I moved into a new build home almost 12 years ago and the developer fitted a Kitchen manufactured by OMEGA.
Today the kitchen still looks as if it was manufactured yesterday.
We recently had the need to change some things around.
I contacted customer service only to find that the units had been discontinued few years ago. Their customer service manager Vicky Martin looked in to sourcing some replacement doors for me.
I didn't hold out any hope, but to my joy, Vicky came up with the goods.
What a credit she is to OMEGA and the product they supply.
Fantastic/second to non service.

Dream kitchen to nightmare.
Purchased Savoy painted handle less kitchen 21th October 2021,in early March 2024 we noticed peeling on Dishwasher door , fridge door warped and paint peeling,we contacted our supplier how contacted Omega, after months of emails backwards and forwards,In the mean time the doors and draw fronts got worse to the extent all door and draw fronts were showing signs of paint cracking and warping.
Omega finely came to look and test the doors, we were told its moisture ingress and misuse of kitchen and not drying doors after cleaning,humidty levels above what Omega recommend.
A kitchen is to use and should be durable for many years to come, what they are saying makes a mockery of there guarantee and customer service,
What you see in the glossy brochure its not backed up when it comes to valid complaint.
All we we got from Omega was two doors which they damaged when doing there test they called it a gesture of good will,
Our supplier did all they could on our behalf and should not be out of pocket,we've had all doors and draw fronts replaced at our supplies expense,they no longer sell omega kitchens because of problems with other customers.
It just proves these kitchens are not fit for purpose.

Being in our 70s this was to be our up market dream kitchen,its now our down market nightmare.

One star is too generous for this company. We have an Omega kitchen handle less design. Serota hand painted doors not fit for purpose. The company claims 'All kitchens should stand the test of time, theirs are resilient and hard wearing' they even have Pru Leith as an ambassador who suggests they are beautifully made and last forever' - This could not be further from the truth. Our new build kitchen paint is bubbling peeling, cracking. 13mths now since we moved in the paint finish is awful. All kitchens are exposed to moisture and heat. Humidity is 39% normal by the way! This kitchen is not lasting even a reasonable length of time. If it was quality manufacture it should last up to 10 years. The customer service is dire. This company refuse to replace, they prefer to ignore go to any lengths in fact to avoid taking responsibility for their useless product. The reason for delays in response is to stretch time to the point where they can then claim it is no longer covered by any warranty.
I suggest they are in breach of contract under the consumer rights act 2015. Goods should last a reasonable length of time.
Chris also came to inspect after months of trying to get a response from Omega on 26th July 2024. He claimed the obvious damage was caused in installation and claimed that his company did'nt install it Backhouse the developer did? 2 months later Omega refuse to honour any warranty, because they claim we signed the kitchen off after installation. But, we were not here when it was installed? We still have a door that wont close – the operative agreed there was a fault it is malfunctioning. Again the whole thing is being avoided ignored. It is comical actually....:) The lengths to which they will go to avoid culpability. How can it be reported on the 7 day snag list if the issues comes to light after the seven days? These snags are not always apparent straight away. Under a microscope perhaps but, time passes by and they become obvious and we are talking about a short space of time. I repeat any quality kitchen should last up to 10 years not 13months. No customer service just a catalogue of trading standards failures.
Omega have deliberately ignored these snags continuously for months and months in order to engineer the timing of their response - so that they can now claim it falls outside of the 12 month warranty from the date we were handed the keys from the developer. Omega operative Chris was here on 26th July after many months of complaining.
Its now 24th September since that visit. 2 months ago. Thats how much they care about customer satisfaction. Says it all.
Over time more and more paint issues are coming to light! this week I noticed 3 more cupboards are affected.
Obviously the snags we have reported and continue to report should be dealt with in a timely manner not completely ignored. Any kitchen manufacturer that actually cared about its product quality will have sorted this out by now. Omega is not one of those trust me. Just come and visit to see for yourself!
Reputation means nothing to them.

We have an omega plc shereton range kitchen. Less than 2 years old and a large numbers (i.e most) of door fascias are peeling, with huge chunks of paint coming off and unit swelling underneath. They're under warrenty but omega say its because of standing water so won't honour it! Categorily its not an issue with standing water - the units have not had standing water on them at any time and kitchen is not humid or damp. The underside of some units cracking which obviously cant have standing water as that would defy gravity! So after 2 years the units look awful. Such a waste of money and guarentee meNingless. Units chip v easily too and handle-less dont withstand use by actual human hands (as finger nails chip the paint).
So the units do not withstand normal kitchen use or use by human hands...which calls into question the 'rigorous' testing they say theyve done. Not.fit for.purpose.
I notice the 5 star reviews are just installed kitchens...wonder if they'll be as happy in 2 years time...

We have just had an omega kitchen fitted in our home, the experience from introduction to the management team , initial planning with their top designer Curtis, and being fitted by Omega’s fitting team Brian and Harry was fantastic, nothing was a problem and everything fitted perfectly.

The quality of the units far surpasses other kitchen suppliers and the customers service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble and everything was done on time including delivery. After sales service was also excellent. Thank yu very much..

Absolutely disgraceful approach to customer service. Our indigo blue kitchen is chipping away nicely starting within a few months of moving into our new build property. The touch up pens don't do the job needed to solve issues, commitments made on a zoom call have not been upheld and they can't wait to get rid of you as a customer. Altogether shocking approach to dealing with customers.

My experience with the Sheraton Kirchen/Omega purchased from the Kitchen Gallery has been deeply disappointing. Despite assurances of a guarantee, I've encountered numerous issues with the product. Regrettably, attempts to address these concerns have been met with frustrating silence from both the seller and the manufacturer.
Though the purchase wasn't recent, the frustration lingers as my efforts to resolve the issues persistently go unanswered. It's disheartening to see the lack of responsiveness from entities that should stand behind their products and commitments.
I had initially expected a seamless experience and reliable after-sales support, but the reality has been far from it. It's evident that the promises made were not upheld, leaving me feeling disillusioned and regretful of my investment.
My experience highlights a concerning lack of accountability and customer care. It's disappointing to see such disregard for customer satisfaction.

From our very first appointment in the superb Omega showroom with Ashley to standing in our new kitchen now, everything has been of the highest standard with support all of the way through the process. Delivery dates are accurate and queries answered quickly.
Every aspect of the product is of the highest quality; even our project manager/builder commented that it’s the best quality kitchen he’s fitted!

We’ve been absolutely delighted with both the standard of the kitchen and the customer service from start to finish.
We looked at kitchens from other companies and are extremely pleased that we chose an omega. Our fitter (independent) was amazed how easy it was to install too.
