Omega kitchen units are excellent quality and have a great choice. Our joiner said they were one of best he has installed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We absolutely love our kitchen! The Omega team were super helpful from start to finish through designing the kitchen to quick delivery. We have had so many compliments about the quality and love spending our evenings cooking now! Would really recommend this company! Thanks for all your help

We have had a retail showroom for 10 years and have had Omega kitchens displayed from day one. We display the Mackintosh range.
Great choice of door styles & colours, our installers like installing the product as it comes rigid built from factory.
Megan our sales representative is always on hand for any queries we have, updates our samples and keeps in touch with any updates.

Had Chippendale cupboards fitted as part of a new kitchen in 2018.
The painted doors do not wear well, we have bought several replacement doors over the years and also had somebody from Omega for the day to repaint and repair doors. Practically all the doors have had marks, scratches and the paint has worn off in areas.
Even the doors we have had repaired and replaced are now back in the same bad state again. Have also bought and paid used paint and wax repair kits from Omega (not cheap!).
I notice there are several other reviews on Trustpilot that say the same thing about the painted doors so at least that has reassured me that we’re not the only customers who have had this experience!

21st September 2025 Update:

After a visit from an Omega representative in April, Omega offered to replace all our kitchen doors, side panels and kick boards free of charge. They also agreed to replace with a different type of door ( laminated MFC as opposed to painted) in the same colour. Omega Customer Services have been great and although we had to pay for a kitchen fitter, it has been so worth it. The new doors seem so much better and so far no issues. Thank you Omega, our kitchen now looks as it should 😊.

The team at Omega are always so supportive. Megan, our sales rep, is always on hand and happy to help. Had a fantastic experience day at Omega, to learn more about these amazing, high-qualty products. Amazing place and showroom! Can't fault these guys.

What an amazing kitchen!
Omega are one of the caring companies, don’t like to let customers down and go over and above expectations to make sure that do everything to make the customer happy - which not many companies can say they do! After some issues with a fitter I contacted Karen, and straight away she was on the same page and was there to help me and make me happy with my kitchen. She understood that the kitchen is the heart of the home and wanted me to be happy and love what they had given me. Karen couldn’t have done anything more - other than coming and fitting it herself! She was there for every step of the install, contacting me when she said she would, helping and advising. There was nothing Karen didn’t know about the brand, she is a very proud employee and I can see why! Would definitely recommend Omega, and their fitters and I would definitely use them again if I needed another kitchen. They have smashed the bar for customer service which is so rare and the quaintly of the workmanship is second to none! Our bespoke kitchen is beautiful and I love it! I can’t stop looking at it I’m so happy with Omega, thank you to all the staff but especially Karen, you are a star with a heart of gold x

We have a beautiful showroom that's been open for a little while now displaying several Omega kitchens and we receive so many compliments from our clients. They are are always so impressed with the quality! Meg, our area sales manager, is so supportive and offers an excellent service to ensure everyone has what they need.

Megan & the Omega team have been a pleasure to deal with! The kitchen design they have come up with for my flat has absolutely transformed the space & the quality is top draw. Can’t recommend them enough!

It's been an absolute pleasure and the support and her willingness to revise and improve the kitchen has been fantastic. I recently purchased a new kitchen through House of Kitchens I went to their showroom in Osett, great range on display. I was invited to go to the Omega showroom in Thorne to see there whole range. I decided to go with the Novus kitchen it is now installed absolutely over the moon with it, would highly recommend .

More than happy with The Omega kitchen, was spoilt for choice & the quality is there to be seen . Great communication throughout the process, delivery when promised with nothing missing or on back order.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality product without the stupid prices others had quoted.

Bought and fitted painted kitchen doors from Omega via local supplier who sells their kitchens
On install in August 2023 the fitter said how poor these doors were. How easily the paint comes off. It was surprising to see how many doors and cut offs were sent back to Omega for replacements from day one. Could also see that the fitters were touching up paint on some of the doors, that were deemed as small damages. (Small white specs everywhere)
I couldn't believe this, how can a brand new kitchen doors paint peel/come off before it's even installed. What kind of poor processes and standards are in place that this is acceptable
From day one several doors have bubbled and peeled for no reason. The doors are handleless but do have a groove to open the doors and these are areas that bubble a lot
The local supplier then said that this was normal and Omega would provide touch up paint kits!
I find this an absolute disgrace that this is deemed normal, at no stage during the sales process were we told that painted kitchens have no protection to them
From the offcuts I could see that the doors are made of very little. I could see how pathetic they were when a little bit of rain came into contact with them, how the offcuts warped so easily which many other commentators have said on their reviews.
The doors are made of basic MDF, one coat of primer, then one coat of paint. I can't believe this is acceptable for a heavily used area of the house like a kitchen (I had this confirmed by Omegas Regional Sales Rep later, who said that as it's a Premium Range product the protection on the doors were less than for budget doors.....I couldn't believe I was told this. I don't believe this would have been his sales pitch if I hadn't already bought the doors!)
Back to the order of events. We raised the issue with the doors bubbling and initially were told that we could replace the doors at cost. I politely declined to pay again for doors from Omega with fundamental issues
A year after the install, eventually the doors were deemed enough for someone from Omega to come out.
A nice enough bloke came out but as others have said he scratched 2 of the doors for testing. The testing carried out was meant to meet some sort of industry standard. I've never seen such pathetic tests carried out in my life. I'm embarrassed after seeing this that we forked out the amount of money we did on these kitchen doors. I honestly feel conned that the industry standard was so poor.
He scratched the doors lightly, and apparently it's perfectly acceptable that this went all the way through to the wood. Another test was punching a mark on the door, apparently also it's to be expected for this to go through the paint. Mind boggling
The man then noted which doors he deemed needed replacing and which ones he would just touch up. The doors all had the same issues, to this day have no idea why some doors could be replaced and others touched up. The ones he did touch up have since returned to their damaged state.
Not all the doors that he deemed needing replacing have been replaced to this day. As inexplicably the wrong doors were sent and still haven't been corrected.
During the visit he said that as they are painted doors that touch ups were needed. He also stated that as per the manual we received post sale and post installation (If we had seen these before purchase we would not have bought as a kitchen needs to have some level of durability, these have none.) basically don't touch the doors with anything.
We said we basically touch the kitchen as little as possible, why do more white specs appear, he had no explanation.
In the meantime we have had a visit from aforementioned Omega Regional Sales Rep who we explained our issues with the doors to in Jan-25. I explained the doors were not fit for purpose. I said that I wanted Omega to add some protection to the doors which would make them fit for purpose. He agreed there was issues with the doors and would take for someone to review. He said a response would be given in 10 working days and that he would push/fight for a positive resolution whilst also pointing out how stupid we were for believing a Premium door meant a door that was designed for a kitchen and that if we wanted that we should have bought budget level wrapped doors)
Was there a response in 10 days?
Of course not
After 18 months we have not had a kitchen without any bubbled painted doors or painted doors without annoying white specs showing for no good reason
I have no faith Omega will resolve this issue long term. They should look to add protection to the doors. Clearly plenty of people from the comments have the same issue with these painted doors. They are poor quality and have insufficient protection to be deemed fit for a kitchen. I challenge Omega to prove me wrong and put a long term solution to this fundamental issue in place

Purchased Sheraton kitchen in 2024. The whole experience from getting the design and quote to having it installed was really good. Above all, the quality of the kitchen is brilliant and we are delighted with it. Would highly recommend.

Do not buy these products, the paint came off the kitchen doors, replacement doors sent which were fitted at our own expense, same issue occurred. Additionally a number of doors have split, despite an alleged 10 year warranty the company will not honour this and claim that the damage has been caused by standing water which is not the case but conveniently this is not covered by the warranty. Tried to resolve via complaints, came and inspected doors causing damage to two for testing, still awaiting replacements and their offer of resolution to the other doors that are damaged is that we can purchase replacements!!!

Having only had a kitchen fitted less than 2 years The Mackintosh Doors are not fit for purpose. Don’t buy these kitchens as they will not honour their guarantee and like previous reviews mention all Omega PLC will come back and say is after reviewing the Photos we can see that moisture may have caused the doors paint finish to crack so they will not replace them. We had one door replaced within a year but now Five doors have all gone the same and we are careful as the kitchen cost over £20000. First it’s a kitchen and previous painted door kitchen have never cracked. This is down to a manufacturer defect in the paint final application and Omega as a company should put their hands up and replace free of charge as they are supposed to be guaranteed for 15 years. You have all been warned. After the first year your kitchen will look old. The next step unfortunately will be to have the doors independently inspected and start proceedings for redress as you won’t honour your warranty and the damage has not been caused by water or moisture but a manufacturing defect.

I bought an English rose fitted kitchen through Trago Mills.
After less than two years the paint has started to peel and crack. Moisture can penetrate through the paint and cracking of the lower doors has begun.
A report was sent to English Rose together with photographs showing the faults. The areas in question are not near water, so the only moisture used on the doors is through cleaning.
English Rose offer a six year warranty.
They claim that, despite not having inspected the doors, that the faults are due to poor maintenance and are not honouring the warranty. They claim that water has been allowed to settle on the doors, and this has softened the paint causing it to fail. Is this paint fit for purpose? It is a kitchen!
I do intend to escalate Consumer rights and BBC spotlight are being contacted.
Since the parent company wrote their reply, I have had no contact from Omega or English rose what so ever. They are not an honourable company and have offered nothing at all to answer the issues. For your own peace of mind, DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!!
I have had contact from Trago Mills, and they have kindly offered to replace the faulty doors at their expense.

I agree with previous comments. Kitchen looks fabulous however after short period of time the painted kitchen cupboards have all cracked along surfaces of the doors and warped.

I am told spikes in humidity and opening the dishwasher door caused the issues. All without a visit to inspect the kitchen! It seems a standard response . They can not guarantee it happening again.

The doors are not satisfactory quality. They are not fit for purpose. A kitchen should last more than two years prior to it warping and splitting

I have had a magnet kitchen for over 15 years and it is in a better shape that Sheraton/ Omega after two years.

Previous kitchens have lasted 20 years, these excuses are not acceptable. If you are required to have a dehumidifier to stop distortion then this should be assessed or advised at point of sale.

A kitchen gets humid ,my windows are opened as required, extractor fan, heating on, under floor insulation and cavity wall insulation and new double glazing.

It is ridiculous to expect a dehumidifier to be on 24 hours a day 7 days a week. No other kitchen has ever required this.

The doors are simply not fit for purpose. Do not buy a kitchen until they resolve the quality issues.

Please Omega you are a well know British brand you doors are unsatisfactory quality.

Handless Painted units doors should come with a warning! If you intend to use your kitchen do not buy! The kitchen looked Amazing UNTIL I started to use it!!! The paint comes off so easily, I had a very nice guy from Omega come and do tests, however I disagree with some of his comments, we do not open our dishwasher before it is finished letting the steam damage the paint… It is on timer working overnight! I have to open the fridge door and freezer!!!!
I bought indigo Blue and white heart breaking because I can’t afford to replace the doors with the rapped ones that have been recommended to replace them with.
Customer service have contacted me and asked if there was anything they could do to help… lovely girl, however unless they replace or do me a huge deal on new rapped doors Nothing will help, the kitchen is a working area in our home for 3 adults and it looks horrible to me. Please put Warning on the handless painted range… Not suitable for Dishwasher or Fridge/ Freezer and Washing machines doors

My understanding from the telephone conversation is that Omega kitchens were going to escalate my problems further for me. A am very grateful for this issue is at a Escalation stage hand painted handles door’s have definitely got issues with paint coming off… not just at my house.

I really believed that they would do something… How wrong I was .

Update. I have now received a good outcome with this company apart from my white cupboards surround does not match … This is down to my naivety and only checking one area when checking , as advised to check by Omega PLC customer care.
