a UK based company, although they use a uk domain. After ordering a silk pillowcase online, my order was shipped from China. I know this because i could trace the shipment. Now i received my pillow case which is not a 100% silk. I would’ve probably bought a similar pillow for half of what i paid in a cheap shop or poundland. I wish I read reviews here before buying.

Don't really understand the poor reviews. Bought 2 silk pillowcases and 2 silk scrunchies, definitely silk and great quality for the price paid. Initially thought the scrunchies were missing, emailed in, got a very fast reply advising to check inside the pillowcase box and there they both were, tucked inside, individually wrapped. Would highly recommend!

Pillowcases are cheap and nasty. They don’t fit uk sized pillows. Tried to get a return and refund. The company were extremely rude and said it was my fault for not measuring. It’s not a shelf.i would expect a pillowcase to fit a standard pillow. Do not buy from this company you are wasting your money. Really really unprofessional and unscrupulous business. DO NOT BUY

Looked completely different in colour to how it did on the website. Customer service poor when I broached this.

Ordered X2 '100% mulberry silk pillowcases'.
Arrived over two weeks later. It's most definitely not mulberry silk. More like a poor quality cheap satin.
Packaging was also very cheap, no details of material. Looks like something you could get from pound shop.

I emailed them stating I would like to return them for a full refund but they won't let me. Very rude replies, short blunt answers and refusing to let me return. So I've now raised a dispute with my bank.

I hadn't realised this company is in China otherwise I would not have ordered.

Poor quality.
False advertising.
Poor customer service.
Don't order from here!!

I would also leave 0 stars if a could. After many weeks my parcel were delivered to the wrong address. Courier
did not want to take any responsibility nor Orchidstate, I asked for a refund but they gave me nothing kept on that it was not their responsibility. I am now out of pocket and no pillow cases. Client services useless
Please think twice before using this company

I would give a zero if I could. An absolute sham!!! Took three weeks to arrive, and when it did the box was squashed into an envelope that didn't fit so the item was damaged. I have asked for a refund as the item was purchased as a gift. Offered 10% off, which is no use to me whatsoever. Customer service is extremely poor. I would give a wide berth.
