Fantastic customer service

Fantastic customer service. The size I ordered was too small so i got in touch to see if I could exchange for a larger size. The only had one left of the size I needed to they held it back until the received my return. The whole turnaround from when I first ordered to when I received the second item was exactly a week. Will definitely be purchasing from them again in the future.

Refund policy does not comply with…

Refund policy does not comply with consumer law. Bought items in good faith during their ‘Black Friday’ event for a holiday. The items did not fit well
so quickly returned. It was not obvious when purchased items that if returned only store credit would be offered. This is actually against consumer law. Email sent requesting a refund not store credit as ones legal right when purchasing items online even if they are in a sale. They replied with an email to say it had been refunded, this was a very misleading email, it was in fact a store credit that had been applied therefore request for refund as per legal right completely disregarded. They very cleverly said refund would be in account within 7-10days. This was taken to mean bank account. When emailed to ask where refund was it was only then that it was realised that a credit had been applied to account. A case has been raised with consumer advice. Please be very careful when purchasing from this company, they may think they are very clever however they cannot take the law in to their own hands and make up the rules. This has been a distressing experience. Please note emails to the company have been polite and professional. Awaiting a response to latest email requesting legal right to refund as per consumer law.

Updated following response from Open Attire on 30/12/25:
When purchased the items it was via a link on Facebook and the returns policy was not clearly or explicitly obvious at all stages of purchase and I cannot recall being strongly informed to read returns policy. As mentioned repeatedly, a policy that does not comply with the law!
I see from other 1 star reviews there are others who have also experienced the same trauma purchasing from this company and yes I do have a right to an opinion especially the 5 times in 5 years where there have been issues including this one.
Regarding the 2 pairs of shorts that were purchased for a holiday costing £370. They were too big, I have the smaller size so knew there was no point getting the smaller size as these do not fit well and I returned them immediately!
I am not needing to purchase any other items worth £370 at this time and do not wish to use this company again due to this situation.
Consumer law protects consumers when purchasing online, Open Attire doesn’t.
I note you think the policy is transparent I also note that you have not acknowledged it is against the law.
I also note you mentioned your policy (which does not comply with law) is mentioned on the returns slip which one needs to fill in to return an item. There was no returns slip in the parcel we had to write a handwritten note!!!!
I notice the offer to discuss further, is there a telephone number? Emails that mention a refund as per consumer law are not being replied to.
Consumer action and our bank are still supporting us.

Thank you for taking the time to outline your concerns. We are sorry to hear that you feel distressed by this experience and would like to clarify our position in full.

Our Black Friday event is the only weekend of the entire year during which purchases are subject to a store-credit-only return policy. This policy allows us to reduce prices to the lowest possible level, and to our knowledge, the lowest available anywhere online during that period. It also ensures fair access for all customers by discouraging bulk purchasing with the intention of returning most items, which can otherwise result in popular sizes and styles being unavailable to other customers during the sale.

We would like to be very clear that this policy was not hidden, disguised, or misleading in any way. The Black Friday returns policy was:

- Clearly stated on every individual product page throughout the entire weekend

- Displayed on our Returns Policy page

- Reiterated on the returns form, which must be completed to process any return

We strongly encourage all customers to review this information prior to purchase and again before submitting a return.

Regarding the refund communication, the confirmation email explicitly states in its first line:

“If your purchase was part of our Clearance or Black Friday Sale, the credit refund will go straight into your Open Attire account.”

The refund was therefore processed exactly as outlined in both the policy and the confirmation email. No representation was made that funds would be returned to a bank account, and the wording clearly specifies an account credit, not a monetary refund.

We understand that this may not have been your preferred outcome; however, the policy was in place, clearly communicated, and acknowledged through the completion of the returns process. In circumstances where policies are available at multiple stages of purchase and return, responsibility is shared in ensuring they are reviewed and understood.

We also note that all reviews you have posted on trustpilot are one-star ratings. While we respect your right to share your opinion, we remain confident that our processes were transparent and applied consistently and fairly.

As advised, your store credit remains valid and available for use. Should you wish to discuss this further or require assistance in using your credit, we are happy to help.

Ordered some cargos which came fast and for a great price too. Bought a jumper which didn’t fit and returned it no hassle at all with a quick refund. Will order from open attire again for sure.

Jumped online to do a bit of shopping for new year and came across open attire
In 4 days two orders the quality of the jeans are 10/10 and true to size, online shopping is getting difficult a lot of Chinese company’s with shipping of like 10 days , Open attire next day delivery no messing about with the best customer service , open attire my new online wardrobe

Outstanding Customer Service

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received , I bought 2 overshirt's in the black Friday sales and I needed to return 1 , but made a query first with Open Attire. Charlie went above and beyond to get me another overshirt that fit. Response time was extremely quick , returns process was easy. Fantastic

Be careful what you buy from this company.Not authorised missoni stockists I have checked direct with missoni. Also the store credit scam they have going is laughable they will actually give refunds

I bought a missoni legacy t shirt and short set and the quality of the product was absolutely terrible could not return it quick enough I had real authenticity concerns about the items I bought from open attire there customer service is nothing short of inept and they are not authorised missoni stockists which raises a major red flag also they have made no attempt to prove to me that the items are real and genuine.
I checked directly with missoni and they are not genuine uk stockists authorised by missoni so they could get there clothes from anywhere who knows 🤔
Also they only offered me store credit but why on earth would I buy anything else from them when I have genuine authenticity concerns about the items they sell and have made no attempt to prove to me otherwise beggars belief it really does stay well clear is my advice choose a genuine uk stockist of designer or brand who will offer a full refund not store credit if any issues arise.

Authenticity concerns were only raised after store credit had been mentioned as part of our standard returns process for clearance items. Had you expressed these concerns earlier, we would have been more than happy to ease any concerns.

To suggest that Missoni’s diffusion line (Missoni Sport) is of such poor quality that you deem it to be counterfeit is unfounded. Diffusion lines are a lower-priced line of products created by a designer to reach a broader audience. These lines are distinct from the brand's main, high-end collection but maintain the brand's name recognition and overall DNA. They are manufactured on a larger scale, use more accessible materials, which will cause variations between them, and the main-line label.

Regarding store credit, this is offered exclusively for ‘clearance items’, which represent less than 5% of our entire website. All non-clearance products are eligible for a full refund in line with our returns policy, which is clearly outlined at checkout and on our website.

We understand that you contacted Missoni directly; however, it is important to note that authorised-stockist lists won’t usually include independent retailers who source products through verified and legitimate distributors. We take authenticity extremely seriously, and all products are obtained through reputable supply channels. We would gladly have addressed any concerns had they been communicated to us before the return was completed.
