Very poor service, they lose items and don’t even answer, in customer service they are so unprofessionals, honestly, I don’t know where did they find such people, while client is paying for “luxury” service!!!

Terrible service. I paid a premium price and received a completely substandard customer experience.
Customer service was slow, dismissive, and unable to provide even basic information about my order. I was passed around without getting a proper answer, and instead of helping, they made the situation more stressful.
For the amount of money charged, this level of service is unacceptable. Very poor communication, no real support, and a deeply frustrating experience overall.
I would not use this company again.

Stay away!
Oliver Peoples is a low integrity company. Despite their 45 day "hassle free" return policy, I am not able to return the items. The return portal would not allow me to return the items even though I did so within the return window. Instead it told me to contact customer service. Customer service is not responsive. The person on chat said they'd send a return label but never did. They seem to think I'll go away, but I'm going to reverse the charge with my credit card company. Look elsewhere!
They take your money and don't ship your stuff
I am having a very similar issue to what these recent reviews are indicating.
I spend $900 on a pair of prescription glasses. Placed December 31st 2025, estimated delivery January 6th. It is now February 2nd and there has not been a single update on my order, which still shows as 'entered', not even in the 'preparing' stage.
I have contacted the support chat 3 times, each time I'm told someone will be reaching out but they haven't. I'm told I will see an email when it ships thinking that fixes the problem, like I didn't already know that.
Today I have tried, no exaggeration, 10 times to start a chat and I have yet to be connected with an agent.
At this point I'm out nearly a thousand dollars and on-top of that I can barely see the words I'm typing without my glasses! STAY FAR AWAY, this company seems to have gone down hill after it was acquired by a mega corporation.
4. Roger Federer Brille mit Materialfehler und Konstruktionsmangel in Serie!
Qualität der Verarbeitung sehr Mangelhaft. Keinerlei Rückmeldung auf meine Mangelmeldung betreffend undichter transparenter Nasenflügel an Roger Federer Brillengestell. Dadurch Oxidation an Kupfer teilen in Nasenflügel es entsteht Grünspan. 3. ersetzte Brille auch schon wieder Grünspan.
Somit kann ich von Oliver Peoples Brillen in Sache Materialqualität und noch schlimmerer 0 Kommunikation nur abraten. Roger Federer Standard entspricht dies definitiv nicht und es ist beschämend.

My experience reflects the other reviews here. Need to return sunglasses I ordered by mistake instead of just the frames. Customer support said they can not change nor cancel order although it was just placed and not processed yet saying 'their system does not allow to change/cancel order' and that I would need to wait and receive them and then return for refund. So I created a 2nd order with what I really needed, just the frames. When sunglasses arrived I went to web site and started the return process but the printing of the return shipping label failed to print. Called customer service said 'their website must be broken, I will have one manually created and sent it to your email, it will take 24-48 hours. I did not receive it and called again and got the same 'wait another 24-48 hours'. I have so far called 4 times on this issue and last time now I am told 'we have not been able to create shipping because UPS site does not work...
Really? for the last month they say thy have not been able to create a shipping label because of UPS site problems? Well, then how are they able to print shipping labels for their orders? There is no way UPS site has been broken for a month and I also find reviews going back almost 3 years with a similar runaround story.

We are not stupid. The UPS works and can print your return shipping labels. How about this for a reason... Luxoticca has a strategy of giving their customers the runaround in the hope they will give up and they, Luxoticca, will avoid issuing refunds. They would not be the first mega-company that has cornered a market to employee this scam.

I would never order frames from this company again.
I ordered frames (no lenses) a month ago. They were shipped from Italy to the U.S. more than three weeks ago.
I do not receive updates from the company on the delivery, but receive a new email every other day wanting to sell me other frames.
When I call to check the shipment the company cannot even find the order.

Three years ago, I had a pair of glasses made with Oliver Peoples frames. The lenses are really expensive, at €600 each, which makes the glasses really expensive. The frames are the Gregory Peck model. Very nice, but really poor quality. There are white deposits from the plastic that mar the frames. You can scrape them off, but you have to do it every year. OP says it's not covered by the warranty. The hinges also have to be constantly adjusted. I'm going to give the retailer a piece of my mind. Really sad for a supposed premium product. NOT recommended.

Another great experience at Oliver Peoples, Sloane Street, London where Diana spent a generous amount of time talking me through the various options available for some new glasses for an upcoming world trip. Her product knowledge was right up there with the best and, as is always the case with this extremely well run store, the level of customer service was above and beyond. Well done Oliver Peoples for focusing so intently on top quality customer service and thank you Diana for steering me in the right direction with my purchases ! :) As a customer for more than eight years and multiple pairs of reading and long distance glasses and sunnies I will be back next time round !

Beware – Untrustworthy Business Practices
I purchased frames and lenses from the Houston location and was charged the full amount immediately, even though no valid eye prescription was provided. I later discovered that my prescription had expired and it will be two months before I can see my ophthalmologist. I contacted the store right away to cancel the order, but they refused, citing a questionable “cancellation policy.”
Corporate customer service has been equally unhelpful — they can’t even locate my order, despite my credit card being charged. As of now, I have received no refund and no resolution.
This experience has been deeply disappointing. Unless they correct this and issue a refund, I’ll be sharing my experience across every relevant consumer and review platform to warn others.

What brilliant customer service. Placed order for sunglasses and for some reason , it showed they were delivered, but did not receive. I emailed customer service and within 12 hrs had a reply. They dealt with it with no fuss , and received another order within a week. Well done and will definitely use again 👍

Terrible customer service to resolve my warranty issue since August 1 and the issue is still not resolved. I had been calling more than 10 times to Customer Service care.
I requested to speak to a manager and have been on hold for more than 30 minutes.
I would not buy caution and advise people to avoid Oliver Peoples products.
Wasting my time
Time wasters. I've been to stores before and not had any issues but online experience was a total disaster. After you place your order they will request a copy of your prescription and PD number via email, the emails are poorly written and they will not deviate from a script, they asked me to go to a optician to get a PD number. I went to three opticians who all said no optician would give you a PD number unless you buy glasses. I can't imagine oliver peoples employees do not know this. I complained, they said someone would ring me, they did not. Took 4 weeks for the glasses to arrive. I complained again and just got a ridiculous email saying sorry, hope you are satisfied with your glasses.

Dopo 7 mesi tutte le cromature delle astine (interne e plastificate) e quelle degli attacchi delle stesse all'occhiale, si stanno riempendo di ossido verdognolo....assurdo!Mai successo anche con montature di fascia molto più bassa. Mi cambieranno ancora le astine ma credo che OP debba rivedere la qualità dei materiali.
Extremely bad customer service and return proces
Extremely bad customer service. I am waiting almost three weeks for a return label for two orders and everyday I get promises but no return labels. The glasses are really expensive and you would expect a smooth return proces. Not at all! I won't recommend to buy glasses by Oliver Peoples.
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication, No Delivery, and No Accountability
I ordered from Oliver Peoples with high expectations, but the entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Despite placing my order months ago, I have still not received the items, and the handling of the situation by their customer service has been shockingly poor.
The courier used, GLS, never attempted delivery — there was no knock at the door, no card, no SMS, no email, and no prior notice that someone even needed to be home. I was home every day during the supposed delivery window. This alone raised serious doubts about whether any delivery attempt was actually made.
Worse still, there was very limited communication from Oliver Peoples throughout. I had to chase multiple times just to get any form of acknowledgment. When I asked for the package to be redelivered using a different courier, ideally with express shipping to avoid the same issue, I was met with generic responses and no resolution.
Despite detailed explanations, I was told by Emily (customer service) to “contact GLS myself,” which is completely inappropriate — especially when GLS never provided any tracking updates or contact points to begin with. After days of silence, I’ve now received a refund with no clear confirmation or explanation, and certainly no apology or accountability.
I had to escalate my concerns and even warn that I’d pursue a payment dispute, as I had not received the goods I paid for.
Overall, I expected far better from a luxury eyewear brand. The lack of professionalism, follow-through, and transparency from both Emily and Lucia was appalling. I will not be ordering from Oliver Peoples again.
Contacted Twice - No Response
Have contacted twice about a return process and query, I haven’t heard back either time. The items are very expensive and this is not the level of customer service I would expect for the price point.

I spent $496 on a pair of sunglasses that snapped at the hinge just over a year later. When I contacted the company, they told me it was out of warranty and offered no support. For that kind of money, I expect better quality and customer service. Definitely won’t be buying from this brand again
