Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. Will give you the run-around, tell you they can do certain things to secure a sale and then not be able to deliver on any of those promises. Customer service is totally muddled and looking for technicalities on how to further the run-around. Just book a different service. This one doesn't make sense.

Amazon Home Services sent this person, On Tech to install my blink home security and doorbell. He stayed 5 hours, was saying how cheap he could get a ring doorbell pro and said it was cheaper than AMZN, a double cell battery was two batteries yet no way to separate, god darn him, he is a flimflam man, con, swindler. Elbert saw I'm a disabled a lady and over 70. I wasn't aware of the scam going on until today. The prices quoted for one installation of a ring doorbell was over $408.00. Run if they knock on your door. I am calling Amazon for putting me in danger, AGs office for investigation into Adult Protective services. A ring doorbell today and same model on Amazon is $89. Crooks.

The technician cursed in normal conversation as if it was professional behavior. They charged a separate $100 fee for each device installation. He was incredibly condescending when speaking to me. Asked how many people lived here, told me that I should know more about my technology purchases…I was insulted at every turn. Asked why I would choose one lock over the one that they sell. Why would I choose one security company over another. He called his next client a stupid b***h. He was incredibly rude and unprofessional. It was pretty shocking. I couldn’t wait for him to finish his work and leave.
NO KNOWLEDGE DO NOT HIRE AND WASTE $
I paid $50 to have a technician come to my house and help inform me on which cameras to properly choose exactly from Ring so I did not fall into issues and then have to deal with exchanges/returns etc. When the installer came he told me I needed an adapter/out let installed by an electrician which I came to find out I did NOT. This led to the first incorrect purchase, the second camera he suggested for another angle I came to find out was not the correct one and I had to buy the one that already came with mounting. This is now after I placed my order with Ring and have contacted them and the order has been placed and on the way so they cannot stop it. This means I now have to wait another week for the products to arrive to then return them and then REORDER the cameras which I will have LOST my Black Friday discount on and hopefully receive those in another 2 weeks on top. This is an absolutely horrible company I will never use or recommend you to anyone for the headache you caused me.

Did not even bother showing up. Did not answer phones. Deplorable customer service. If you see Handy assign you an installation from OnTech you may as well call and ask for a reschedule right away. Google should be ashamed of the service provided.

Kudos to Yorando and Conrad from the Totowa, NJ OnTech office! They did a great job getting my Nest to work downstairs (and did some nifty work to get it running with out the C Wire) and helped me upgrade to learning Nest upstairs. Thanks for taking the time to get it right!

After reading some reviews that they are not recording correctly email addresses. I had this exact issue when requesting advisory service. I cancelled my service $49.99 minutes after not getting email confirmation and when confronted rep he said may take 24 hours. Now I’m in delema and does not make any sense to correct their mistake and resend the email confirming my request for advisory service. Without any email confirmation requesting a advisory service and then canceling, a credit card dispute is in question…?

Tech was here for 15 mins and did not do anything I asked. He mounted it differently then what I asked. The 1 most important thing I hired ontech for was to hardwire the ring doorbell AND IT IS NOT HARDWIRED!!!! He had no tools at all. No face mask, no gloves, no shoe coverings and no hand sanitizer. I COULD HAVE DONE THIS JOB MYSELF BETTER and I have on the last one that Ring replaced due to battery malfuction. They have a guarantee but I just want a tefund because I dont trust the next tech they send at all. I dont trust the skill level of the techs at all. Unprofessional. $141.69 after tax for install to be completely wrong. I dont want them back to my home again. I live in an apartment and I cant keep mounting and unmounting this doorbell because their incompetence.

I've been on the phone with these obviously ill informed employees a dozen times over almost 2 weeks. I wait, am put on hold, sent to another person. I was told they'd email me mailing labels to return the malfunctioning detectors. I have yet to get anything from them. I know when I call that I'll be put on hold and passed around with no respect. I can't wait to get On Tech OUT OF MY LIFE. I am a respected business woman and I'm spreading the word. ONTECH HAS NO IDEA WHAT IT'S DOING. Or maybe it's just a scam business?
