Awful experience at SOLIHULL Super drug…

Awful experience at SOLIHULL Super drug pharmacy, went to collect injection and no one on desk , on calling out a grumpy woman appeared and looked annoyed. Didn’t provide me with a sharps bin, on getting home when I realised and rang pharmacy no one was picking phone , called main no and another unhelpful person picked up phone after several rings and declared pharmacy is closed even thought closing time is 18:00 and I rang 20 -30 min before their website closing time.
Please improve how you deal with customers!

Worst ever pharmacy

Salisbury Superdrug pharmacy are by far and away the worst pharmacy I have ever come across. I have been in four times since the 23rd November, it is now the 9th December and they are still unable to complete a standard prescription, they blame a new system and the supplier but seem to have no system or management control at their end.

long wait for perscription

nobody in store or at pharmacy at all, gave my perscription in to lady at counter and i was waiting about 20 minutes for my perscription. even the lady was embrassed about how long i was waiting and she kept saying hwo sorry she was for the wait.

Avoid Superdrug Pharmacy Dreadful Customer Service

This is the second review I have done for Superdrug pharmacy I had thought the problems that plagued the newly implemented pharmacy system would have ironed itself out. Unfortunately it is getting worse. Waiting times of 30mins or more to receive only part of your perscription. They say it will be in the next day and it’s not. It’s totally chaos and so unorganised it’s hard to see and believe. I was contacted by Superdrug PR about my initial bad review. They just seem to provide a smoke screen to give the impression they care. Well I for one have had enough and moving back to a larger competitor. Over and out

At Saffron Walden store products are…incorrectly priced

At Saffron Walden store products are continually incorrectly rung up at till, not as priced on shelf.
I made a complaint recently when 3 for 2 was not accepted by the managed Katy, who said it was the way it was advertised! I questioned this but store manager was unable to deal with my complaint.
The online complaint team are only there to take complaint, advise store to get it right but NOT to provide customer service 😣

Cancelled my flu vaccine 15 mins before appt.

Had my flu vaccine booked for today at midday at Superdrug in FOLKESTONE - it’s a half hour drive there. They called me just 15 minutes before my appointment time TO CANCEL - I was already there! They said their delivery had only just arrived and there was no flu vaccine! I find this hard to believe. Surely you order something and you know what’s in your delivery? Worrying that this is how incompetent a Pharmacy is run. Let’s hope I don’t catch the flu…. Thanks Superdrug

Awful. Avoid at all cost!

Awful. Absolutely awful. Most importantly, it takes them two weeks to get anything out the door! Even then it turns up wrong, items missing. The app insists you use their chat, but that just goes to the pharmacy, where they know nothing. They told me to email another company! Who are they?! I did, and never got a reply. The service is terrible, the customer service is worse, and neither is acceptable when dealing with vital medication. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Slow delivery resulting in wasted medication

I placed my order and they stated they dispatched it on the Tuesday evening. I was very surprised to see that, after having paid nearly six pounds for delivery, they chose to send my refrigerated medication via Snail Mail (Royal Mail). On the Thursday night, I got a notification from Royal Mail that they would deliver on the Friday. No one was home, so I requested a delivery on the Saturday, which was accepted.
Saturday came and went and no delivery. Royal Mail finally delivered this at 2.30pm on Monday. My medication had been out of the fridge for six days by this point. This, therefore, meant that it could no longer be refrigerated and had to be kept at room temperature and used within 28 days of it being dispatched. I have therefore lost out on my final dose.
I emailed Superdrug for them to tell me that it was my fault that the package didn’t turn up as I dared to ask Royal Mail to move it to the following day.
Why they aren’t using DPD or Evri, I have no idea.
I won’t be ordering again, as I can’t trust them to get my medication to me in time.

The worst Online Pharmacy

I have experienced everything the authors of negative reviews have mentioned and more multiple times.

For several years, I have had to allow 2 weeks for my meds to arrive which has frequently resulted in me having to request a prescription prematurely or risk running out of meds.

However, the biggest stain on their service is that twice they have failed to properly seal the package of drugs sent to me which, as a result, has spilled out en route and arrived incomplete. Not only have they caused inconvenience, but they also breached my privacy. On both occasions, I have given them chapter and verse on what I have deduced about inappropriate packaging (overstuffing jiffy bag) and poor quality packaging (cheap jiffy bags that dont seal properly) but they do everything to blame Royal Mail and one idiot even phoned me to say they wouldn't send the missing drugs until they had got feedback from Royal Mail. I asked her what possible feedback could change the fact that my drugs needed to be replaced. She wasn't even capable of processing that simple logic so fixated was she on passing the buck.

Try and complain and you will get some nonsense back such as "you're talking to the pharmacy, you need to contact customer service". You point out that their website doesn't say that you can't use their messaging service to communicate with customer service and ask why they can't simply forward your complaints to customer service. They then give some random stuff about GDPR so you then turn to the chat function. You say you want to complain but what comes back is "thank you for your feedback". You insist that you want to register a complaint, not feedback and they reassure you that it "will be looked into". Of course you hear nothing. No apology, no lessons learnt, the same mistakes repeated over and over again. I concluded from the fact that their website makes no mention of how to complain and none of their people can give you a sensible response that Superdrug simply do not have a complaints process which is an utter disgrace, particularly where people's health is concerned.

I have tolerated this situation over far too many years and so have finally terminated my relationship with Superdrug and complained to the General Pharmaceutical Council about their conduct.

If these stories don't put you off, then ask yourself why you should pay a recently introduced charge that no other similar online pharmacy service levies. And then ask yourself why Superdrug respond to none of the negative reviews. Could it be because they simply don't care?

Trash

Trash. I decided to use superdrug online pharmacy as I thought it would be easier than going to my local pharmacy everytime I needed my repeat prescription. Sore mistake. If you want your medication anywhere near on time, expect to order it 2 weeks in advance. They are horrendously slow at processing and shipping. It should not be faster for me to walk to a local pharmacy, request the medication, and then pick it up the next day. But yet here we are...

Superdrug, you are clearly using a manual process behind the scenes which is absolutely killing productivity. Do better...

Will not use again

I wish I read the reviews before I made an order from their online pharmacy. They advertise 48 hrs service, its been a week and it is still pending pharmacist approval although they took money straight away. There is no Customer service email so have to use conversation with "GP" Box to try and chase it up. Nobody answers. Stressful experience. Will not use them again.

Wish I’d read these earlier

Wish I’d read these earlier. Order was three days late so had to purchase elsewhere, no obvious contact number so I emailed three times and tried the live chat before I was given two wrong numbers. Refusing to refund a £25 prescription I’ve now bought twice.

Asked for the complaints procedure.

Dangerously unreliable/ uderstaffed

Additional note, my earlier review below, on visiting the pharmacy I was told that their supplier still does not have any stock after more than a month. Also witnessed another customer just ahead of me being told the same thing, almost identical situation. My GP managed to send the prescription request to another nearby Pharmacy, they had the item in stock. Will not be using Superdrug again if I can help it.

Have been struggling to use my local pharmacy for getting all the prescription items for my Mum. It is fairly close and seemed ok, the other options seem too small or are further away.

Over the last two months the service has been abysmal, only half the amount of medicine was in stock so they gave me a note stating that the owed be the rest. But I was asked to phone ahead before attempting to collect. I have been trying to phone for the last couple of days, they do not answer the phone, instead I hear a recording telling me I cannot leave a message! Head office no longer accept calls when you call the main number for customer services. The online webchat passed me on to a hopeless online form when they realised they could not help.

Horrendous. Do not use.

Horrendous. Total chaos. Do not use. Who is making money from this non-service and are they charging the NHS?
Girl in 'call centre' claimed my scripts had been dispensed, eventually, after messages leading me to believe they were on their way. They haven't been. Nice person I spoke to who actually explained their 'system ' trying to get things sorted for me, but I still don't know when I will get a vital script. I signed up for this service due to illness and difficulties getting out. They have caused more problems , when if I had just had scripts sent straight to the pharmacy at least I could have either had it days ago or spoken to someone there.

Avoid

Sadly I have to agree with all the negative reviews. I’ve used them for a while and it seems to have completely gone down hill. A month ago they missed a prescription, just forgot to send it. They fixed that really quickly but this time they confirmed they sent to then tell me they hadn’t when I chased. No understanding of why this was an issue, still no real urgency or attempt to resolve. There’s next to no customer service. Twice I’ve asked how to make a formal complaint and they just ignore it.

The online prescription service is an…

The online prescription service is an absolute joke. Advertised with 48 hour Royal Mail delivery you'd expect to receive your script 3 or so days later?! Well that is if they don't take at least 7 days to process it before dispatching?! Oh yeah they then send you a dispatch email saying 3-5 working days for it to arrive?!
Tesco can receive pack and deliver too me within 25 mins from ordering! Whilst I don't expect that 7 days to process a script for dispatching is an absolute shambles!
